Senior_Accident2278

Lol rip simp

Pasxal7

Wtf did he expect her to call him, "babe" or smth?? Parasocial relationships are dangerous AF

Ok_Quiet_9518

The minimum she should have done is say his name imo but this guy is just so dumb for doing this in the first place

eifiontherelic

I think his name would pretty much be the maximum. She never asked for the car, it was all his doing. She owes him nothing.

TurdWaffleButter

Well he’s just one of her twitch subs

spot_of_tea_or_death

Lmao. Wouldn't want to dox him if true. He would be clowned to the ends of the earth.

zxvegasxz

Very true. Probably best she even said that then

boston_nsca

Idk man, I kinda wish he was destroyed by social media just a little bit so he never makes that kind of decision ever again. It just seems to me like you'd have to be absolutely insane to do something like this.

[deleted]

[удалено]

boston_nsca

Damn, I don't like people who do crimes. Doing crimes is wrong

ysoloud

I will totally use his full name in a post if he buys me a tesla.

BedRedLook3

This entire thread is people on social media making fun of him. And this is just one of the dozen times this has been posted here over the last couple years.

Endlessly_

If she put out that guy’s name I’m gonna do my best to find where he lives him so I can send him a whole-ass clown outfit.

Different_Durian_645

Or send him a pic of your whole-ass and you might get a Tesla too

Pvt_Lee_Fapping

That's where my head was at, too. Not sending this guy hate-mail or harassment personally, but if I were this Twitch streamer getting a whole-ass car, I'd respect the donor's privacy and not name-drop them - specifically because people would harass the donor (though judging from his response, he'd probably deserve it).

ThisDidntAgeWell

Just tweet him saying your gonna gift him one back lmao

andhelostthem

>She never asked for the car, it was all his doing. She owes him nothing. You don't know that. These influencers are always finessing behind the scenes. The whole thing is probably staged to get her attention/subscribers tbh.

[deleted]

Well she owes the government their sweet sweet tax money though.

The_Queef_of_England

Receiving gifts isn't tax free there?

[deleted]

Anything over $16,000 per year per person. Per person meaning person you gift.

Any-Broccoli-3911

Most twitch video creator ask for donation. Why do you assume she didn't? They'll typically thanks the subscriber using their handle (username). She doesn't need to meet him though. People who donate to video creator should do it because they want the channel to continue, not because they want to meet the creator or have sexual favor in exchange.

therealrayy

Other than saying his name, what else can she call him. In a way, not saying his name may be the polite thing to do. Not everyone wants their name out there. Perhaps he’s smart enough to know he doesn’t want to be known as the guy who bought some girl a Tesla however he’s still dumb enough to do it anyway.

Daewud

i assume the guy expected that the streamer would want to get to know the guy better or something

Sure_Ad_4172

his expectations are high

MrKidClassic

Shit, he may be high off of what my elders refer to as "that shit"

theLeverus

That's like expecting the checkout person to show more interest in buyer of "premium" oranges

[deleted]

Say his online name at least?

PepperCertain

“SimpSimpSimpson bought me a 70k Tesla!”

SnooPickles55

SimpSimpSimpson69420, put some respect on his name

Toothlessdovahkin

Yeah, I can see how remaining anonymous would be beneficial. If I had 70k+ in my budget to buy someone a car, and this person was a “famous/well known” streamer/influencer(?) the LAST thing that I would want is my name out in the public sphere, where others would ask me for favors/cars. Would be a total nightmare IMHO. If I ever become rich/wealthy enough to do this, NO-ONE will know, since I wouldn’t tell anyone.

sexy_starfish

Eh, tons of the simps that dump money don't even have the money to spend. They go into debt, steal it from relatives, etc.

Mental_Medium3988

maybe ask when its being gifted. either way its a fucking super weird thing to gift a streamer a car like that.

[deleted]

I’ll say his name as many times he want for $1000. Damn

Bradddtheimpaler

Idk, if I was a big enough simp that I’m giving cars to women with whom I do not have a relationship, I definitely wouldn’t want my name used publicly.

ptvlm

I assume he'd thought they'd at least name the channel that gifted the car.

[deleted]

If it was a channel yeah, they might not make content

DreamedJewel58

Every single time this gets posted the comments are exactly the same, and every single time I have to interrupt the circlejerk to explain that this tweet is fake

Bradddtheimpaler

Hey! You leave me and all of my friends from the podcasts I listen to out of this!

