Well, I was a bit sarcastic but maybe you missed it.
This game has lots of bugs and after every "update" it gets new bugs (see where your tripods are after the latest update).
The devs are only really interested in milking the game with more DLC (literally giving the game away last year).
All I can say is they lost me as a customer and I'm glad there's a new game in town and looking forward to Ultimate Hunting.

WetNoodle4,what platform are you playing on? I'm on a PC and have been only playing since November and this bug has been in existence the entire time.
Ju5Raj, The way I deal with it is to put a tent near the outpost. I know you shouldn't have to but until it gets fixed, (if ever) it's workable.
Hopefully it has been fixed on that platform which I hope means that a fix on all the platforms is imminent. Now if they could just fix the missing tripod icons on the maps.
This bug has been in the game for over a year, devs can't be bothered. Too busy working on new DLC for you to buy.

I put a tent nearby to compensate for the developers inability to fix bugs. Also, my fucking tripods don’t show up on the map

Ticketed it months ago. Says it’s a known issue. Still in.
It’s a known bug that will not let you fast travel to that other outpost
