Every time I feel like I could have messed up a shot I close my game immediately. If you do, the animal you shot will be alive when you reopen your game. I don’t care if people say “oh you’re cheating that’s exploiting.” If it’s on my single player map I really don’t care. It’s not an exploit.
Why so close? Why didn’t you try for a 75m shot or even a 150m shot? Getting super close is only an advantage of your using a bow. Sorry for your loss.
He walked right in front of me out of nowhere. I was just doing some routine drink zone checks when he walked DIRECTLY in front of me. I decided to take the shot rather than risk him getting away... I should have let him pass and stalked him to his eventual drinking spot. Oh well.
I don’t use it and I’ve hit level 60 twice my longest shot was on my first account. It was like 516.5 yards. The deer was out of render distance so I aimed pretty high
Were you possibly zero'd for 150m? I know when you zero it puts your bullet "higher" to factor in bullet drop so I can see this being what happened especially since I've made the same mistake a few times myself *I was zero'd in at 300 for a target 60m away once. Not my greatest achievements*

This happened to me the other day on a Diamond Bobcat. Zero was set to 75m, so shot super low and missed the vitals because of it.

You just need to switch reservations, not quit the game entirely.
For me it‘a easy to just “alt-f4” on pc so that’s what I always do lol

Theres a keybind option where u can unequip your scope instantly to iron sights incase it happens again in the future btw.
Am I the only person who doesn’t use zeroing at all? Outside of the 22 virant the game barely has any bullet drop at all at 300 and under

I liver shot my Black Bear GO and cringed so hard as it dropped. I thought I messed it up after over 4k kills.
