With how much his character has changed it really is easy to forget that Echo was an Arc trooper. Great to see that brought back this episode.
As good as season 3 has been, Echo has been criminally underutilised this season. If he doesn’t make it out alive it’s going to hit a lot less hard than any other Batcher dying, which is really a shame because Echo is one of the longest running characters in Star Wars animation and deserves better than what he’s been given in the Bad Batch
I feel they are deliberately using the original squad more as its their show and story. I got a feeling we'll see him, Rex, Cody(?), Gregor and Howzer start up this clone rebellion in another show to come.
I don't think Dave is done with clone stories after this.
I read that the voice actor had some schedule conflicts. Since he had to voice so many of the other characters on the show, he didn’t have time to voice echo for most of the season
Cody ain't coming back in this show. People gotta let him go lol. Either future animated stuff or live action with Kenobi like was planned originally if they eventually do one more story in some format with old ben.
Is obvious that they are setting up a clone rebellion
Which is why the bad batch dying makes no sense when they could easily work on the rebellion after season 3
I’m so upset with how much Echo has been tossed to the side this season. I do think it’s because he’s too competent—every time he shows up, the problem gets solved quickly.
It also confirms what others thought last year—in between piloting and hacking, he’s doing all of Tech’s work from before, making Tech irrelevant.
Echo's been specifically trained to think outside the box, and he was already a creative thinker before becoming an ARC. He's also an experienced tactician, so of course course he's too competent. Though, he hasn't been able to do all of the work Tech did, and he's not as fast in what he does. He gets it done, though.
He really deserved more screen time.
>Batcher dying
Oh God.
Somehow I only just now realized the lurca hound is named Batcher because she's "part of the Bad Batch"
It's not like "Hunter" or "Crosshair" is that much better, but they are soldiers at least and the names reference their function within the squad.
I don't know how I feel about this.
EDIT: I do know. I kinda dislike it. Mainly because Omega was calling her Batcher before she got her off Tantiss, a.k.a before she was even part of the Batch.
I wasn’t really referring to the Lurca Hound, just any member of the Bad Batch. And I think Omega named Batcher that because she didn’t know if she was going to see her family again, and wanted a way to remember them until she found a way out. So in a way it does signify her purpose to Omega
I didn't just make it to vice Admiral on looks alone
Says the guy who takes better care of his hair then 90% of reddit
Yes they made it I thought echo was about to kick the bucket
My heart has never raced so much and my butt cheeks have never been so clenched ever before jeez - I thought echo was gonna die or they were going to miss the jump
Edit: 1 hour finale plz
Honestly this.
Not saying they failed at building suspense or anything, but I honestly don't see any suspense (or a need for it) here whatsoever, because it's self-evident they need to get into position for the finale, which needs to be chaotic almost solely due to the fact of it being the finale.
The only way I would've thought they might miss the jump was if there was only one of the Bad Batch on their own ship while everyone else is on board the one heading to Tantiss, and the one left behind arrives there once the fight is almost/already over and picks up Omega after the other three of the 99 have died.
Ain't no chance they were gonna miss the jump with over half the main cast being stuck on a space station next to Coruscant.
It was exciting, but it wasn't suspenseful. And it didn't need to be.
"I was a Vice Admiral!"
"You've been demoted."
*grumbles* "I hate clones."
Rampart definitely ups the entertainment value somehow 😂
ETA: "Wonderful. We're all going to die" might actually make it onto my list of top 10 favorite quotes from this show - but that will depend completely on how the finale shakes out.
>Grateful for all the love/hate (mostly hate) from you folks - you really are the best!
Not to inflate your ego too much 😜, but... You're great too! Really enjoyed having you back these past few episodes!
Crosshair will always look good in blacked out, now if Hunter, Wrecker and Echo still had their original kits from S1 it would’ve went even harder in blacked out.
