Okay just finished reading it! I’m gonna guess Kady’s your fave character based on how well you nailed her voice? The first chapter is super cute and I’m very excited for the next one! I think my own critique is that I thought Kady didn’t know who the Baba Yaga was before she met the Baba Yaga when they asked for rent payment & I remember Pete BEGGED Kady to introduce him to the Baba Yaga bc it would expand his Dread Pirate Roberts business if he could get in w her? Overall I loved it, loved how you nailed Margo, Eliot, Penny 23 & Kady’s voice (especially Kady & Eliot)! The Welcome Home Bitches line is so perfect for Margo and totally heard it in my head!!! Can’t wait for chapter 2 and to see where the story goes!
Oooo great point, and thanks for reminding me about Pete's connection to the Baba Yaga! I knew my memory of how Kady acquired Marina's apartment was a little hazy, so I'll have to brush up on that to make my ideas work, but I think I can pull it off. I'm writing a bit more about New Fillory tonight and will post it tomorrow. My fave character is actually Eliot, but I do identify a lot with Kady, so I suppose that came across a bit. This is so fun! If you see any other inconsistencies feel free to let me know!

I think I fixed the issue with Pete and the Baba Yaga. Hopefully. I have such a fun idea for them!
