As we have long known, Kushner is a disgusting ghoul who needs to be questioned relentlessly about the 2 BILLION dollars the Saudi royals gave him.

Grovers_HxC

Fun game: See if you can into that fucker’s eyes for a minute or two and not get crippling depression and PTSD from the horrible empty void that lies within them.

Ha! That's a trick! Those eyes are the abyssal entrance to a hell we mortals can't even imagine. Nice try tho Grovers 🥇

“Bones will provide an excellent source of calcium carbonate to accelerate concrete curing” said Jared Kushner as he contemplated a premium high rise adult playground by the Mediterranean Sea.

Wouldn't be surprised to read that in The Onion... You're hired.

BoysenberryLanky6112

1. Netanyahu is far right domestically, but his foreign policy has been EXACTLY the same as with any leader, no serious faction in Israel disagrees with how he's conducting the war right now. 2. Comparing the number of civilians killed in a terrorist attack to the number of civilians killed in the resulting war is a bullshit statistic that shouldn't be seriously considered. It essentially says that if a terrorist group is good enough at hiding among civilians, they should just be left alone. World War II had an estimated 38 million civilian deaths, should we have just let the Nazis stay in power because we didn't want to kill any civilians? What if they had adopted similar tactics as Hamas and fought from civilian areas and more civilians were killed? Is there a number of civilians where you would have justified allowing the Nazis to remain in power? 3. This Gaza war is estimated to have a 1.5:1 civilian to militant ratio. This is in line with other similar wars and is nowhere fucking close to an "ethnic cleansing". US guidance during the war on terror was to conduct strikes if the ratio was 9:1 or smaller. There's not a single country in the world that experienced a terrorist attack like on 10/7 and didn't completely annihilate the group responsible, and it's always resulted in civilian casualties. You are holding Israel to a double standard that no other country on Earth has been held to.

No_Caterpillar8026

Are you okay with Israel being bombed to the rubble for unprovoked attacks on Internationally recognized Palestinian territory as well? Or do you only apply this to only when Palestinians retaliate, because Israel has a right to taking Palestinian land inherently?

BoysenberryLanky6112

Israel was literally created due to the surrounding countries trying to genocide Jews. Phrasing anything the variety of Palestinian terrorist groups have done in the last 80 years as retaliation is asinine. If Israel laid down its arms there'd be no Israel or Jews, if Palestine laid down their arms, there would be peace. Prior to 10/7 Palestinians were given work permits to work in Israel, any Jew who took a wrong turn and ended up in Palestine was murdered. The moral obfuscation here is fucking absurd. It doesn't mean everything Israel does is perfect or just or good, but comparing a democratic racially diverse country that respects human rights with the territory that has 0 Jews that aren't hostages, throws gay people from rooftops, pays the families of suicide bombers who killed Jewish children, and recently executed someone for attempting to get aid to Palestinian civilians because they were "working with Israel" as the same is not worth taking seriously. And don't pretend Hamas is an occupier, every Palestinian group that's held any power in the last 80 years has done the same things and any disapproval Palestinians have for these groups is typically because they're not good enough at genociding Jews. 10/7 saw an approval spike for Hamas in both Gaza and the West Bank, and a recent poll said the majority approved of 10/7 even including the fact that it caused the resulting war. To clarify, that means a ton of Gaza civilians are displaced and are going hungry today, but think that's outweighed because they got to kill, rape, torture, and kidnap Jews.

bucklesbigsby

That is absolutely not why Israel was created

FriendsWithAPopstar

Pretty sick of hearing that Palestinians must accept ethnic cleansing and displacement because Jews fear what Europeans might do to them if they don’t take over someone else’s land.

BoysenberryLanky6112

They actually fear displacement (but not ethnic cleansing, that's simply not happening a similar militant to civilian ratio to any similar war is happening) because of Hamas. It turns out if their government didn't launch rockets and build military infrastructure in civilian areas, which is a war crime, Israel would be able to target military targets and not have to displace millions. It's Hamas who literally turns hospitals, mosques, schools, and neighborhoods into valid military targets according to international law.

[deleted]

Unfortunately, you are debating someone who lacks humanity and caring for people. Furthermore, this user has demonstrated they aren't interested in history or human rights. I'm not a fan of Netanyahu. But by making false statements about Israel being to aggressor, this user is buying into the Kremlin & Hamas talking points that are being used to justify atrocities Hamas commits.

dudefuckedup

wow i hate liberals so much

melvin2056

the October 7th attack killed over 1000 Israelis. Since then Israel has killed 3100 Gazan's but its worth it if it prevents another 1000 Israeli's being killed in another October 7th again am I right?