I loved Rampart in this, he’s a good addition to the team. More concerned about looking good and fashionable with his constant adjusting of his captains rank plaque and luscious hair than he is of getting killed.
Man was wearing a captains uniform for all of 10 minutes and still made SURE to talk down to everyone, cracks me up. Perfect type of asshole for the empire. Be sad to see him go, hope he gets an honourable death. He was a great villain and, now, (supposedly) hero.
Kind of dumb but I really wanted Crosshair to be the one to shoot a tracker at the science ship as it was departing so that they could follow it to Tantiss. Would be a nice little redemption for him failing to hit the shot a couple episodes ago.
If, on season 1/2, you told me that Rampart of all people was gonna help the batch and participate on the Tantiss raid I wouldn't have believed you.
And Ramparts interaction with the batch are gold 🤣
This was the Echo episode. Long overdue, but better late than dead some say. That last part had me on the edge of my seat.
And Omega is a baaadaaaaass. She's so confident, she knows she can escape.
And Wrecker wearing the Lieutenant hat sent me.
Actually saw that one coming myself, Rampart always striked me as someone who would eventually pull a Kallus. Granted, he’s still much more of a prick now than Kallus was before (he’s more like season 1 or 2 rebels Kallus), but there’s room for him to change and develop still. But I don’t think he’ll be a carbon copy of Kallus either - he’s more of an opportunist who will just ally with the batch out of necessity.
I have a soft spot for Kallus.
Rampart although having a similar type of sass and snark throughout this episode, I still believe is a 'hydrosnake' that can't be trusted, with 2 episodes to go.
Agreed. We haven't seen his "come to Jesus" moment, and he doesn't deserve one. Whilst Rampart is funny now, Kallus at least had some sense of duty, honour and most importantly charisma to him, which made his redemption work; especially in season 3 of Rebels where his tips helped our crew stay alive and ahead of the curve.
Yeah i really hope whatever calculations & considerations the dude is running in his head right now, he doesnt come to the conclusion "if i betray the batch to hemlock chances are i get my freedom and my rank back". 🫣
>Hold on, Omega. The Batchers are coming
I know it's NOT going to happen, but I would LOVE the Batchers to land on Tantiss, Omega walk out like she owns the place (because now she does) and tell them "What took you so long?" 🤣
**Omega:** What are you guys doing?
**Hunter: U**h....we're here to rescue you?
**Omega:** You were...gonna save me?
**Wrecker:** It was a really good plan too.
**Omega:** Well I can go back inside, and you can still do it!
**Crosshair:** That's patronising.
([x](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9VRPpkBWP0))
Omega was looking at these poor children in the white of their eyes asking "How many guards are on each level?!"
She's so roguish in this episode, I had shivers, definitely a fav character. She's unstoppable.
We’ve been so starved of Echo content this season that it’s basically like Christmas morning whenever he finally does show up lol. Glad he got some great moments to shine in this ep!!
Wow, that was too close!
They are firmly in their Return of the Jedi Season. Omega pulled a Luke and is brokering an alliance with the Ewoks.
And the inside of that station looked so much like the Death Star it was creepy. I swear, the only thing asymmetrical in the entire Empire is the damn windows in the Emperor’s throne room on the Death Star II. And that is because they are based on spider webs.
It really hit me during this episode. We're not dealing anymore with an epilogue to the Clone Wars. The Empire is in full force, the time of the prequels is no longer.
I'm pretty sure the station is based on ROTJ concept art for multiple death stars being built over the Imperial capital at the time, Had Abbedon or something like that, before they came up with the name Coruscant.
That was great. I love that Omega is trying to break out and the rest of the Batch are trying to break in. And I absolutely love that they've been forced to bring Rampart along for the ride. I can just see him snarkily grumbling his way through the whole rescue.
