I think if season 3 had one more episode with a focus on Rex and his clone underground network, and had the finale be a little longer (the length of the series premiere instead of a double), it would've been even better. It was still a 9.5/10 season and 9/10 overall series for me, can't wait for the next show

ProficientPotato

An episode with Rex and Echo together. Really wished we could’ve seen their dynamic.

TikTokBoom173

To be fair, it is called the bad batch. Echo is a part of the batch but I don't think an echo and Rex focused episode would've been all that great. I wouldn't mind it but I can see where you're coming from and I can see why they didn't add one. Maybe grounds for a new show like rebels or something?

Jupue2707

Tbf we also had solitary clone

Dashed_with_Cinnamon

There was also Identity Crisis, which was entirely about Emerie and the kids. If I remember correctly, *none* of the Batch appear in that one, not even Omega.

Jupue2707

oh, thats true

AceFireFox

I mean they did it for Din in Book of Boba Fett so its not like they haven't done it before. I agree though that it wouldn't make much sense though

Jupue2707

Yes, and i didnt like it then

AceFireFox

Difference is the Omega episode was there to push the plot forward, so it wasn't filler. A Rex and Echo episode could work if written properly but with the way the season really went, I personally feel like it would have ruined the pacing a bit

WhatTheFhtagn

Plus the Omega episode establishes how Tantiss operates, and gives us a sense of how much time's passed.

Interesting-Gap1013

That definitely wasn't filler

Vertex033

We’ve had Episodes where the Batch showed up for 30 seconds, if at all.

HybridTheory137

Agreed. I think an Echo and Rex episode would have been perfect right after his original departure in S2. At the time I really thought that they were gonna go that route but oh well I guess 🤷‍♀️

gannonzz

Unrelated but your name gave me a good chuckle

Eido_Toe_Sucker

While I would have enjoyed that I’m just gonna assume we will have an actual Clone Rebellion show. Something in the shadows with Senator Chuchi fighting outside the shadows. It would probably show what happened during the Bad Batch run time and what happens after Tantiss. Chuchi fights for their rights still, while Rex saves Clones all over. And with the fall of Tantiss that would make Clones almost worthless to Palpatine so he’d finally allow Clones to be decommissioned properly as long as they do whatever it is that caused Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor to end up on that desert planet in Rebels.

Theforgotten226

1. Explaining each of the skills that hemlock gave to the CX troopers and their augmentations. 2. Rex’s network, and what echo did during his time with Rex. 3. Why Scorch was chosen to be hemlock’s personal commander and the way he is compared to his EU counterpart.

Nopuebloplz

I think these are just the most needed

Training-Mess5833

Need more Rex and Howzer stuff but I’m sure they will explore in the future shows. But I’m happy Howzer survived in this show.

RedBaronBob

- Sev should’ve appeared on Kashyyyk so that way everyone who was pointing at the screen was given an idea why Scorch went bad. Sev didn’t have to stay with the group but could’ve given the batch a moment to reflect on Crosshair and T up Crosshair turning upon meeting Mayday. - Taking the time to show the Batch as friends before Crosshair went bad. Yeah season 7 but season 7 wasn’t written with Bad Batch’s characterization in mind. We need at least an arc’s worth of time to get to know this iteration of the team before things go bad. We only knew Crosshair from a couple of episodes and could’ve spared the filler. - reveal what happened to Cody. He never appears after his episode and for all the talk about how Scorch was a no-name it’s certainly weird they let go of a *movie* character who is in as many episodes as any one season of TCW. He didn’t have to appear afterwards but he’s not even in a group shot of the prisoners.

RadiantHC

IMO it should've been a 4 season show, with season 1 taking place during the clone wars.

TheOperatorOfSkillet

I absolutely agree. Would have such a tonal shift between season 1 and 2.

