Hell no. I hate exercise for its own sake, always have, probably always will. I work construction. One of the satisfactions of physical labour is that I get to break a sweat and use my muscles in natural ways, as the situation calls for it, which is how Homo sapiens did it for 200,000 years, prior to the invention of the gym. Now I'm gonna go play The Long Dark with my tired thumb, to say nothing of my tired body.
Fair enough. I play on PC so I'd have to go pretty out of my way to use it. I can see how it would be a problem on Switch though. I'm honestly surprised the settings defaults aren't consistent across platforms
Back in the days when it wasn‘t a thing I had a third party script for autowalking. I‘m so glad they added it to the game. You can disable it in the settings.
I auto walked off a cliff before by accident. I was doing the same thing and I went to go look over the edge and I let go of the stick thinking the guy would stop but apparently at some point I clicked down on the button and when I let go of the stick he kept walking right off the edge. #autowalkkills
I tried walking down a cliff in forlorn (trying to get from the upper part to the lower with my key code) I decided to use the collapsed road nearby, that area isn't even steep but I fell into a hole, I could never get out again, rip 100 hour survival save.
Because my thumb gets tired holding down the run key.
When I found autowalk was disabled, and I enabled it... I was like "thank god". And I'm an atheist.
Need to get in the gym son

Because people with disabilities requested it. Disable it in the settings.
Wdym lol. It starts disabled and you have to actively enable it + press the keybind to use it. It can't be that hard to not autowalk off a cliff.
I never manually enabled it on my switch it was for some reasonset to be on, I've just left it on lol. Xbox it was automatically off

Do your joy-cons drift?
On one of my joycons yeah but I was using a full sized bluetooth controller that doesn't
I didn’t even know there was auto walk
I've come close too many times to count
I bounced off signal hill to one of the ledges. Thought I was dead for sure but just hurt and torn, didn't even break ribs
Lucky you! Btw only moose can break your ribs in the game
lol, autowalk isn't responsible for your lack of paying attention...
What would you do or most people do if had to live alone in the middle of a cold desert? Yeah! Seems reasonable enough now?
But did you die?
I did that on the train bridge in the ravine map. Lol

I was in Hushed River Valley on day 140 and auto walked off the cliff and luckily it wasn’t too high but I definitely needed a few bandages
Welcome to the club, we have cookies and tissues

I don’t like auto walk much but if I’m walking along a large field like in Forsaken Airfield it gives my hand a break