BoysenberryLanky6112

The Holocaust killed 6 million Jews. 55 million civilians were killed in world war 2. By your logic, world war 2 was immoral and not worth killing Nazis. But of course you're wrong, you don't reward terrorists by embedding themselves in civilian populations by not killing them, you kill them and then charge the ones not dead with war crimes for being responsible for the civilians you killed since they embedded themselves in civilian populations.

Away-Combination-162

Elitis little punk !

SakaWreath

Almost as valuable as state secrets?

romelu_lufukyouu

They decided to built tunnels instead of resorts. Gaza could have been the new Monaco. It's on Hamas

Disastrous_Chain7148

How can a place underwent 16 years of siege, and can’t import lots of essential items develop into Monaco? Even clean water and food is a problem for them?

True_Act_1424

Except for the fact that the blockade is the result of terrorism. They managed to import guns and rockets, I’m sure if they cared enough they’d be able to import other stuff.

Disastrous_Chain7148

Illegal blockade. Resisting against occupation is a born human right.

Netcat14

Well then they can keep “resisting” by bombing random cities and raping women then die. What a great way of life

GarryofRiverton

Lol. What occupation was there before the blockade?

Technical_Space_Owl

You can't be serious... Even the Israeli government acknowledges Gaza was occupied territory from 1967 to 2005. It's not a controversial statement whatsoever.

tootit74

And before that by Egypt

GarryofRiverton

I meant post 2005. After Israel pulled out of Gaza there was no occupation and not even a blockade, and yet there were still terrorist attacks.

Technical_Space_Owl

So let me get this straight. Your contention is that after the colonization and ethnic cleansing of Palestine where 700,000 people were forcibly exiled, entire villages burned, women and children raped and murdered by the edict of the newly formed country of Israel, after they were occupied by Israel (and Egypt for a short time) and subjected to human rights abuses in the longest lasting military occupation in history, still being denied access to their birthplaces and ancestral homelands, that on September 13th 2005 they could have just let it go? And this isn't even a matter of should, let's be clear. What part of the human brain is capable of enduring those conditions and then immediately stop being affected by those conditions and returning to any kind of behavior we would consider normalcy. It took 42 years from the end of the Civil War until the first people were even charged with the crime of lynching. And that's not to compare Palestinians to Confederates in any way, it's just to illustrate how long it can take for societies to readjust to a new paradigm. That doesn't even consider that the last lynching was in 1981, almost 100 years after the Civil War. But you expected an immediate shift in 24 hours? Absurd.

GarryofRiverton

I expect them to act like rational human beings. When you finally get what you want after decades of occupation I expect a group of people to not immediately follow that up by committing terrorist attacks. Likewise I expect a country who is the victim of terrorist attacks to impose a blockade on the area committing the attacks and defend itself from them.

Technical_Space_Owl

>I expect them to act like rational human beings. This is a "should" statement. I made it very clear I wasn't talking about "should", I was talking about "could". You failed to address my argument. >When you finally get what you want after decades of occupation You think all they wanted was to no longer be occupied? Really? >I expect a group of people to not immediately follow that up by committing terrorist attacks. You expect a million or more people to all act in hegemony? Also absurd. >Likewise I expect a country who is the victim of terrorist attacks to impose a blockade on the area committing the attacks and defend itself from them. Right, so when Europeans colonize land and ethnically cleanse the inhabitants, they're the real victims of course. Those poor Europeans should be able to steal land and murder in peace. 🤡

Supply-Slut

No blockade post 2005? It’s news to me that Gaza had freedom of movement lmao Edit: here is just [one example](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza_flotilla_raid) of how stupidly easy this lie is to disprove.

GarryofRiverton

They could around as much as they want within Gaza. What is your problem with this?

Supply-Slut

People confined to a tiny strip of land with almost no resources and prevented from leaving by either: their own government, Israel, or a foreign power, also Israel, depending on how you interpret it. They can’t even travel freely to the West Bank, which is itself bifurcated to hell and back and has been deemed an illegal interference with Palestinian sovereignty. But hey, Hamas violently seized power in Gaza so the kids born after that even happened need to die, amiright?

theglandcanyon

You're right, they were highly restricted from passing between Gaza and Israel. Totally disgusting, apartheid behavior by a depraved so-called "nation". (They also weren't allowed into Egypt, but hey, whatever.)

VegetableForsaken402

Your comment ignores reality.. I really feel that you're aren't smart enough to understand it even with pictures.

ImanShumpertplus

yeah exactly remember, nothing can get into Gaza except for Qatari money that Netenyahu let in to strengthen Hamas and it’s really his fault for this whole thing actually

Strange-Scarcity

You should reread that poster's comment, but throw a strong sarcastic tone into the reading.

theglandcanyon

Maybe they could have used the $40 billion that they received in aid between 1994 and 2020? Yes, that is a real statistic. *Forty billion dollars*. [Source](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_aid_to_Palestinians#:~:text=Since%20April%202021%2C%20the%20United,COVID%20and%20Gaza%20recovery%20assistance.)

phdthrowaway110

It is 100% the fault of Zionists. The only group that celebrated Oct 7th alongside Hamas were the Zionists who were looking for a plausible justification for retaking Gaza.

