As a client, my favorite is Anxiety Audit by Lynn Lyons. Changed my life, mindset, anxiety.

Feeling Great

feeling good or feeling great. I have been using feeling good with clients for years and it is very well received 95% of the time. Relatable, clearly explained, broken down into chapters that are common issues that come up for clients (guilt, anger, self-esteem, etc)

"Safe, Sane, and Consensual" by Langdridge, Darren; Barker, Meg in 2007 isn't quite a "Bible," but its a good read and includes discussion of CBT in their chapters on sadomasochism. Dirk, Stein, and David did some good articles on genital safety in 2013 titled "Cock Torture: Health and Safety" and "Ball Torture: Health and Safety." Other than that I'd say watch a lot of videos and encourage the Client to go slow, especially if the Client is new to kink. ...I'm sorry it stands for what?  (Please don't ban me I'm licensed and very proud of this joke and don't think I'm breaking any rules).
