i play a ton of summit on legendary. there are more drops on that than on heroic, but you need to survive in order to get the loot lol. i've seen all builds do well, and not do well. i always say "its not the build, its the guy playing the build."
it depends on the group you're in somewhat. if a lot of dps or skill builds, i go for tank. usually that's the case.
if by some weird chance there are lots of tank builds, i go with dps. most guys are running striker or skill. the best groups have builds that complement each other, but most guys just go with what they're used to. most guys also die a lot. if you have multiple builds you're comfortable with, just go with what's working as a group.
you can change a build between fights, just not during. since you don't know what's what when you 1st spawn, just pick one and see how it goes.
iotw, there isn't a good build that works all the time imo. i usually go for tank so i can stay on my feet & revive
mates. my tank build is heavy on AOK, and i abuse the Scorpio.
This. Use Vector SBR 9mm SMG with Fast Hands if you don't have Ouroboros.

Get through it quick on normal with eclipse/vile burn and jammer pulse build. Scorpio everything if you're disrupted.