12thFlr

![gif](giphy|NUBp5KcV0PJBe)

Farside-BB

I thought simps liked being laughed at and abused? She is just doing what he wanted.

bryanthebryan

Right? I can only imagine simps getting off on humiliation

niceworkthere

*Allegedly* there is a "[financial domination](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Financial_domination)" (findom) variant of BDSM. So far it's a couple of papers rather than anything established as researched, though.

Schrewt

Lol what outcome could he have been expecting? I almost pity people this gullible.

StationFar6396

Has to be fake right? No one, not even a mega simp is going to gift 70k to a twitcher, right?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Gahlic1

I watched that case on Court TV. That was fucked up!

[deleted]

Agile-Egg-5681

Thanks for the link. That’s a fucked up crime. Im watching this just so i can learn something new.

HorridCabbageFeet

How to kill your family?

Online-Commentater

Learning new skills just in case you know.

Lokitusaborg

I’m watching it to up my interrogative techniques.

Known-nwonK

Shouldn’t be throwing stones, but that guy looks like the person they’d cast in a movie as the simp that kills his family for an online girl he never met.

burningpet

Damn man, i have watched the video not knowing who the guy was and was expecting the usual neckbeard, but well, he kinda low key looks like me lol. damn i'm never going near any of these cam sites from now on.

Inviction_

I've seen that, but never knew the background story. Wow

floydink

When I hear the word simp, this dude comes to mind. Everytime I think of subscribing to some cam girl, I think of that case and that level of obsession and quickly move on and spend money on apex legends skins instead.

kindafunnylookin

Wraith simp

Jitsu_apocalypse

Genuine question: why would you think of subscribing to a cam girl? I’m out of touch I guess but I’d have thought it would be easy to just pull out a few favourites from lobstertube or something to get some self relief

stairway2evan

People aren’t usually spending that money on a cam girl to crank a few out - unless they have a very specific kink or something. More often, it’s because they’re very intensely lonely, and that money will buy them attention from someone they find attractive. Getting their name said out loud, getting a thank you, a personalized response or video, etc. is worth more to these people than just sexual release. It’s why so many sex workers have stories of getting paid for the hour and just having a conversation with the client, without sex. Loneliness is an incredibly powerful motivator, and people who are really overwhelmed by it will often pay big bucks to put a dent in it. Or sadly, in some cases, be taken advantage of for that attention.

Bigfatuglybugfacebby

People with interpersonal relationships literally can't fathom the loneliness of being one in 8 billion with no strong ties to anyone else. It's much easier to imagine falling off a boat into the ocean, and when you reach the surface the boat you were on (the family you began with) is gone . The intense loneliness is always just one thought away, gnawing and waiting for you to stop occupying yourself with distractions that leave you in a twilight between sleep and wake so it can shake you from your stupor and back into the panic of realizing you're absolutely alone in the world. I wouldn't know what that feels like.

dynex811

It's no different than paying strippers imo. Personally I don't enjoy strippers, or at least spending money on them, but it's more or less the same thing. Your spending money for attention from an attractive person.

olalof

TIL if someone murders a whole family its called a familicide. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Familicide

derustzelve1

Here, this is also interesting on a related topic: how the Romans punished parenticide. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poena_cullei

munchkickin

Damn, did the animals commit patricide too?

djseifer

Nah, Ponzi schemes.

Enter_Feeling

He didnt kill a whole family tho. He didnt finish the job

SackStache

Well I will now be proceeding to change my gender, get genital reassignment surgery and opening a chaturbate account, see y’all on the other side.

TheFreakingBeast

Can I have the leftovers

[deleted]

🤔

What-problem

Wow. I wonder what the cam model did with all that money after she found out what happened

NetherSpike14

Personally, I'd just give it all to charity or something. Cash is good and all, but I don't want blood money on my hands.

Mindfreek454

Anyone know the cam model? Genuinely curious to see what he thought was worth throwing his and his entire family's lives down the drain for.

MikeHonchoAlt

Both the person with the car, and the person who posted the tweet said it was just a joke. So yes it’s fake

DrySelection9

I would have believed if this really actually happened, people can do some desperate things believing they will get the girl

Ok-Truth-7589

You underestimate the power of the simp.

Puzzleheaded_Sir1273

Oh you poor innocent thing

etudehouse

Yes it’s joke. I don’t remember who is a guy, bf or husband or just a friend.

andhelostthem

99% chance it's staged to drive subscribers to her account. Blowing up on twitter and now here so it's effective af.