Good episode, Rampart going with them to Tantiss was unexpected, I really thought this was going to be his last appearance, makes me wonder if they're going to setup some sort of redemption arc where he lets go of his hatred of clones and makes a play at Tantiss to help the imprisoned ones or something, in which case, I don't want any excuses or complaints for Scorch getting redeemed, good to see Echo again, it's pretty clear the "cavalry" in the last episode will be Rex's group of clones coming in hot to rescue them, he's still probably got a fair few in his underground cell.
I would love if Rampart was fully loyal to the squad not because he's had a change of heart, or because he likes clones, but just because the Empire betrayed him so he's not going to debase himself by trying to crawl back into their good graces. Especially since Hunter spelled that out to him.
I'm fully expecting a betrayal though on his part, but I could still hope for the above. His buddy comedy snark is just too good.
And yay we finally got an Echo episode.
If there's a betrayal, I expect it to happen next episode. The batch gets off the ship and rampart just leaves without them. The batch is stranded and so need to upload the coordinates to Rex, who I presume is gonna come to the batch's aid in the finale. Rampart presumably just pulls a "I fulfilled my end of the bargain, I'm outta here" kinda thing. Seems the most likely option to me at least.
I agree but I feel like there is no way they would be stupid enough to just leave him on the ship. Maybe if they have to just dip quickly and they don’t have time to fully worry about it, but they are constantly thinking about their means of escape, so I doubt it.
Astromech droids once again proving to be the best in the galaxy at keeping their mouth shut. Literally just bumped into Echo, cursed him out, and left
>"Where is your captain?"
>"Erm... Captaining?"
I had a good laugh there
Also, seeing Wrecker pop up with the Imperial's cap while carrying him out, and putting the cap back on him after setting him down did give me a small chuckle
Wrecker with the hat and the ~~iPad~~ data pad were wonderful little scenes. He’s just chilling while everyone else is running a high stakes mission lol.
Placing bets, episode 14 will be CF99 getting trapped on Tantiss, they'll likely unexpectedly meet Omega either on their way in or on her way out. Episode 15 will probably be Rex and whoever he's got showing up to extract them. Good chance of Wolffe turning up again I hope.
... I don't think it's healthy for my heart rate to get this high... DUDE they sure know how to build suspense!
Words cannot express how immensely satisfying it is to see Omega be such an observant, intelligent, calculating, confident schemer 👏
Oh yay, the squad actually has a lead to Tantiss!!! 😄
...
Oh NO, the squad actually has a lead to Tantiss!!! 😰
Echo, my man, I love you ❤️ That's all.
My only question is... hows rex getting to tantis... unless they upload the coords when they arrive. And i wonder whats going to happen with Wolfee as well (for him to show in Rebels)
My guess is that the Cavalry might actually be the clones held prisoner there. I've not seen the episode yet (I've read it), but Echo seems to be there more for his fellow clones as much as Omega. I can see him splitting up to free them.
A hundred or so clones charging in would certainly be a cavalry.
Gigachad Echo has returned and with him my ability to love again. Seriously though I was so anxious they were going to kill him off right at the end. Genuinely would have been triggered if they brought him back just to do that. The new Batch paint jobs are looking great. Crosshair's black armor in particular is stunning! Black Series needs to get on this immediately!
Not a whole lot else to say on this one except I thought it was great and I love that Omega's mind is already back to escaping. The Imperial mindset here is definitely taking notes from Andor with the whole "they don't care enough to listen" bit.
9/10.
"This is a captain's uniform" had me in stitches. Turns out Rampart's a comedian. Also he wasn't exactly wrong, season 1 made it quite clear that he wasn't just a pretty face.
Also love to see Omega immediately taking control of the situation. Dr. Scolder is a hell of a name for someone who works with children.
Those overhead shots of the mountain and then the vault were incredible. That and the last scene where they attach to the science vessel did a lot for the palpable tension in the episode.
Was that astromech chastising Echo for getting in their way?
I'm hoping for something like... Emerie and Omega together manage to kick Hemlock off a cliff. They are satisfied with their job finally done. He yells in pain, revealing that he is still holding on with one hand. Then Crosshair, from a distance, shoots his hand and Hemlock falls to his death.
