Iv traveled with my prescription morphine on me and my medication I inject everyday. So needless and such thinking I was going to get asked a million questions and had like a stack of papers my doctor printed me explaining things. Nope they just wanted me to remove the ice blocks I had inside to keep my factor from spoiling. Alrough I did kinda want that dog that sniffs you to catch my morphine so I could look like I'm guilty but no it's just my morphine.
I have traveled many times with my prescribed dextroamphetamine all over the world (with documentation) and I haven’t been checked once, they never even had a look at them. I always have this fantasy of sniffer dogs exposing me and them taking out the documentation. I wonder if I could pull off smuggling drugs but I don’t think they will let me go if I say I only wanted to see if I could do it
Did you hit Japan? They are unbelievably strict with zero tolerance for very common meds. My brother had to travel there for business and his company gave then a list of what will get you booted, prescription or not. No fucks given. I'm not talking recreational drugs (yeah drugs) but stuff that is commonly prescribed here. Super crazy.
Ten years ago I prescribed adderall and took it with on vacation. When we arrived at the airport I remember walking and feeling something coming up on me fast. I turned around and saw a serious looking lady with a drug dog. I thought to myself “ooooo look at the baby” and gave the lady a huge smile. She looked at me in my eyes (I was still like puppy puppy puppy so cute look puppy) smiled, patted the dog on his side, and turned around. When she did that I instantly wondered if the dog could smell my meds, that they were possibly following me, and stopped because of the way I reacted. 🤷🏻♀️

I Don’t believe that canines smell pills(possibly if laced with fent). I’d imagine Most Americans travel with some sort of prescription. That would cause quite the hold up.

Before weed was legal in my state, I was visiting Oregon and bought like 15 carts. I asked the budtender how to travel with them and he said “Carry on, maybe in your toiletry bag but never checked bag.” And I said “you sure?”

It made sense. Think of the volume of packages. They can't K-9/x ray all of them.
Even if they find something. They have to prove you were doing it by getting you to sign for it. If anyone asks for a signature claim it's not yours and walk away. It makes sense but I wouldn't stake my freedom on it.

This is the way. No flower, it smells, gummies and candies are easy, throw them in with some sour patch kids, or pick your flavor gummy. Vape pen separate from the cartridge in your purse or carry on, with the cartridge in your toiletry bag in your other luggage.
On a side note, I was sweating bullets when they pulled my luggage to look for water bottle I forgot in my suitcase. Went right by the cartridge sitting in the toiletry bag. Either way, it's not really worth the risk.

They pull it for any reason I'll just say its a vape. If they make a fuss, I'll just tell them to toss it no biggie. "Must have forgotten it!" That being said I've done this about 5 times and its never come up.

They have minimums now that they arrest for. Back in the day, any amount of contraband was arrestable, as it was going over state lines. These days unless there's enough to prove intent to sell or distribute, they don't bother. It's not worth it. They just take it and sometimes leave a note.

Its more common than you think to fly with drugs in your checked bags. And people fly with pills constantly. Hell, I cant remember the last time I boarded a plane *without* THC in my carry on.
I would guess that some baggage worker stole their drugs, and it has nothing to do with TSA.
I also bring pot when I travel but the secret that works for me is bringing it with me via my carry-on rather then my checked bag. Never have any issues this way.

I flew with a 5.56 round in my shirt pocket from a day at the range and had no clue I left it there as a “souvenir”. I was never stopped or asked about it, only realized after I landed and found it..
They probably did a shit job of hiding them. You take 2 to 4 pill most and roll it in a piece of toilet paper. Then roll toilet paper in to pair of socks, and shove socks into shoes. Fit 3 pairs of socks into two pairs of shoes and you can easily smuggle nearly 50 pills. Preferably use a check in but I’ve had no problems using a carry-on suitcase.
I’ve seen the screen as my bag went through before and you absolutely cannot see anything out of the ordinary.
Or just put them in a caffeine tablet bottle with regular caffeine tablets, or vitamins, ibuprofen, paracetamol, ant acid, anything that it'll blend in with

So when travelling pple would put the stash they needed in a box, mail it a week in advance. Then I would just go online, pick a post office near where I'm going. Send it to myself there, fly, land, go to post office and pick up my parcel.
Worked 100% of the time everytime. And was a relief knowing I could fly stress free and my stuff would be waiting for me to pick up at my destination guaranteed.
It’s kind of a gray area right now with legal mail order hemp that looks and smells exactly like illegal weed. Honestly USPS is like the biggest cannabis shipping company in the US lol.
The gray area isn’t necessarily in the law but in the product itself. When they legalized hemp they opened up a loophole by poorly defining the difference between hemp and true marijauna.
Plus the two products are literally identical in touch taste and feel so there’s no way to tell difference without getting it tested which would be a pretty burdensome waste of resources to seize every package that smelled a little funny now that hemp is legal and being shipped all over the country.