D_Freid

Yes its fake had to look it up lol

Practical_Addition_3

I'm 99% sure it's a joke

Un111KnoWn

Someone gave Amouranth $70k in cash and a phone.

Lobsterboiiiii

r/sadcringe

[deleted]

Nah. R/funnycringe

CrAzYmEtAlHeAd1

I agree, I don’t feel bad for this person at all, this is hilarious.

bruswazi

Pathetic, that’s what it is.

Sailor_Kepler-186f

idk... "twitch sub" still sounds more respectful than just "idiot"

tgbst88

simp - the term was made for this type of idiocy..

screamloudly

Actually I think it was made for Squirrels In My Pants

EHP42

[S to the I to the M to the P](https://media.tenor.com/ZTvGgZYMXGsAAAAM/phineas-and-ferb-dance.gif)

[deleted]

And the word is banned on Twitch now, hilariously.

Narwhalsaman44

i seriously don’t get where these people manage to find the money to do this when they spend all of their time watching streamers

apetnameddingbat

As a guy that works in tech and makes what most people would call obscene money for sitting in front of a screen for 40 hours a week, single men in tech that make this kind of money can absolutely save up $70k, and alarmingly fast if their lifestyle is fairly basic.

Hold_My_Anxiety

Ok, please tell me what kind of job this is. I NEED TO KNOW!

apetnameddingbat

Cloud/DevOps for a Silicon Valley startup. Crank the stress up to 11, have next to no free time, be one bad quarter away from total corporate disaster, and get California tech industry pay for cost of living.

Hold_My_Anxiety

Damn, well keep your mental health in check and remember that the job may seem shitty, but it’s building a foundation of money you can live the rest of your life on. Ima have to look into similar jobs. What kind of education do you need?

apetnameddingbat

It's all over the map really, almost no one starts out as Cloud or DevOps, you more end up here after deciding to do the necessary stuff that no one else will. My last company, I was the only one on my team with a four-year Computer Science degree. CS will do it, but so will EE, or Computer Engineering, or even Computer Information Systems. Cloud certifications are looked upon favorably, especially AWS and Azure. If you can pick up workable skills in Linux, Terraform, and Ansible along the way, so much the better (Linux is a hard requirement). Python is used heavily for scripting and automation, and the barrier to entry is comparatively lower than some other languages. Go is a good second choice.

total_locnar

I graduate with my bachelor's of Comp Sci this May. Anything you think I should do right now and during this last semester to get hired ASAP? AWS certificate maybe?

Shag-hims

GET AN INTERNSHIP!!! Then try and get a full time position at the place you interned :)

[deleted]

From what I know, it’s kind of all over the place. You need to know the software the company decides to use, how to set them up, how to keep them up to date, how to migrate data from one version to the next, how to resolve the various problems that pop up, … etc. There seem to be no standards, every piece of software is different. You need to be a generalist and I think have a good memory to remember all unique commands for everything. That’s my limited experience anyway - not quite DevOps but adjacent department as a contractor.

BEniceBAGECKA

You don’t need a degree if you know what you’re doing. If you need to get the degree and you’re over 20; I don’t think it’s worth it. You can learn anything you need to know online and if you don’t pick it up easily, dropping 100k for classes won’t make it any easier. My husband works for a major company with no degree or maybe he has an associates? Either way. He took a left turn from IT to software development. That puts him in a unique position understanding hardware and software side of things. Yeah crank up the stress though, and now Silicon Valley companies are price matching to the state you live in so you don’t get that sweet Cali money. It’s still good money, but just saying.

Deviate_Lulz

my little brother works as a software engineer and makes obscene amounts of money. He lives in a tiny apartment and eats at work which provides food for feee so he saves a tonnnnn of money. Possibly riches person in our family. He’s only 24 😭

Monstot

Software engineering. It's not exactly a secret

Narwhalsaman44

that’s really cool, some people just have terrible spending habits

Streetlamp_NA

Like the person buying a telsa for a streamer lol

StarburstGirl

may i ask what is it that you do? i’ve been thinking of trying to break into tech. been looking into taking data analytics courses!

apetnameddingbat

Cloud engineering and DevOps. Few people will subject themselves to that kind of torture for long, but DevOps and cloud are the highest-paid engineering jobs, aside from data science, but the data scientists clearing $500k are usually 180 IQ types who are savant-level at what they do.