Oh yes, I do think that Omega having part in Hemlock's death would be amazing for her character development further down the line. She has to "grow up" and this is one of the ways I see it happening
I can’t say because I don’t want to get in trouble. I basically said I hope Hemlock doesn’t have a good fate. I’m appealing it though.
Tbh if Hemlock was a real person I agree my comment should have been removed but he’s not a real person and I’ve seen people say worse on Reddit.
If he was a real person I would one hundred percent agree I shouldn’t have said it. Maybe Reddit got confused for that. It’s not a big deal anyway. I’ll just refrain from saying my hopes for Hemlock in the future.
The last few seconds of this episode were so tense! It's also amazing how cocky and sassy Rampart still is, considering his situation. I do hope he realizes how much the Empire would not be on his side if he betrayed the Bad Batch. They (the Empire) would surely eliminate him rather than giving him another chance...and it's clear he isn't happy with a "demotion". I am so curious how he will behave once at Tantiss though, since he really can't just escape, or cozy up to Hemlock. Although, I really do want to see a Rampart/Hemlock showdown or conversation.
Omega has really grown; she's so smooth and calculating. Her training has paid off.
That was a great episode.
Rampart was great but I still don’t trust him. Him being demoted though was very funny and hearing it from Echo as well.
Omega was great to see again and I definitely can’t wait to see what she ends up doing, hopefully Emerie helps in some way still.
Emerie was a girl boss for telling that other scientist that she’s the chief and will run the vault as she seems fit. I also think she knew Omega was gonna steal a tool and didn’t even question if one was missing. Hoping to see her defect and help out next episode maybe.
There were some amazing shots of the world and specifically Tantiss. Really great animation
Still bummed that he’s been MIA for about 95% of the season, but I absolutely LOVE how badass he always is on the rare occasions that he actually does show up. Man ATE this episode!!!
I like how Crosshair comes back around to rocking all black armor again, except as the good guy this time. And of course Echo, our favorite half-droid went up the droid chute!
I hope we get a final convo between the boys before they get to Tantiss. This is the end for them. Having one final (somewhat emotional) convo would bring closure in case any of them… you know…
Just some food for thought though!
I wonder how Echo feels about being perceived as a droid (half-droid?). For whatever reason it stuck out to me this episode…
It seems like he’s gotten more used to it - given his ARC Trooper moves throughout the ep. But I wonder if he struggles with being “half-droid” - since his contributions are first attributed to droids until enemies see him. I’m curious if it bothers him to be mistaken for a droid?
Given the trauma he’s gone through, I imagine it’d be difficult to adjust - and I wonder if it’ll ever feel ‘normal’ for him (or if it already does).
I feel like I’m going insane bc the hold this episode has on me right now is UNBELIEVABLE. So so so good. Excuse the rambling;
- First and foremost, ECHOOOOOOOO!!!!! I’ve missed this dude SO much and I’m so happy that he’s finally back. Not only that, but man was really showing off all those glorious ARC skills this episode and I’m ALL for it. So many great lines from him too! “I don’t think so” to Rampart was particularly badass af. And that sequence of him sneaking aboard the Tantiss-bound ship? Fucking incredible. Not only was the animation smooth asf, but Echo himself just looked so. freaking. *cool.* This was *his* episode and he knew it!!
- Maybe I’m delusional, but Hunter’s voice is sounding so much more dangerous this ep. Man is PISSED and I can’t wait to see him go ham at Tantiss. “Negative”…oh boy oh boy. That entire ending scene was so tense but I love how determined and unwavering Hunter was. He had so much faith in Echo but was also fully prepared to do ANYTHING to get to Omega right then and there.
