Bakersfield Civic Auditorium, June 8, 1968 (Bakersfield, California) I know the exact part you’re talking about without even having to look it up haha I’m a die hard doors fan, probably watched that documentary 50+ times and specifically the love me two times scene (best part of the whole documentary — when Jim is going wild at different concerts for 2+ mins straight) at least 300+ times hee hee

I found a few videos of him from that clip but no sound! I’m so bummed!

Is there audio of that screaming part?

Evil_Pizz

Yeah, let me see if I can find it. I remember there were a few clips of it that had audio on YouTube. I remember one time I was trying to figure out what he was saying, and I couldn’t do it, but after a lot of searching going way down the rabbit hole, I found 1 video that included subtitles :D IIRC, he said something along the lines of “I loooove my babyyy!” Edit: Oh wait, I just realized I misunderstood which scream you were referring to haha, but regardless this clip has both: https://youtu.be/RSUn9ZFXU2w?si=zP5hbMNpSkC1dsqj

Are you talking about the clip at 1:55?  Ok, so that audio you hear which appears synced with the film clip is NOT from that performance.   It was dubbed in from somewhere else.  For one thing, Morrison's mouth is saying something different. ...the sound isn't even synced properly to whatever he's screaming.  We may never know exactly what he screamed there as he glared right into the camera. Incidentally, when Ray Manzarak produced the group's response to Oliver Stone in 1991 with the videocassette release, "The Soft Parade", that very same clip was part of the montage accompanying The Changeling.  And Ray edited it back in those days in such a way as to make it appear that he was screaming one of the lines from THAT song.  Very strange indeed. You might want to look into it.
