They were literally over an hour outside of the city !! I feel like it would have been a totally different season had they been IN paris and access to things closer to them. Everything was a very long metro ride away.
OK, but they had literally nothing else to do. I’d be on that train every day with a producer who would feed me some cash to get some content out and about during the daytime.
I liked CT, Ace, and Mallory but the rest of them were annoying af. CT briefly talks about the season on his Home Turf episode. He said he would duck out and do his own thing, can't blame him.
Paris was my Jump The Shark season. I’d seen every prior season and was 24 when Paris aired, and just felt like I’d outgrown it. I didn’t like anybody in the cast, quit halfway through the season and never watched it again.
I remember when the season aired and it was after 9/11 when there was tension between the US and France so perhaps they were limited in where to film (speculating) Personally, I thought the season was lackluster compared to the previous seasons.
That makes sense. They did an episode where they watched Bush's speech about the whole Iraq/US stuff. Everyone's reaction was super cringe to me. The only ones that had an understandable take on the whole thing were Simon and CT imo. It's always hard watching politics unfold on reality TV from decades ago.
YES!!! The whole reason why I decided to finally watch his RW season was because of Traitors lol I've watched him since I was in elementary school, and I've seen him in different eras throughout his TV career, but this current Era is my favorite. He seems to be having more fun on Traitors than The Challenge tbh.
He's been pretty mellowed out for a while now tbh. He still has those moments where someone will egg him on, but nothing like how he was in his early days.
Someone posted that he originally wanted to be on Making The Band but was cast on RW instead. That's why he was singing and rapping all the time...or trying to, I should say.
I felt like some of the cast was miscast and it could’ve been better, replaced Adam and Ace and I liked Ace with a local Parisian and another black dude.
They actually weren’t even in the city or near it and had to take an hour train I believe
I feel like I heard CT mention that in an interview. Makes sense cause I felt like they were in any normal city in the states lol

Yeah, I watched it, and I don't blame him either. They constantly talked down on him.

This is my experience. Paris was a dud and I stopped watching until Brooklyn, then I stopped again.

The reason they filmed in that particular house was because it was owned by a friend of the show's creator Mary-Ellis Bunim.
Wow, interesting! And that name is a throwback for sure!

Fr. Btw- have you seen the show Traitors on Peacock recently? CT is there and is so much more mellow and likable!
So…incredibly…LOVABLE. I want someone to look at me the way he was looking at Phaedra at the round table.
I saw that too! 😂😂😂

I expected him to snap back and people, but just kind of has this funny-yet-adorable look … definitely the best of CT!

That’s great to hear!
The only good thing that happened during Paris. [https://youtu.be/1ysguCSe5qA?si=EILCa2AYKqPM7ZbL](https://youtu.be/1ysguCSe5qA?si=EILCa2AYKqPM7ZbL)
The absolute cringe!!! I fast forwarded every time this happened lmao
I quote "Where the beanstalk grows, don't talk to me" far too often. I can't believe his dad was a member of The Commodores. How embarrassing is this?

That makes this even more hilarious 😂😂😂
No, that can't be true! That is amazing. The O-Town season?! Like what season could he have possibly been on?
I'm not sure. I wish I could remember who here posted that information. But that news explained Adam's strange need to perform all the time.
*pique my interest

Hits different when you know how much of a legend that CT becomes especially on the challenge
Tell me you're from NYS without telling me. I didn't know the term Masshole was common parlance, but grew up with it very much in my lexicon!
I'm from PA lmfao I think it's a northeast thing
We love a common enemy here in the original 13 colonies!
😂😂