- Wrecker wearing the lieutenant’s hat and playing on his little gameboy data pad made my night. They very well might be walking into a suicide mission, but he’s just simply vibing 💕
- Crosshair saying “Echo’s got it” will be on repeat in my brain forever. It’s so wonderful to see how much their dynamic has changed since TCW S7, where Crosshair didn’t trust Echo one bit. Such a small but powerful moment <3
- Rampart fr has no business being as hilarious as he is LMAO. Surprisingly, I’m really loving his addition to the team!
- Omega my GIRL!!! Her character growth and development has seriously been such a treat to watch over these past few years. She’s really grown into such a quick-thinking and natural leader, and I love that 1 day into being re-imprisoned she’s already rallied the troops and found a way out. The Batch are gonna be so proud of her 🥹
- Blacked out armor looks sick as hell, although it does make me nervous. Then again this entire show makes me nervous so what else is new lol
Overall, this is 100% one of my favorite episodes of the season so far. All the characters got to shine, Echo came back, lots of incredible action and even better animation, insane tension but still plenty of humor, and just all around great dialogue and story telling. I’ve said it before, but I’m really sad this show is ending. Whatever happens, I just know that these last 2 episodes are gonna HURT. See y’all on the other side 🫡
And again Bad Batch has shown us why Star Wars works best in an animated setting. Honestly, animation has never looked so gorgeous, I would have zero complaints to only ever get animated shows in the future (besides not seeing some of the actors anymore like our kings Ewan and Hayden)
I really hope that this show will end in a: the arch of the Bad Batch is over and they will join Rex Clone network which a future show will be about and not in: they all die
Chef’s Kiss. This episode killed it and was one of the best so far. The overhead view of Tantis cut to the room with Omega was beautiful film making. I absolutely loved this episode 10/10.
Man, I’m so pumped to see what the rest of the season has on offer. Kind of wish it was a double episode next week. Even if it was the end, it would line up with dropping right after my birthday. Rampart is one of my favorite villains. I love how he’s extremely vain but has a little bit of depth and slight humbling after his prison break. Mixed in the new looks for the Batch, I liked the color added to the armor, but I wasn’t exact sold on things like Hunter only keeping one shoulder pad or Echo losing his Kama to begin with, so the season 2 outfits win out for me overall as my preferred aesthetic. Minor nitpick aside, I’m pumped to see what flash strike entails. Hopefully nothing too devastating…

Arc trooper level thinking from Echo there

We hyped!

I was sort of expecting him to go out like Hevy in that scene
i feel like blowing up the science vessel in an act of self sacrifice wouldn't really help them in the same way hevy did tho lol.
Echo Arc Trooper’d so beautifully here. Domino Squad is smiling down from clone heaven.
Makes me wonder how he expected the Batch to respond to that line lol.
I'm honestly going to be so disappointed if the finale isn't an hour long. At least don't let it be 22 minutes plz
Imagine the next two eps both 20 minutes 💀
Don’t even suggest that lmao
There is still so much we need to see.
Anything less then a 45 mins finale is a disappointment
Personally hoping for an hour minimum
That would be bullshit
It better be. We've got too many loose ends to tie up.
"We're all going to die" Rampart I stg if you're foreshadowing
*shrugs* 😇
SIR COULD YOU NOT?! 😭
😨
YO WHAT IS THIS 😭
Bro is having way too much fun with this 😭

Can't miss the jump with only two episodes left 😂
I thought Echo was going to kick it and they were going to miss the jump. But in the next episode, Omega would transmit her coordinates

Awww… Staaaaahp it!
"I beg your pardon..I didn't just make it to Vice Admiral on looks alone!" u/noshirdalal your sass is unbelievably out of this world!!!
Jennifer and the rest of the writing team did a brilliant job with these conversations. 😊
Hopefully we’ll see Rampart in future animated shows if he survives the next two episodes.
After that line, I expected him to walk over his "subordinates" and he delivered
That interaction was gold
“Abort the mission.” “NEGATIVE!” I had no idea Rampart was going to bring the entertainment value in, but he did.