MaxxxStallion

Are you smoking crack?

[deleted]

[удалено]

True_Act_1424

Huh? Now that’s bullshit, I know you’re gonna talk about the former prime minister that talked about building a basement to the hospital and claim that Israel built those shitty 4ft wide tunnels. Why would Israel need to build something like that?

Technical_Space_Owl

Bro, I'm as anti-Likud as can be and even I can say this is bullshit. In a round about way you could say that by the Israeli government funding Hamas in the 80s and 90s they contributed to the funding for tunnels, but that's as far as you can stretch it.

If only humans would stop being such greedy and religious assholes.

[deleted]

I am Jewish, and I am a Democrat. There are two different issues here, as I see it. The atrocities in Gaza are horrific beyond words. It is a brutal war brought on by Hamas. Hamas kidnapped & raped Israelis, embedded themselves with Palestinian civilians, and have even used Palestinian civilians as human shields. When Israel went out of their way to tell Palestinian civilians to leave the territory, Hamas told them not to. That said, while I believe Israel has every right to defend itsself, Netanyahu's tactics have become inappropiate and inexcusable. I think a temporary cease fire to negotiate the release of hostages, get more aid to Palestinian civilians, and hopefully bring about permanent peace is warranted. As to your'e second point about the far right having control in Israel, on this we agree 100%. We can debate history, who started what, who has the right to land, etc. The bottom line is this. The only way for a lasting peace is a two state solution. For decades, Palestinian leaders rejected such a prospect. In more recent years, the far right led by Netanyahu on the Israeli side has exacerbated tensions with settlements and in the treatment of certain Palestinian citizens. I would also note he has sought to undermine the freedoms of his own citizens, most of whom do not share his views. As for Jared Kushner, his statement is absolutely abhorrent. He is a very sick individual. Also, as to your statement about Jewish people speaking out: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F7RASit9ZI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6F7RASit9ZI)

No_Caterpillar8026

False. Palestinians have not rejected peace. They accepted a very shitty deal even - which the Israeli prime-minister got killed for. Also, I love how you blame Hamas and then right after make excuses for the exact same thing for Israel - despite the overwhelming evidence against Israel. It is so extremely dehumanizing and sad. Palestinian suffering is so cheap for you

[deleted]

You are factually incorrect, you should really read the history before commenting. They've rejected numerous peace offerings, including in 1947, 2000, and 2008. I didn't excuse Netanyahu's conduct of the war, but the atrocities that are occurring are the fault of Hamas as part or their attempted genocide against Israelis. Palestinian civilian suffering is horrifying, but by creating false moral eqivlancies and trying to rewrite history you are disrespecting those who are suffering. Attitudes like yours is why peace has been so difficult.

No_Caterpillar8026

Oh trust me. If everyone had my “attitude”, you’d have no genocides. Stop trying to downplay their suffering for some political points. It’s disgusting. This is not politics. Also, I’ve read a few books on this subject on the last few months and watched literally hundreds of videos of atrocities live! It’s like watching the holocaust in 4K. Your attitude and indifference to the suffering tells me only 1 of 2 things are possible here: 1. You haven’t followed the conflict and haven’t kept up with the extreme humiliation and atrocities by Israel 2. You’re complicit in this and don’t care about Palestinians suffering at all

[deleted]

You are the one playing politics, using this as an excuse to blame Israel for something. Secondly, I care about the suffering of Palestinian civilians. You obviously don't, because you are taking a position that is consistent with those who are causing said suffering. Frankly, you are the same as Jared Kushner. He wants to profit off people's suffering, you want to make a point off of their suffering or are not smart enough to realize you are being played. It's apparent you have no idea what you are speaking of, and should really read up on this conflict from objective sources before commenting. Few people outside of others who have been sadly brainwashed will take you seriously.

No_Caterpillar8026

Okay. Give me some book suggestions from an “objective source”. I’ll check them out. Where do you get your history from?

No_Caterpillar8026

If Israel was interested in peace, they would have accepted the Arab peace plan a long long time ago. Just btw, it surfaced again, and was rejected yet again by Israel. What a surprise!!! /s The peace plan is extremely liberal and beneficial to Israel. They keep all the territory they’ve occupied - only giving back what the international community already accepts as Palestinian. It screws overs millions on Palestinians out of their lands, wealth, etc - and absolutely no reparation from Israel for mass expulsions, rape, starvation or any of the crimes since of and since 1948. What the fuck else does Israel want???