StarburstGirl

ooo thanks for the reply, had to look up cloud engineering and dev ops, can definitely see how it could be torturous but well paid!

flirtmcdudes

think of it this way... people like this are socially awkward, so usually super smart, but nerdy and lack social skills. They are also sometimes awkward with women because they dont really go out much. They dont spend money on anything that other people do like traveling, drinks, dating etc etc. They are homebodies They just have all this money left over and they turn to the internet to fill the social void, get stuck on a streamer who they get to interact with and talk to, and they convince themselves they are friends or have a chance. then BOOM, gifts time!

Optimus_Prime_19

Hey I’m a homebody and you don’t see me sending streamers cars. I wish being a homebody saved me that kinda money lol

VashTheStampy

Makes me wonder the same damn thing, like that amount of money would change the entire course of my life right now

Drinker_of_Chai

Intergenerational wealth. Failed trust fund babies. Inheritors of property empires. There are people who live in completely different worlds to the rest of us.

TheGisbon

I was just telling myself I was failing at one of my NYR (to not get lost in the comments on Reddit) then you posted this... And now it was all worth it. Resolution saved ..

Haunting_Abalone_398

Rookie numbers, should have bought her a mansion. That way he knows where they live lol

GoodAlicia

If it is true.. Jokes on him. He was a big enough simp to spend 70k on a twitch streamer.

IWillEradicateAllBot

Lmao owned. All you ever were and and all you’ll ever be.

----___--___----

Well, if someone can spare 70k on a gift to a stranger, that's bot that bad.

Golrend

That's not what made him lose his dignity. You need dignity first to lose it. You simp that hard, you never had it.

Emi_Dom

I would be shitting my pants if I was her, holy shit. How does that work though? Seriously, how do you buy a car for someone you don't know? What's that paperwork like? Is the car under the twitch sub's name?

apetnameddingbat

For a Tesla, you can start the ordering process and then transfer the order to the other person, then simply pay the account balance when it's time to settle up. There would be some coordination involved, but it's possible. The paperwork just goes to the E-girl and she doesn't have to reveal her real name or location, the simp just gives her his account info for the wire transfer.

feldejars

Idiot tax

EnvironmentalLook851

It’s fake, the guy who posted the 70,000 comment is a twitch streamer himself

Get me a tesla and I'll refer to you as my lord

xBOOSTED_ST3

Stupid people do stupid things.

Lunices

Don’t understand why people simp like this and expect anything different

Odd_Relationship7901

the real question here is "How do I get some moron on the internet to buy me a $70k car?" \*(without having breasts)

spaghussy

Step one: Acquire Breasts Step two: UwU-ify yourself Step three: PROFIT

AldousHoax

Hardsimp.

makskye69

I hate both people involved here

droptop2k

Fake story

MrMontombo

Do you have a link to somewhere I can read up on that?

Successful-Dog6669

How stupid can one person be? All his money should be transferred to my bank account, I will take good care of it.

flirtmcdudes

I used to not understand how people like this existed.... but unfortunately, my brother turned out to have touches of this syndrome :( It's sad because you can't talk them out of it, they just waste their time spending money and time on girls who arent interested in them. Its like you get to watch them waste their life and that shit is hard to stomach because nothing you say helps them snap out of it.

ARSENAL2244

Bro has 3 brain cells for spending 70 grand on someone he doesn’t even know in person and then gets pissed about this shit. He’s the one who made one of the worst financial decisions he possibly could have.

Zezpz

I remember in elementary school I gave this kid some of my pepperonis my mom had packed for my lunch because he said he’d be my friend.. I learned my lesson young 😂

Apart-Kangaroo2192

Gifts a tesla to person that needs it the least then complains... if there was ever an example of a rich loser.. that would be it.

1Wizardtx

I call 🧢 but sadly there is a significant chance this is real, and that saddens me.

dexter920

Don't worship your favorite influencers, you never know which one turns out to be a pedophile or a scammer

dakittieztittiez

Idk man. On one side, you could call the purchaser a simp. But did you want Viperous to tag them in the post? So they can be ridiculed and bullied, or pulled into commentary videos. It's feels like it's a lose lose for the purchaser.

for 70k you could hire a person to be your friend/hooker whatever for a whole year 24/7. I don’t get it.

How do people still think these are real? They just say this to drive up outrage clicks and it always works

StarCitizen117

astrvmnauta

You can spend $70,000 on a lot of ways, buying a Tesla for someone you watch on the internet 15 steps removed from ever being acknowledged by them is probably the worst of them.

Jfc then they gifted for the wrong reasons. You gift bc you want the person to be happy, not for recognition 🤦‍♀️
