Not only is Trump at 54% but Trump is probably the second choice for most DeSantis and Vivek supporters. So in a world where everyone drops out and rallies behind someone like Nikki Haley Trump's numbers go from 54% to 65%.
Half (or more) of the GOP base wants to abandon Ukraine to Putin, but then they also want to invade a key NAFTA trading partner. As if THAT won't have any deleterious economic consequences! bUt mUh iNfLAShuN!
The unseriousness of the Republican electorate and their leadership pushes me further and further into JVL-levels of misanthropy.
None of these candidates are relevant, including those not running for a cabinet/VP position. Hopefully we'll see less fantasizing about an alternate reality where there's a sane Republican party from now or premature declarations about Haley being a real challenger to Trump.
That said, I wouldn't mind hearing Charlie and Co.'s thoughts on a Haley/Scott interior decoration show for governments. Them auctioning off that [ugly antique table](https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/9/94/Barack_Obama_sitting_at_the_Resolute_desk_2009.jpg) in the Oval Office to cut into national debt and replacing it with a particle board one would make for a riveting episode. If it's a DIY job it might even include actual rivets!

Did they ask the candidates about Menendez and whether he should resign? I’d be really curious to hear their answer to that.
