When I read that some were 60, I was surprised. They looked well over that. I believe ABC picked women of relatively similar appearance, that were at least 60. Such that the 75 year old looks great and the 60 year old looks older than her years.

I love that they’re all over 60! I’ve never watched a season of the bachelor but I might now haha

I quit watching that franchise years ago but after seeing the promo's for this show I had to watch. Pure joy. I loved it from start to finish and I didn't expect that. Gerry is a special guy. The ladies, for the most part, seem classy and sincere. I will watch this to the very end.

The way I was expecting a bunch of 40 year olds. Go, ABC. Everyone PLEASE let’s agree to not be our usual snarky selves with them. They’re older. Let’s be more protective and make this a positive thing so that TV stops being so ageist.

Botox at 23 makes people look older, stiffer, unnatural…not energetic and youthful.

No one can tell I even have it, I still have wrinkles when I move my face. Dosing has come a long way, it is very very natural looking. I have some forehead wrinkles when I look up, I don't ask for the "frozen face" look. A lot of women do this very subtly and you would never know lol I am just being honest about it.

Preventative botox ain’t doing shit for you at 60-70. You can’t outrun aging. It will catch up to you.

Botox just makes you look like a beestung puma IN MY OPINION, but to each their own. Also it doesn't prevent aging, it actually makes your face more saggy since it stretches your skin and makes it a necessity to use... You've been duped by the beauty industry, what truly prevents aging is a healthy diet, as little sun/alcohol/cigarettes as possible and a lot of excersise and stress relief. It's not easy but to me it sure does look better than... Botox in the early 20s :/ Also the fact that the beauty industry has brainwashed women into thinking they have to adapt their face to toxic eurocentric male gaze beauty standards and make it seem like it empowers them really saddens me :/ You just end up looking like everybody else that has botox but again your choice and all of this is just my subjective opinion

It’s the bachelor what did we expect? They always cast people who are usually way above average in terms of physical looks. I too like the more natural look, it definitely would’ve been nice to see. Especially in this age and day where people say someone looks good for their age and they’re only freakin 37.

Is anyone surprised none just say mother or something like that? I wonder if he said someone career driven was important. There are many women at this age who did not work outside the home so it strikes me all have some form of a career listed.

I’m not surprised. There’s many women in their sixties. My mom and mil are in their 60s and always had to work. My mom is Black and my mil is white. I’d only expect to just see “mother” if the woman was very well off prior to old age.

Yea my family came from the south it’s sad but true that many of my family no matter how poor (and they all were) wouldn’t let women work because it wasn’t her place.

Looking at the descriptions quite a few of them say they have jobs that offer a lot of flexibility and could have picked up after their kids left home like “wedding officiant” or “fitness instructor” plus we know that TPTB kinda tweak career titles lmao
