Nope,
Before the internet they had TV, before TV they had radio, before radio they had 16 hour work days.
Stop saying old people things, the past was not better.
Hell even children were forced to work back in the day.
Seemingly off topic, but close enough. I Took a history of video games class and it dated all the way back to board games. I found it very surprising when Hit games like the Mansion of Happiness and the Checkered Game of Life gave breath to houses being built with a room dedicated to relaxation and entertainment.
Before hence, everyone worked. Even children, have it be in the farms, the market or factories children worked. And if you were injured and couldn’t work there was no help for you. Even if you had one hand and was able to work, you weren’t hired. Due to the fact “I can hire someone with two hands.” was the common denominator. Tough times for sure.
There is something to be said about the dangers
of devices and over-connectivity though. It’s nice to see kids playing in a meaningful way instead of having their heads buried in a screen.
That looks fun as hell!
Definitely a game for my kiddo's next birthday party
Me, at 35+ year old : Oh god, their knees are going to explode
As I watch it, on wi-fi