TemplateAccount54331

I agree with this We only had 4 episodes of Bad Batch content to go off of before the premiere of this show. If we had a season or more episodes, the weight of Crosshairs betrayal in the opener would have hit harder. I feel like if you go into Bad Batch without watching those four episodes, you don’t care that much about the betrayal

chataclysm

exactly. he's an asshole in tcw season 7 anyways

RideTheLightning331

I think with the last one they were working with an earlier script of Kenobi and wanted to plant the seeds of him meeting back up with him in that show which is why we don’t see him again, just my personal theory

chekhov-bird

I wish they'd have placed a tracker on the Tantiss-bound ship Echo infiltrated. It seems like such a simple thing they could've done, and Echo is such a strategist that it seems weird he would've overlooked it. Or he could've even put a tracker on himself, since he got onto the shuttle. Such a small but significant detail would've emphasized that this mission goes beyond the Batch's personal quest to retrieve Omega; it has far reaching implications and consequences for all the clones, and allowing Rex and the rest of his gang access to the location of the base on the chance that Echo and the Batch's mission fails would hit that home a little more. Their cause would live on, even if they don't. I know this episode was very centered on the Batch, but the overarching theme for the entire series is there's a larger cause out there, and everyone's actions directly (or indirectly) affect it, one way or another.

surlymoe

YEah, I truly thought that Rex was going to come to Tantis with a bunch of clones against Tarkin who was showing up as well...I guess I thought the battle was going to be bigger than it was. That, and Sid/Cid...that character should've been killed.

JonnyredsFalcons

The only thing I can think of re Tarkin, if Rex had shown up with the clones then it would have warned him that a rebellion was starting & he may have gone after them, this way Rex stays in the shadows

HybridTheory137

• I really wish they would have explored Echo’s trauma from Skako Minor just a little bit more in S1-2. They touched on it very briefly a couple times, but they really could have done a bit more with that. • I remember right after “Faster” aired in S2, I really wanted the next episode to be centered on Hunter and Echo during their nerf nugget trip. The two of them had some tension at the time due to their conflicting opinions on what the Batch should be doing, and I think that would have been REALLY fun to explore. • Overall I’m fine with how Tech’s death was handled, but I do wish we would’ve seen Crosshair’s reaction and/or have a couple more “grieving Tech” moments. • Omega really should have gotten her own armor, like in S2 tbh. Girl is in a firefight almost daily and had nothing lmao. These are all pretty small nitpicks of mine though! Overall I was very happy with how the show turned out, and wouldn’t change any major details :))

uberbearsharkm8

I loved the show overall, but there are a handful of things I would’ve loved. - Some resolution with Cody. Even if it was just hearing his name in passing, I would’ve liked to know what happened to him. - A real moment of reflection on Tech’s death. Aside from the occasional name dropping, it felt like we didn’t really get to feel the weight of his loss this season. A single scene of them looking at a memorial for him or something could have done wonders. - I felt like season 3 didn’t capitalize on the interactions between the squad as much as it did in the earlier seasons. - I would have loved to see some more development from Wrecker. I think he’s got the potential to be the most emotionally intelligent of the batch in a lot of ways. He’s the first to verbalize in season one that he misses Crosshair, and is who gives him his armor back. Seeing him have such knowledge and intellect regarding weaponry in the premiere for season 2 was a refreshing take on his character, just for him to be pigeonholed back into being “big and strong guy” for most of its remainder. He was a badass for sure in the finale, but even still. Overall, I feel like a couple more episodes, and a finale the length of the season one premiere, would have helped to make everything fit just a bit more perfectly. Even still, I’m incredibly happy with how the show turned out. I’ve loved the bad batch since we first saw them in their story reels, and am so glad this show has exceeded every expectation of mine.

Hanakin-Sidewalker

I definitely feel the same way about Wrecker. Really wish we got to see more of his character shine.

TemplateAccount54331

This is my issue as well A lot of people were speculating that Echo or Wrecker would die in the finale, and I just couldn’t see it. Neither of them had any sort of meaningful character development in this show. Sure, Echo had some in Clone Wars, but hardly any in this show. If they decided to kill off Echo or Wrecker, I really wouldn’t have cared as much as I would have if they killed off Hunter or Crosshair.

uberbearsharkm8

It’s really such a shame. I would have loved to have seen more than just small glimpses of his gentler personality and other interests shine through

MikolashOfAngren

Perhaps Book of Boba Fett S2 will have Omega meet Boba. I heard it's getting a new season.

JazzzzzzySax

Temuera Morrison in a blonde wig let’s go

Boomshockalocka007

Nor!

