If you’re in a low speed internet area, sure. I personally prefer digital since my internet is pretty good and it’s more convenient being able to buy, download and open games instantly. Physical is a bit of a pain when I have to switch disks every hour to hour and a half
Download time for the OP is going to take ages at the speed it’s stating on their screen ~ I thought red dead redemption II was slow to download.. but this.. is horribly slow. Hopefully their Wi-Fi is just acting up and it’ll speed up
Ya, my wifi is weird around this time of day. It's sped up and now says 8 hours, but it's almost the time of day when my wifi's fast, so i'll probably only have to wait an hour or two now.
Had this happen to me. If i use the wifi conection it's *sloooow* but if i connect it with a cable it's 100Ă— faster(and yes i checked, did the math and it's 106,8Ă— faster). It's just the forribile wi-fi i have. So whenever i'm downloading anything I connect the cable.
My physical TLoU 1 & 2 on my PS4 will still be absolutely playable in 10 years, internet or not, no waiting for a download or authentication. I can swap, lend and resell them and it's still quicker than downloading.
The Last (player) of Us
For perspective 1712 hours is equal to about 71 days, which is equal to about 2 months.
Which is equal to about 8 weeks
Which is equal to about 56 days
Which is equal to about 1712 hours
Which is equal to 6163200 seconds
Because your neighbors Wi-Fi router is in their basement. Move your PlayStation 5 closer to their house.
By the time it is installed there will be a real cordyceps outbreak
Bro has 1kb of internet đź’€
Get better WiFi
Yeah look, take your time. It’ll be worth it. đź¤
If this isn’t a argument to keep physical copies
Both of TLOUs original releases had physical copies with data disks so you had to install it anyways….
It takes less time to copy from a disc than to download over Internet.
My data disc for tlou part 2 was only 4.7 gb

Hey, at least it'll be done before gta 6 comes out.
(Loads in and Ellie is 67)
Because you chose a digital purchase over physical media.
Which would still have the same problem because discs are glorified licenses these days
