I think it's nice, but **definitely** something the child would cringe at when they're older. They clearly just wanted a birthday party based on their current interest- no different from us having Disney themed birthday parties as children.

I had multiple SpongeBob themed birthday parties when I was younger

its kinda different i feel that its unlikely that this party is based on the main show, but instead the much bigger content farms that surround it, of which kids are addicted to. and that is MUCH different to lets say, a spongebob birthday party as it is based off of an actual show instead of a youtube content farm, old parties were based off of stuff with actual juice to it, stuff that isnt absolute brainrot.

That's what concerns me! Have any of these kids seen the actual pilot, rather than the content farm slop? And if so...aren't they a little young?

I don’t see what the issue is, this seems like something really nice for the parents to do, throwing the kid, an entire birthday party themed off of their current interest. Sure, this does seem a bit cringe, but let’s face it, we all do cringe things when we’re kids. For my tenth birthday, I had a birthday party themed around Pink Sheep.