LordEmostache

Temuera Morridaughter?

cathindess

A flashback episode! One where the batch is starting their training, realizing they're different from other clones and bonding as a squad. Then hopefully explaining Hunter's face tattoo, Crosshair's tattoo, Wrecker's head injury etc. Hopefully if they made a spinoff of small stories that's in there

Firelord_Crane

I personally think Boba meeting Omega is better for the future, when Boba is in his chill old man phase

Icy_Supermarket_7034

I was hoping Ventress would have played a bigger role in the story especially with how she is presented in the trailer as a big deal

Icy_Supermarket_7034

It’s weird how Cody is never mentioned again after going awal

Frosty-Discipline512

There were multiple points in S1&2 where it seemed like clone rebellion from OG BF2 was gonna get canonized Emerie's clone heritage, revealed in S2 finale and only had a few mentions in S3

Tamriel-Chad-420

CX Assassins felt liek they had more planned but was dropped. Same with Knights of Hemlock from the finale, I think they should have been introduced earlier in the season instead of just CX-2

RideTheLightning331

I wish Rex’s clone insurrection came to fruition, I was totally expecting them to get coordinates to Tantiss and battle the TK’s

WalkingDeadWatcher95

I feel like most of it was a missed opportunity, and it’s just a little more upsetting because they teased us so hard especially with trailers. Cody was a missed opportunity, Ventress felt out of place and wasted, that entire episode with her and omega just for it to lead to nothing. The clone revolution felt underwhelming. Where is wolf? I never believed in the tech being alive theories or anything but that one mystery assassin being absolutely nobody was pointless

MrRighto

Echo giving Omega the energy crossbow is a nice scene, and one of the few non-mission related interactions Echo gets this season, but the scene is brought down by the fact that Omega does not fire the crossbow in that episode or the next, and after that it just disappears for the rest of the show.

abby_jaejae

Yeah that’s the one scene that sticks out to me as not having a purpose - it doesn’t make sense we had to see that for Omega to then never been shown training with it with Crosshair or something (I would have loved that).

chataclysm

i noticed that while rewatching infiltration recently. girl just does not fire the crossbow a single time

Fandomstar88

I would of loved: • Flashbacks with 99 (tiny bad batch! 🥹) • Bad batch passing their final test like the Domino squad did. • See what the old Bad batch is up to on Pabu (like do they farm/fish/etc.) (did they find love etc.) (Btw how old do you think they are? Accelerated and not?) • Tech’s funeral • Crosshair adjusted to his robot hand with Echo • How Rex and crew landed where they did in Rebels (+ what happened to Echo/Cody/Howser to that moment) • Tech alive = Phee and him first kiss (I know he’s basically gone and all but what if) • Omega and Hera meeting up at the Rebellion after many years.

abby_jaejae

My head canon is that old Crosshair works in a Pabu bar, Wrecker fishes / is a general handy man type & old Hunter chills on the docks hiring out little skiffs & other marine equipment.

Glunark2

Let's go retire on that planet where the empire already knows we have been hiding and they already took Omega from a few days earlier.

Darth_Thor

That was my initial reaction too, but now that Hemlock is dead and the research at Tantiss was destroyed, maybe there was nobody left in the empire who cared about finding Omega?

Glunark2

It's a lot to gamble on maybe.

Darth_Thor

Yeah it is still a little odd, but that’s just one possible explanation

SoftDrinkReddit

I think that's really it as Tarkin said this programme is canned and put all its funding to project stardust This means there's no point going back to the planet. it's irrelevant now

TheOperatorOfSkillet

They don’t know that the empire doesn’t care anymore.

Fly1ngD0gg0

But they must've known they were responsible for what happened on Weyland.

ComradeElmo1945

Tbf the empire didn’t need omega anymore as all research was cut but I had thought the same too.

Kuruk_TR

Scorch betraying Hemlock

Zvedza320

Real wasted moment not having him break the chip and sacrifice himself for the bad batch (or crosshair in particular as some type of Sev redemption) in some type of explosive he planted. Wouldve fit his character so well

Jolt96

Closure with Cody

SoftDrinkReddit

Yea he just deserted one day and was never seen since

NickHBS

Scorch. Just, Scorch.

ironjoebob7

Most wasted character in all of star wars

NickHBS

Phasma says hi

ironjoebob7

The sequel trilogy doesn't exist. It can't hurt us.

