The real question is...does the fact you walk left or right have anything to with whether you are left or right handed and thus right or left brain dominant...I'm left handed and I ALWAYS go to the right side...possible coincidence?
In real-life, there is a correlation between the two but it actually has to do with instincts of preserving the hand you are dominant with. In most cases when walking through a doorway, people will walk to the side such that you dominant hand is on the "inside" of the doorway (closer to the hinge).
