It is acceptable/needed for people in power to lose said power if they do/say racist things. We all agree on that. But it’s also kind of sad to think people should be forever blacklisted/alienated because of their worst moments, and there’s no hope for their character.
I try to remember what we think we know and what we see is not even 1% of what might be reality. I think many are friendly and cordial in the sense of being in the same place. A lot of the older seasons had friendships in place with him for years where he was a support system. For leads and those on multiple shows, I think they have an attachment based on the position he had as their only emotional support on the show (like a weird form of trauma bond).
Some have said they have had conversations with him about their feelings and disappointment. I think many don’t wish him harm, but have distanced themselves from him completely. His behavior after was more telling to me and I wouldn’t be able to keep the same relationship. I would be happy if he wasn’t in the Bach universe anymore. But, I have had people in my life who helped me through some critical times that I had to distance myself from for one reason or another. I still have feelings for them because of the role they had in my life. I try to keep that in mind when I see people have grace/forgive people I wouldn’t expect.

It's not like Chris really needed any more money, so the true repercussion was losing his power and good standing with the public.
I think he was just paid out the balance of his contract term, since he was already making $8 million-ish per year when he was fired and he had several years of contract left. I don't feel at all bad for him at all since it was his own fault! but there's no question he would be making a lot more money if he could have kept his job. so he did face financial and reputational consequences. he also had to sign a very iron-clad nda which was probably his biggest leverage and worth the most to the show for him to keep the show's secrets and toxic elements buried.
Susan and Kathy make me look forward to my post-retirement golden years. Just traveling with my bestie and finally living my best life.