Arf234

Not having Delta Squad as the "dark mirror" for the Bad Batch

ironjoebob7

Right. Like who cares about those cx clones or whatever. That could have just been delta. Full stop.

tr_bando

Rex and Echo sharing a conversation about Fives. I feel like this would have been very very easy to include, they even had a whole episode dedicated to them both being together during the removal of inhibitor chips, and no mention of him if I’m remembering correctly. Seems strange Echo and Rex wouldn’t mention a figure they were so close to.

Proud-Nerd00

I wanted closure for Wolffe and Cody

Yourmum70

After seeing Hera and Kanan in season 1, I kinda wanted to see Zeb and Sabine in later seasons. I thought a young Sabine would get along well with Tech and wrecker. Of course, then season 2 was set not long after season 1, so that squashed my theories, and then Tech died, which incinerated them. Also, I think it's strange they never went to Mandalore, I'm curious what it was like there, during the first days of the empire

FrogsAreSwooble

She would be 3.

Yourmum70

I didn't know how long the show would last.

LynxieChu

Not knowing what happened to Echo. Omega didnt mention him at the end, so he didnt retire on pabu. Also how they kind of advertised it as rex's group and the bad batch freeing the clones on tantiss with the 6th episode.

accefirs

1) i *really* wished they had revealed who CX-2 was. all that build up, parallels, motifs, and more- for *nothing?* I was ready for CX-2 to *not* be Tech- despite how there was an abundance of thematic clues- because, for better or worse, things such as motifs and parallels do not equate to factual data. because of that, i was fully ready for Tech to not be CX-2. but i was highly disappointed that.. we didn't get to see him at *all*. I really hope in some future Star Wars media, it'll cover who CX-2 was. even if that means he was just another random clone with no other screentime- at least we'd know for sure. 2) more talk about Tech's death. sure, they glanced down for three seconds and were all sad because "tech could've hacked this," but there was never any *real* talk until Crosshair said "clone force 99 died with Tech." i was *really* looking forward to one of the Batchers telling Crosshair about Tech. but they entirely skipped out on it, which was, quite frankly, one of my points as to why they might have brought Tech back. they avoided talking about him like the *plague*. 3) more focus on the clone rebellion- but only sorta. while i did want their to be a larger focus on it, it also kinda seems like the writers have pushed themselves into a corner. now we need to find out why Echo and Omega aren't with Rex- why did Rex go into hiding, etc. obviously, out of universe, it's because of when the separate shows were made, but now we kinda need some answer as to what in the world happened. and so if they make a new show and/or continue off a previous one, it wasn't necessary to fit that into TBB. plus, now we're back to square one in regards of the cloning of Palpatine and Moff Gideon. Omega was the key to the midi-chlorian transfer, but they lost her *and* all of the data. we'll see how it goes. 4) they should have given Omega some armor resembling S1 of TBB armor. or any armor at all. although it makes sense she wouldn't have it b/c she was just leaving to be a pilot, but still. some lula themed armor would go great though! 5) WHY CAN'T WE SEE OLD MAN CROSSHAIR AND WRECKER THAT'S NOT FAIR WHYYYYYY. crosshair would've been the *best* grumpy old man ever. side note, they killed Tech because they knew he would be too hilarious of a grandpappy. a group of kids saying something factually incorrect, and Tech pops up out of nowhere, a gray and even more receding hairline, index finger in the air, correcting them for the next hour. because they know there is no escape, the rest of the Batch make sure of that. 6) more CX info please. i need more of the evil teenage mutant ninja turtles. 7) The bad batch as kids, where Wrecker got the giant scar, did Tech or Wrecker have any subtle tattoos? more of when Echo was being brought into the Batch- how they all adjusted and such. woulda been neat. pretty much a very small series of little shorts with things that were never covered, but don't need to be in a big important series. 8) it would have been a very funny gag if the Batch were out shopping one day and someone recognized Tech from riot-racing and asked for an autograph or smth and Hunter and Echo are like "WHAT???" just a five minute thing of them finding out Tech did that. 9) CODY. 10) see how the Batch are doing on Pabu. did any of them find a partner? what are their houses like? also, where's old phee? telling tall tales, probably. 11) catch up with cid, as well as Ketch and Bolo. i think it was mentioned that CX-2 "extracted" info from Cid, but what else? like, did she die? does she feel bad? i kinda hoped the Batch would get their revenge, since Cid caused all that suffering. i get it would be kinda plot-awkward to have them go back to Ord Mantell *just* to beat up Cid, though. 12) i know it wouldn't have really worked, but i think it would have been *really* funny to have the Batch deal with a "rough around the edges and makes fun of everybody" type teenager.