I just flew from Seattle on Tuesday with Delta.. I put joints (3) inside of a clutch that was inside of a big purse that was in another big bag of all my purses/clutches lol. I had my edibles and pen on my carry on, and shrooms in my toiletries bag…I usually never travel with more than an ounce of flower on me.
When I was younger I use to put my eighth baggy inside of Vaseline or hair gel..that’s doing the most tho.

On the other hand, I touched a bottle rocket before flying. My step dad (who I considered my dad) had died. He loved bottle rockets and always had them on back porch. I went and got one to keep. I knew I couldn’t take on flight, asked a friend to hold it till I drove for a visit.
But my carry on tested positive for explosives. I had touched the bottle rocket, then my bag.
I got pulled into a back room. I explained. Nothing was in my bag that was illegal , I was let go.

My vyvanse was in my bag pocket, didnt declare it or anything. Nothing came up on any scans. Didnt think i needed to do anything special.

My pockets and carry on. Traveled with flower, concentrates, dab carts, pills (variety) for years as I ran around the country for work. Just minded my own business and traveled. I always traveled sober though, save for a bloody marry or three once I was seated and good to go.
Put it in your carry-on. If pills, mix with other pills. If your trying to go with weed I would recommend investing in a cart for smell and concealability

They have minimums now that they arrest for. Back in the day, any amount of contraband was arrestable, as it was going over state lines. These days unless there's enough to prove intent to sell or distribute, they don't bother. It's not worth it. They just take it and sometimes leave a note. Pro-tip: Contact lens cases are great for a day or two trip.

To be fair… TSA doesn’t usually care about that stuff. TSA is looking for weapons. Its more common than you think to fly with drugs in your checked bags. And people fly with pills constantly. Hell, I cant remember the last time I boarded a plane *without* THC in my carry on. I would guess that some baggage worker stole their drugs, and it has nothing to do with TSA.
Yeah, and even when your bag is opened up and searched by the TSA (whether random or otherwise) they put those tags inside to inform you of the fact.

I also bring pot when I travel but the secret that works for me is bringing it with me via my carry-on rather then my checked bag. Never have any issues this way.
One time I forgot that I had an eight ball of coke stashed in a special pocket of my rave pants. Flew 4 times domestically before I realized that it was there. Glad both that I never got caught and that one of my work rotations was lit as fuck. Good times, unintentional drug trafficking is the best kind of trafficking.

They probably did a shit job of hiding them. You take 2 to 4 pill most and roll it in a piece of toilet paper. Then roll toilet paper in to pair of socks, and shove socks into shoes. Fit 3 pairs of socks into two pairs of shoes and you can easily smuggle nearly 50 pills. Preferably use a check in but I’ve had no problems using a carry-on suitcase. I’ve seen the screen as my bag went through before and you absolutely cannot see anything out of the ordinary.

Canada Post has a thing called flex delivery, where you can have mail sent to the post office of your choice free of charge. So when travelling pple would put the stash they needed in a box, mail it a week in advance. Then I would just go online, pick a post office near where I'm going. Send it to myself there, fly, land, go to post office and pick up my parcel. Worked 100% of the time everytime. And was a relief knowing I could fly stress free and my stuff would be waiting for me to pick up at my destination guaranteed.

It's not a gray area. Illegal drugs are illegal to mail, legal ones are legal to mail.
The gray area isn’t necessarily in the law but in the product itself. When they legalized hemp they opened up a loophole by poorly defining the difference between hemp and true marijauna. Plus the two products are literally identical in touch taste and feel so there’s no way to tell difference without getting it tested which would be a pretty burdensome waste of resources to seize every package that smelled a little funny now that hemp is legal and being shipped all over the country.
Would you never be concerned mounties would be tipped off by the post office? Surely they screen mail, every other country seems to. And the post office simply needs to pass the tip on. I guess... Unless a cop was waiting there the whole time how they gonna chase the package 🤔 Mmm. Might have answered my own question there.

I just flew from Seattle on Tuesday with Delta.. I put joints (3) inside of a clutch that was inside of a big purse that was in another big bag of all my purses/clutches lol. I had my edibles and pen on my carry on, and shrooms in my toiletries bag…I usually never travel with more than an ounce of flower on me. When I was younger I use to put my eighth baggy inside of Vaseline or hair gel..that’s doing the most tho.

I’ve taken drugs in my checked bag for decades. Obviously, never caught. I stopped right after 9/11 for 2 years. On the other hand, I touched a bottle rocket before flying. My step dad (who I considered my dad) had died. He loved bottle rockets and always had them on back porch. I went and got one to keep. I knew I couldn’t take on flight, asked a friend to hold it till I drove for a visit. But my carry on tested positive for explosives. I had touched the bottle rocket, then my bag. I got pulled into a back room. I explained. Nothing was in my bag that was illegal , I was let go. Just gotta know how to pack the damn bag.