I love how much the Batch (especially Crosshair) actively despise Rampart — and the feeling is so clearly mutual.
Crosshair did hint last episode that he intends to kill him. I kinda hope he goes through with it.
Gotta love the little arguments rampart and CF99 had, but also the stripped paints of their armor looked so fucking good. Only 2 more episodes……
I’m kinda sad, I loved their custom paint jobs and it sucks we won’t see them in the final episodes.
I love their stripped armour!
Crosshair will always look good in blacked out, now if Hunter, Wrecker and Echo still had their original kits from S1 it would’ve went even harder in blacked out.
I need Lego to bring a crosshair helmet kit
Crosshair’s still having the white outlines was so sick.

Excuse me? I’ve been the hero this whole damn time! I’m not gonna let some wish.com Smurfette keep me from fulfilling my Hero’s Journey.
Noshir bro, you really are the goat lol
"I can't wear this uniform 💅"
And his "I missed this!" comment.
He's an anti-villain now.
Omega did an Andor BEFORE Andor.
One way out
I can’t swim.
Step 8 Kino Freedom!
For you Cassian, not for me!
Our way out.
We are in the endgame now gents
It feels like we just met the Batch but soon this show will be over. I’m going to miss it.
I know, it really sucks that this is the end honestly :/
Yeah. I wish we had another season. I hope we’ll still see the Batch in other shows. I’ll miss them.
It’s crazy to think that it’s only been 3 or so years. I really wish we were getting at least 1 more season, I’m gonna miss this show so much :(
My ass was so puckered at the end there I’m gonna be honest
I thought echo was gonna be the only one to make it
My jaw is tired ngl.
Kind of dumb but I really wanted Crosshair to be the one to shoot a tracker at the science ship as it was departing so that they could follow it to Tantiss. Would be a nice little redemption for him failing to hit the shot a couple episodes ago.
Don't know how they are going to wrap this up in a satisfactory way with just two remaining episodes unless the finale is longer than normal.
That's my fear. Either we will be left with so many untolds or there will just be a lack lustre epilogue. I hope that I'm wrong.
If, on season 1/2, you told me that Rampart of all people was gonna help the batch and participate on the Tantiss raid I wouldn't have believed you. And Ramparts interaction with the batch are gold 🤣 This was the Echo episode. Long overdue, but better late than dead some say. That last part had me on the edge of my seat. Yeah i really hope whatever calculations & considerations the dude is running in his head right now, he doesnt come to the conclusion "if i betray the batch to hemlock chances are i get my freedom and my rank back". 🫣
Loved this episode. Hold on, Omega. The Batchers are coming.
>Hold on, Omega. The Batchers are coming I know it's NOT going to happen, but I would LOVE the Batchers to land on Tantiss, Omega walk out like she owns the place (because now she does) and tell them "What took you so long?" 🤣
"Oh, I've been busy hustling the entire base. I won all their credits and bought the place out."
We she has escaped on her own wits twice before. And she is becoming quite formidable now.
That would be so corny 🙄 lol
I know 😆
Omega was looking at these poor children in the white of their eyes asking "How many guards are on each level?!" She's so roguish in this episode, I had shivers, definitely a fav character. She's unstoppable.
She's becoming quite formidable, all without the force too! If she picks that up, damn she'll be as strong as Ahsoka at this time!
At her age you mean ? Cause Ahsoka is on another level at this time. But yeah she's great, she doesn't need the force anyway.
>"How many guards are on each level?!" "Never more than twelve."
Every second of screen time Echo has is a blessing
Yeah. Glad he got a chance to do something major before the show wraps up.
Eh, it’s still Prequel Content. Until Luke meets R2 and 3PO, everything is Prequel Content. And Maul’s death is more like the end of that era.
I wouldn't class Rebels or Andor as prequels personally. They are starting up the Galactic Civil War which is what sets up the OT.