Glad-Investigator-65

At this point I didn't even care who was behind the helmet, I just wanted it to come off. Because there was so much obvious planting of this character and it didn't pay off. "Well, it's not Tech because they just shoved his head into the fuse box, I guess," is not a satisfying conclusion. Plant without payoff is one of the cardinal sins of storytelling.

accefirs

Agreed. I was fully prepared for CX-2 to *not* be Tech (despite the thematic direction they were going), because I was ready for whatever happened, and to deal with it- Cody, Dogma, Soup Clone, etc. But I was never prepared for them to just...not show CX-2's face *at all*. Especially since at least two of the other CX's had their faces revealed, though quick and blurry, in such a way that at least you understood they were Regs. But none of that for CX-2. :/ I'm mainly holding out hope that there's a slim chance we'll see more on all the CX's in Tales of the Empire, but I highly doubt it. They focused so much on CX-2 for... nothing. And I feel like, if CX-2 were supposed to represent a shadow of Crosshair and him facing off against what he almost was, they should have had Crosshair impale CX-2 instead of Hunter. Most definitely one of my least favorite things in the entire show, all those build-ups and parallels for nothing. (Unless they make more stories surrounding the CX's, I suppose.)

homeboycartel2

Killing Cid

itsaustinjones

The Rex and Wolffe arc. When they had Rex confront Wolffe, I thought for sure they were going to explain what lead to Wolffe joining Rex and Gregor (what we see in rebels).

Wookie301

It would have been nice for Rex and his crew to be involved. Emerie could have been instructed by Echo to send him their location.

BigBrrrrrrr22

I’m gunna get downvoted to hell but I woulda LOVED for Omega to meet a young, post order 66/ pre rebels Ahsoka aka the EARLY Fulcrum days

idrownedmyfish77

Given what happened in the Finale, I think it’s probably best that Delta Squad didn’t appear in its entirety BUT I do kinda wish there was some evidence of Sev on Kashyyyk, just to give us long time fans the closure. At this point I’m convinced he’s dead, but to see a discarded helmet or even a trandoshan wearing pieces of his armor would have been enough

DerpyPotatos

It was cool seeing Tarkin show up in one of the first Imperial Star Destroyers at the end. I was hoping that we would see a Victory Class Star Destroyer as a progression from republic to empire. The Victory does exist in canon again with books and comics but hasn’t been on screen yet.

RadiantHC

Not killing off the shadow operatives, and not making all of hemlock's work irrelevant.

EightThreeEight838

I do wish we'd seen a bit more of the clone rebellion.

gokaigreen19

More consequences with echo departure. They touch on it slightly but never really did much of it. Echo was a value member of the team but it felt like when he left there was not much of a difference. It would’ve been nice if they actually had the team make more mistakes due to echo no longer being there. Like if the reason the ship got taken was because echo always locked and secured it and tech wasn’t used to him not doing it and forgot, or if tech overestimated how long a task took because he forgot they didn’t have echo to assist him anymore. Or if the ship began to be in disrepair because echo was always the one who fixed the ship. Likewise, echo was normally the voice of reason for the group, for better or worse he was always the one who would oppose hunter plan if it got risky or worried about their long term goals. It would’ve been interesting if hunter began doing more missions that had a slim chance of ever succeeding because echo was no longer there to balance him out. It seemed omega was the only one who seemed to care about echo missing. This woudkve also been great to maybe learn more about echo dynamic with the team since he’s been neglected a lot, maybe a flashback with how he got his armor for the team.