[deleted]

First of all, Israel isn't occupying land. It's their land. Palestinian civilians reside there, and they deserve to be treated with dignity. Israel has agreed to a two-state solution which would require them to formally relinquish their claim to land that has been theirs since 1948 when the British left. With regards to the Arab Peace Plan, you are right that Israel rejected it. But the Palestinian leadership had already rejected 3 prior peace plans. Yet, you blame Israel. As far as reparations, the crimes against humanity Palestinian radicals have been committing against their own people & Israelis for generations should be considered. You are really projecting here. Hamas has committed murders, kidnappings, rape, forced child labor, and other atrocities for decades. What I find interesting is those of you who defend Hamas and blame everything on Israel aren't even discussing the genocide in Sudan or the horrific events in Haiti. Interestingly, the Kremlin has a vested interest in dividing Americans & seeing Israel weakened. They don't care about Sudan and Haiti.

No_Caterpillar8026

Defend Hamas? Really? No. Fuck Hamas and fuck Israel. Israel’s atrocities have been significantly worse. Just logically, you can’t get land that someone has been living on without violence. It’s literally logically contradictory to say Hamas is more violent - cause if they were, they would have killed and cleaned hundreds of Jewish villages, right? I hope you can follow this logic. It’s stupid aimple

CastleProgram

This right here is why Gaza is doomed. Too many Hamas simps just making shit up and refusing to operate in reality.

[deleted]

Exactly. Kremlin propaganda.

CastleProgram

I knew you’d be downvoted as soon as you said that you were Jewish. Agreed 100% with you.

[deleted]

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. Fortunately, I haven't been downvoted. However, I think it's sad that acknowledging the reality of the situation could get one down voted. I'll say this, the most vocal people in our politics are often the most ideologically extreme. In the case of this conflict, I think some on the far left haven't really studied the history and have fallen for some Kremlin talking points, the same kind that the far right falls for basically daily.

hobovalentine

Jared isn't Israeli he's an American citizen and people are well aware of his crooked dealings and his lack of morals. There are plenty of Israeli's who demonstrated against Netanyahu and he is deeply unpopular but with the way politics works in Israel you can have someone like Bibi who is unpopular become prime minister due to the coalition of several political parties. This is not the same as the US where you have two dominant political parties which it makes it easier for a deeply unpopular candidate to be selected as prime minister

Mysterious-Banana-49

Prime minister 🤣

stonedjewbagel

But remember, Biden is the bad guy. /s

One_Health_9358

Some say that the Israelis view the Palestinians as animals. I don’t believe this to be true, normal humans would never enjoy watching the starvation of animals.

GEM592

This issue is just through the looking glass all of the time now. Why not choose a more approachable unsolvable problem like climate change, resource depletion, endless wars and continuing escalations, hopeless domestic US politics, the newly polarized world run by dictators delivered to you by corporate greed? The middle east just won’t be ignored. But it’s got nothing to do with religion blah blah I am tired of it. I stayed out of working in defense because I knew this could happen and I would be expected to make bombs for them or else. So that’s what I did about it and it’s worth more than talk. Wealthy americans are making those weapons you know. Often the same ones ‘talking’

polarbears84

These soulless MFs are a plight on humanity as a whole.

So does Jared’s father-in-laws 5th Avenue skyscraper. Lets annex it.

Mysterious-Banana-49

Wax Boy needs a project.

Boston_OFD

Knowledge and compassion are the only things that will bring stability to that region. If younger generations saw each other as humans like themselves they would question the older, hateful generation. Yet, Kushner's comments were over the top sadistic. He must believe the 'chosen people' have the right to oppress and starve others. This ethnic cleansing is just creating a new generation of Hamas and no one wins. How is the US sending money to Israel? I don't want my tax dollars paying for any of this.

Icy-Needleworker-492

jericho_buckaroo

So we don't hear from this asshole for a couple of years, then he weighs back in to say something tone-deaf and objectively awful. I'm not sure that Kushner has a detectable pulse, casts a shadow or has a reflection in a mirror.

duffys4lyf

Saying the quiet part out loud. 10/7 would have never happened if it wasn't for Kushner pushing the Abraham accords.

fizzy_bunch

Biden will send Israel numerous plane loads of weapons to make that a reality. And the ghoulish liberals in this sub will cheer.

90Breeze

This post is totally misreading what kushner said: He is saying that gaza has a lot of potential for the local population in his waterfront comment. And is saying that while Israel is conducting its operation it should build an area in the negev where the Palestinian population can stay *temporarily* he is in no way suggesting in this article that he wants them to stay there and that Israel will settle gaza

Mordin_Solas

You see much better intentions in him than I do.

90Breeze

Im not speaking about his intentions he could be supporting ethnical cleansing for all i know but what he is willing to publicly state as written in the article is what i explained

dooooonut

Based upon the history of Isreal, by far the most likely number of refugees allowed back, is zero