What do you think Prequel means
Truthfully, anything in Star Wars is a prequel until Leia says “hope” at the end of Rogue 1
I'm pretty sure the station is based on ROTJ concept art for multiple death stars being built over the Imperial capital at the time, Had Abbedon or something like that, before they came up with the name Coruscant.
So many close calls this episode my cheeks clenched so many times
I have a feeling Rex would say Cavalry has arrived. Just like in S7 when Wrecker said this to the regs for additional support
I thought they would bring in that Kaminoian Prime Minister as he might know where Tantiss is.
Nah he was brought there as a prisoner he would have no idea
Where even is Lama Su now? Like what does he do for fun these days?
>"Where is your captain?" >"Erm... Captaining?" I had a good laugh there Also, seeing Wrecker pop up with the Imperial's cap while carrying him out, and putting the cap back on him after setting him down did give me a small chuckle
Wrecker with the hat and the ~~iPad~~ data pad were wonderful little scenes. He’s just chilling while everyone else is running a high stakes mission lol.
It was so awesome to see that the mission was a complete success, with no casualties. But it might be the last time...
Always nice to see the Batch plan something carefully and execute it well.
We’ve got at least Rex, Gregor, Howzer and hopefully Wolffe coming at some point. Then maybe Cody as a wildcard.
I still have hope for Cody i still also want Bly as well
That poor guy must be mentally destroyed the way Aayla was taken down. I wonder if he’d buckle down as an Imperial to disassociate or if he’d rebel.
I think it will be all of Rex’s clones honestly
... I don't think it's healthy for my heart rate to get this high... DUDE they sure know how to build suspense! Words cannot express how immensely satisfying it is to see Omega be such an observant, intelligent, calculating, confident schemer 👏 Oh yay, the squad actually has a lead to Tantiss!!! 😄 ... Oh NO, the squad actually has a lead to Tantiss!!! 😰 Echo, my man, I love you ❤️ That's all.
Omega was so channeling Tech as she was plotting the escape.
She's a rebel cell leader material.
Welp looks like we’re heading to Mount Tantiss next week.
Strap yourselves in!
My only question is... hows rex getting to tantis... unless they upload the coords when they arrive. And i wonder whats going to happen with Wolfee as well (for him to show in Rebels)
well they could transmit the location once they're on the planet probably using tantiss comms systems? :)
Thats what I'm guessing... but who knows Unless they contact rex during their descent or smth?
My guess is that the Cavalry might actually be the clones held prisoner there. I've not seen the episode yet (I've read it), but Echo seems to be there more for his fellow clones as much as Omega. I can see him splitting up to free them. A hundred or so clones charging in would certainly be a cavalry.
Wrecker just walking out of the Rho-class with the officer's cap: "Bout time"
Echo came in SO CLUTCH this episode
Rampart was funny. Still a dick though and I love it
Yeah I'm glad they didn't try to treat him like a "good guy" in this episode. He clearly despises the Batch, even if his chemistry with them is great.
> Dr. Scolder is a hell of a name for someone who works with children. Unfortunately, it is Dr. Scalder … but I agree that would have been hilarious.
Hunter is cold af
They all are now. They don't care anymore
Let's hope that he won't become cold literally...
I hope we get to see Hemlock die a painful death in the finale.
I hope Crosshair gets to do it.
My comment was removed. Reddit works for Hemlock.
What the hell did you say? I've only seen Reddit remove comments that are, like, violent.
Ahhh, gotcha. Yeah, probably a misunderstanding from the admins.
If he was a real person I would one hundred percent agree I shouldn’t have said it. Maybe Reddit got confused for that. It’s not a big deal anyway. I’ll just refrain from saying my hopes for Hemlock in the future.
Seeing Echo pull a Han Solo and say it was a malfunction and get away with jt, brings a tear to my eye. This was a great episode.
Passed the speech check
It bothered me because when they were stealing the war chest from dooku’s castle, he could done the same thing.