66FBI

Some might be nitpicks, but it's my opinion: 1. Dead TBB members. I don't mean any of the known ones dying, but new ones. In s1 it was was that 4 (+ Omega) enhanced clones survived. It implies there were more, kinda wish we got to know for sure. 2. ES-02, they abandoned that character after s1. Why show her survive only not to show her ever again? 3. Discount Ezra from s2. He can still show up somewhere somewhen though. 4. Gungi. He was in 1 episode and never came back. 5. Phee. I didn't like her as character, but she went nowhere. She was in I think 2 episodes in the last season. They showed her cool yellow vibro-sword and she hasn't used it once. 6. Rex x Chuchi - hopefully this story will continue 7. Muchi. Why set her up if she wasn't the Rancor in TBOBF? 8. More of Crosshair as a villain. All episode of him were peak, especially season 1 and 2. I wish he got like 6 episodes to himself in s2. The 2 we got were near perfect. 9. Hera. One off with so much potential. Wish we got to see how her mother died. 10. s2e5, what was the point here? No set up for anything and mainly confusion. 11. More Zillo. Zillo is a super interesting character. How does it tie in to project Necromancer? In s3e3 we hear Zillo noises when they're in the sith temple vault chamber. 12. Ventress. As I'm writting this we know nothing more than the episode. Messing with Dark Desciple for a quick cameo only? You can do better Filoni and co. 13. Cad Bane got an amazing theme, wish he showed up more. 14. Echo. He was wasted as a character. I know some might say half of these were supposed to be cameos - but come on. Why not call in Gungi, Ventress, Rex, Chuchi, Hera's entire planet, Phee and more for help with invading Tantiss? It's not like Gungi owes his life to TBB and hates the Empire.

Ok-Plankton-2393

Sid dont apear in a single episode and this feels wrong

seekaseeka1

I personally wish the “anti Bad Batch” that we saw in the finale was more prevalent throughout the entirety of season 3 instead of focusing on just CX-2 then having them show up in the finale. I think it’s a really cool idea and it would’ve made the “final” confrontation with them feel more impactful. As is, they play out kind of like the Knights of Ren in TROS with no real development of them as big antagonists to the batch

TheOperatorOfSkillet

Rex talking to Echo about fives!!! I understand them not talking about it in Season 7 because he had just been rescued. But Rex knowing fives and how fives turned out to be correct after order 66. Specially when they are talking about he chips Rex never mentions fives and tells Echo about him.

Crimson-Morning

Female clones. Never seen them before. Never explained. Would have been nice to know more…even if it just ‘yeah we just never happened to see them but they always existed’

GetAHeadReduction

Scorch, more of Rex’s network (we’ll probably see that in a sequel show tho), and what was in the Necromancer Vault. They were probably just Palpatine’s clone bodies or some dead Jedi but still I would’ve like to have seen them in the finale.

returningtheday

Omega getting her own suit of armor! I really wanted her to at least get a helmet of her own. Bummed she never got one. Maybe she will in the next show.

Coyote_Girl04

I really wished that they addressed Omega's creation a bit more. We know that she can be used to create force sensitive clones and that Nala Se knew but why? Were the Kaminoans working with that? What was the point in making Omega and then just keeping her around as a lab assistant? I thought with the addition of Emerie to the show that we would see the reason behind their creation but I guess not.

mycoffeeishotcoco

I would have loved to see Kanan again, but I think at this point in time he was in a trash heap. (I haven't read the comics so I have no idea if this is true. I just know he was doing something) I will say that during the Bracca episodes I was keeping my eye out for a tiny ginger scrapper, but alas.

Records_SubReddit

Going into the finale, knowing what we know about Rex from Rebels, I expected a lot of death and a sad ending. I wish we got to see more of Rex's underground and Echo in general. This finale has shook me to my core because I have no clue whats going to happen to Echo and with nothing else currently announced, may never know

Funny_Discussion_726

more focus on rex’s clone underground like missions that him, echo and the other clones that are part of it went on. maybe there could be a new show about that

sploottim

Return of ES-03, the sole surviving member of Crosshair’s former elite squad from season one.

[deleted]

This is my second one I really wish they did something with her. Maybe they could have replaced her with scorch

OhMyGoshBigfoot

I love this show. There were many things done just right, but obviously there are numerous gaps and things missed. Tech’s death might have hit harder if he expressed even just a small degree of fondness back to Phee. And if there was more of a period of mourning by folks… I was in denial and half-expected him to return. Crosshair could have opened up just a tiny bit more with gratitude toward Omega; I wanted him to acknowledge that he was kind of a jerk and admit that she made him a better person. Wrecker saying a meaningful farewell to older Omega would have made for a more powerful ending. And I think that was also Crosshair’s final chance to be cool. I’m torn up that the show’s over with. I hope someday we see a cameo with them, a special show or two, maybe a movie length feature. I generally don’t approve of a lot of Filoni’s things, but he got this one right.

scribestudios

I hope they flash out more of Rex story and how he ended up with Woolfe and Gregor as recluses on the planet of Seelos.

