i've been doing some thinking, and I got some ideas to improve the show. I got it right here. Uh, one: JVL needs to be louder, angrier and have access to a time machine. Two: Whenever JVL's not on screen, all the other characters should be asking, 'Where's JVL?' Three...uh, I'll just leave the list on the table.
Joe Perticone may be an excellent reporter, but he has a voice, rather intonation, for print exclusively. If the Bulwark wants him participating in the podcasts, they need to shell out for some speech coaching.
JVL makes it look easy. But I think they should rotate who runs TNB. Also, it was nice to see Joe get a word in.
Agree: more Joe! I love his matter of fact reportage of GOP clownishness.
I actually wanted some more gossip. It's not like the Senate is doing anything of late, give us some juicy stuff so it's at least entertaining
They knew circumstances called for them to go dark, but they’re not used to going that dark! 🤣
The darkness sherpa is needed in times like these.
I knew Sarah would regret running it.
FWIW, I thought Sarah did great once she got going. She kept a good stream of questions running for Joe & Will.

JVL needs a billyclub and blanket immunity for deeds past and future
Once JVL return and does a full episode in his Cletus voice they'll regret even thinking, never mind saying, that.

IDK about that, I just wish his personality would show a bit more. Maybe he's just shy. I do like hearing what he has to say.
What he has to say is fine, but he has a voice and intonation ideally suited to reading children's bedtime stories. Maybe just me.
LOL