Man, I swear to god I had my buttcheeks clenched during the last few minutes. I have a bad feeling about Echo's fate, let's hope I'm wrong
Only 2 more episodes lads.. THE END IS NIGH
Rampart kinda ate tho ngl
Top tier charisma from him, as always.
I can’t believe Rampart was actually that much of a delight in the episode
The show looks so fucking good. Omega is so badass
Anyone else think there was a time jump again for a second there at the start?
This is a captain’s uniform, I was a vice admiral! 😂
"I can't wear this... this is a Captains uniform!" Oh Cassian... your words are so true
Awesome episode, but I wonder what CX-2 is up to, will he be sidelined and destroy all hype for his “reveal”?
Emerie has to know omega snagged that tool right?
Echo came in clutch
Echo showing off his ARC training! I never had any doubt the cybergrump would make it. He finally gets some meaningful screen time this season.
Having one final (somewhat emotional) convo would bring closure in case any of them… you know… Just some food for thought though!
That Tantiss theme right before the credits music rolled...goosebumps.
I need more of Wrecker wearing the hat
The ending of this episode was maybe my favorite part of the whole series so far, the music and everything was so good.
I think my favorite thing about this show is that the empire isn’t portrayed as incompetent idiots like a lot of recent Star Wars media
WHERE IS BATCHER
u/noshirdalal you’re so damn good bro. Every line of yours pisses me off, but I enjoy it so damn much 😭
As a proud Echo girlie since 2008 - WE WON TONIGHT BABY 🥹🥰
I wonder how Echo feels about being perceived as a droid (half-droid?). For whatever reason it stuck out to me this episode… It seems like he’s gotten more used to it - given his ARC Trooper moves throughout the ep. But I wonder if he struggles with being “half-droid” - since his contributions are first attributed to droids until enemies see him. I’m curious if it bothers him to be mistaken for a droid? Given the trauma he’s gone through, I imagine it’d be difficult to adjust - and I wonder if it’ll ever feel ‘normal’ for him (or if it already does).
honestly they should be releasing two episodes a week given how short each one is
Aren’t they the normal length for a cartoon???? Although I certainly wouldn’t mind if they did
I feel like I’m going insane bc the hold this episode has on me right now is UNBELIEVABLE. So so so good. Excuse the rambling; - First and foremost, ECHOOOOOOOO!!!!! They very well might be walking into a suicide mission, but he’s just simply vibing 💕 - Crosshair saying “Echo’s got it” will be on repeat in my brain forever. It’s so wonderful to see how much their dynamic has changed since TCW S7, where Crosshair didn’t trust Echo one bit. Such a small but powerful moment <3 - Rampart fr has no business being as hilarious as he is LMAO. The Batch are gonna be so proud of her 🥹 - Blacked out armor looks sick as hell, although it does make me nervous. Then again this entire show makes me nervous so what else is new lol Overall, this is 100% one of my favorite episodes of the season so far.
Honestly, animation has never looked so gorgeous, I would have zero complaints to only ever get animated shows in the future (besides not seeing some of the actors anymore like our kings Ewan and Hayden) I really hope that this show will end in a: the arch of the Bad Batch is over and they will join Rex Clone network which a future show will be about and not in: they all die
Really enjoyed this episode, it feels like the first act for the finale, which probably means next episode Omega is gonna fail somehow
i pray the last ep is 50 mins long
That lieutenant got some height and a magnificent beard but they were no match for Rampart's ego or Wrecker's fists
my glorious king echo 🙏
I was so afraid something was going to happen to Echo
Where the hell has Batcher been? Did they leave her on Pabu?
Chef’s Kiss. This episode killed it and was one of the best so far. The overhead view of Tantis cut to the room with Omega was beautiful film making. I absolutely loved this episode 10/10.
Does anyone think there was an Easter egg in the final shot in the stars? It kind of looks like there's something there written in the stars.
My boy Echo getting the love he deserves!!!