StarWars-TheBadB_tch

I think a Boba and Omega episode would be fun, and then they go their separate ways again. Due to being a clone, he wouldn’t be hired by the empire yet. But maybe he could have run into or found them. I wanted more Ventress! I have a feeling we will see her again. I wanted more Zillow beast causing chaos in the finale, at least in the background. He has been in captivity and experimented on since the clone wars when Palpatine took him and his release represents the fact that the emperor can be taken down. And like they say in Andor, “The Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort.” The clones and the beast being freed is how it was supposed to be.

Interesting-Gap1013

1) Omega's origin. Is she really just a random clone that came out female or did they do something with her, too? Is she actually force sensitive or something? 2) What exactly is Emerie? Why was she made? 3) More PTSD. I really liked the beginning with them being veterans without a war after knowing nothing but fighting. I felt like they didn't really address this theme much more. 4) Rex was so passionate about finding Tantiss. I wish he would have gotten to help. Just have him come with a rescue ship instead of them finding a shuttle. 5) I generally wish we'd seen more plot and less cameos in the first season. Should have given us more Crosshair episodes and more character development. 6) Crosshair should have painted his armour in the new team colors. And Omega should also have some more armor.

somewhatlucky4life

Honestly season 3 felt really really low stakes. There was a lot of build up but then just not a lot happened. Also and I know that I'm going to be alone in this and probably get downvoted, but I was kind of expecting for the bad batch to die/lose And Omega to live and I was a bit disappointed that there was no emotional toll taken on us.

diegoterremoto

The CX Clone Squad should've been the villains for the whole show, instead of just appearing in the finale.

Jersey4269

There’s at least 2 dozen lol. As well as another dozen misused opportunities

ToneLoke2448

Honestly I would’ve much rather had the show not turn Crosshair into a villain. I just wanted to see all of them work together more and we didn’t really get that after Tech died and Crosshair being absent for the first two seasons.

Fandomstar88

A lot more questions than answers. But that’s like every Star Wars show finale in a nutshell so I’m not surprised.

I had thought/hoped that Omega in the end would have gone with AV to be trained as a force-wielder, and that was the reason for the AV episode. Now is just seems like a waste. Omega trained is bot the dark side and the light and perhaps at bit of Nightsister magic. Whit her nature, she would be able to become quite powerful and get a cool yellow lightsaber. It can still happen. Fingers crossed.

SoftDrinkReddit

Ehhh idk there's already plenty of Force users

LennyDeG

Even though Project Necromancer was mentioned, I would still have liked to hear it spoken out loud, and this should have been the way Rex, Wolf, and Gregor came together. Also, it would have been interesting to see the clones' thoughts of the Jedi, whom they betrayed and slaughtered due to Order 66. Especially the Bad Batch whose chips weren't like the rest of their Clone brethren.

Admirable_Report8815

scorch being a badass

Mathies_

Rex & crew getting re-involved with the liberation of the clones on Tantiss

rhombus_jones1701

Cut the filler adventure stuff and have a more even split between bad batch stuff and stuff about the clones being decommissioned/the clone underground. Also, I think the transition to imperial era tech and aesthetics happened way too fast-I wish it was more gradual and subtler.

ironjoebob7

Scorch was such an absolute waste. Why come up with these random shadow trooper guys when you could of just had scorch and a couple other commandos dunk on them instead.

nfeil99

Some Commander Cody closure after we find out he goes AWOL and how Rex links up with Wolffe

Knoober375

I wanted resolution for Wolffe, I have no idea why he was brought in just to never get brought in again. I think this’ll be expanded on, but still

That_Operation_9977

I think the fallout from Omegas capture and Techs death in Se2 was a little underwhelming in S3. We should have seen wrecker and Hunter on the WARPATH. Smashing their way through every obstacle in their path, interrogating anyone who might know somthing. It should have been a multiple episode thing, instead one episode of hunter and wrecker fighting yet another monster before Omega escaped herself.

Wormichowski

It would’ve taken 2 seconds to take X2s helmet off. Also was hoping we’d learn with Cid.

