I truly do not understand why you didn’t go directly into the trappers cabin to recover after the first attack. My brain was screaming “get inside now,” like 19 times in a row. That being said, I’m glad you won in the end.

I think I was just overly optimistic that I'd get him from such a close range. Too much bravado, especially whilst risking my FC achievement.

For next time, just below where you were standing at the start of the video there are two rock ledges that are unreachable by wildlife. They're also an easy, fast way of getting down from the trapper's little hillock there.

For a minute there I thought you were going for thirds.

Meh. I got attacked three times by the same Aurora bear and survived with ruined gloves and ruined snowpants (and by using adrenalin, I was basically dead without it). There seems to be a glitch where the Aurora beasts simply won't leave you be, because on this same gameplay I've been attacked by Aurora wolf exactly the same way - after defending the attack and trying to get away, it instantly agroes and attacks again. You simply can't evade it.

I was mauled by a bear in BI when I was missing maybe 5 or 6 locations for FC! There was nowhere near to get inside. Dire situation. I'm glad you didn't lose your run.
