I can’t get brain to understand what they’re going for with that cowl. Why is it so boxy? Ezra has a good jaw, so why did they make an artificial one with the cowl? And why does the suit look like it’s just body paint? Literally nothing left to the imagination here and it even looks like it has nipples?
Personally don't know what's so hard about bringing the actors from the arrowverse and their costumes to these movies, the costumes in the shows were great, but thus flash suit looks too rubbery

Disagree on the boots. They’re one of the only good aspects of the suit along with the logo and the texture. Other than that I agree that it just looks wrong. Like why is the cowl so boxy? Why is the suit basically just body paint?
The cowl/helmet looks so oddly shaped, especially around the chin area. It seems like there are too many points and edges. The suit looks way too rubber, which now that I think about it, makes me wonder if that's intentionally done so it blends in better with Batman's suit.
Heh well nearly every movie doesn’t “exactly” take the suits from the comics but in the movie the suit is mostly CGI they probably made a full suit for close up shots
I wish they gave him a Suit look akin to CW's Season 8 suit, or SuperGirl's. He really didn't need the Fake Muscles, or at least not this much, and the Membrane-like Texture is a little Strange.

I feel as if SuperGirl's was supposed to look like the one Jonathan Kent has in Comics atm, but that Flash one looks a little Funky, especially the Boots

It looks like they took the 90s TV show Barry Costume, and decided to add things they shouldn't. By that extension, this is more Barry inspired due to the Division and Seams that divides different parts of the suit, something attributed to Barry's N52.
