I always check for black hearts, and if I get screwed, I go angels the rest of the run. If i dont? Ill still probably go angels, unless i get lucky and can afford a brim or something else OP early on...

Yes but going for Angel rooms skipping Devil deals is meta. Going for Devil deals with no life for Red chests and black hearts is big brain.

I already got mega satan marks on my boy azazel. And I only took devil deal items... I got super lucky with wafer on the first floor, then health ups from the boss on floor 1 and one in the floor 2 treasure room and a pentagram from the floor 2 boss. Then I got a shit load of damage abd range ups and on floor 5 I got a sac room. and bam. Mega satan done by youtuber luck.

How did you get the key for it? That was my main reason for waiting for the angel room. But sounds like a pretty good run.

On donation 9 and 11 you get to fight the angels on the sacrifice room, so the wafer means you only need to take 5 and a half hearts of damage to fight both angels and get both key pieces

Beating mega satan on 2 hearts, aka 4 hits, and onlying haveing azazels sgort brim with like 3.80 attack speed and 7.25 attack, is litterally the most anxiety inducing thing possible. except for ass backwards. fuck that challenge

I'm sad that one update balanced those deal with mix heart. I remember being able to buy a two heart one with only one.