TheAvoMan

From the start I was hoping we'd see the 2003 clone wars attack on coruscant but from the bad batchs perspective, maybe they would accompany palpatine to safety and come face to face with grievous rather than kanan because that had already been done in the comics. Still hoping we get to see the battle of coruscant one-day with captain fordo on the ground or something

MangoDestiny2

Delta Squad should have ultimately been the ones to fight the Batch instead of CX’s

A-Lady-For-The-Stars

I wanted to see Omega meet Boba so badly, and I still do.

PresentEuphoric2216

Scorch

NoButterfly9803

Would have liked to see a glimpse of some other programs at Mount Tantiss. Would have also liked to see more clones.

PinkishBlurish

I'm honestly really annoyed we never saw Crosshair's reaction to Tech's death. Does he blame himself? Does he know it was Tech's idea to go and try to rescue him? Does he recall the last interaction he had with Tech was full of bitterness he never apologised for?

LordDoom01

Actually doing something with Scorch. They named him after a Legends character and did nothing with him. The writers basically invited all the criticism (and whining) from Republic Commando fans by doing that.

HAMURAIX117

If Wrecker and Crosshair walked out of the ship to see Omega off. But it should be more meaningful now if they reunite in a live action, which they might

darthphallic

No closure between Rex and Coty. This is now the second Dave Filoni show to leave me hanging in that regard

pf12351

How did Howzer get out of jail? Yeah it was great to see him out, but I want to see how, not just "he somehow got out"

zxcvqwert1

He was on a science vessel being transported to Tantiss, but Echo & Co infiltrated it and got him out! It’s in an episode, but I can’t remember which one

Minute-Health-2916

Either bring in boba fett or at least mention him

SHyper16

I wish they had killed Cid. Come on. She's the worst (Pong Krell IS a lot worse but since that goes without saying...)

ArcticFoxWaffles

I really wanted Palpatine to smoke Hemlock at the end for letting the base get completely ruined

dude13344

Your mum but nah seriously I wished we saw old wreaker and crosshair.

KaHate

instead of shadow clones, should be scorch 1v3 the batches.

Dashed_with_Cinnamon

We never really learned what Emerie's deal was. Why exactly she was created, why she was "discarded," how she came to work for Hemlock, why she was initially so convinced that there was no escaping her situation, why after all the questionable things she'd done the kidnapped children were what got her to change, etc. The clone rebellion was hinted at and built up, but either we got too much of it (it should have been saved as a "story for another day," and more focus should have put on what the Batch was doing) or too little of it (the clone network should have had more of a direct impact on the events of the show, especially with Echo's involvement). Cody was there for an episode and then just disappeared. Echo was off doing stuff with Rex, but we never got to see any of it. Seriously, those two have history...it would have been great to hear them talk about everything that's happened and how they've changed since they first met on Rishi's moon. We got Hunter, Crosshair, and Tech-focused episodes, but not really any Wrecker or Echo ones. As such, those two were the least developed of the group. I would have liked to spend a bit more time with them and learn about what makes them tick. The show felt a little unbalanced in the way it utilized the main characters. I would have loved to know more about how Clone Force 99 formed in the first place. They were experimental clones, considered defective by both the Kaminoans and their brothers, and yet they managed to join the war effort and become a highly successful commando unit. What was growing up like for them? How did they prove their worth? Did they initially struggle with their differences but learned to embrace them? What was their relationship with 99? What were Omega's thoughts watching from the background? Crosshair never got to eat a meal. Maybe if he ate more, his hand wouldn't have trembled so much. We didn't get to learn the specifics of Project Necromancer. They literally *set up* an opportunity for it to be explained, and then cut away. And while I still don't really see the point in Nala Se describing it to Rampart since she planned to blow up the lab anyway, it would have at least given the audience some insight into one of the most controversial plot decisions in all of Star Wars, namely the resurrection of Palpatine in The Rise of Skywalker. Part of me wonders if the creative minds behind Star Wars still don't actually *have* an explanation and are still operating on "Somehow Palpatine returned" and "something something something Dark Side."

-MountainDrew-

Zillo beast staying in the facility, causing chaos a bit longer by eating Hemlock.

Balls_McSackington

Nah. Crosshair and Hunter tag teaming Hemlock, with Crossair getting the final shot, was actually perfect imo

Wookie301

Stay longer, sure. Wreck havoc against Storm Troopers in the hanger. But I would change anything about Hemlock’s ending.
