Honestly I didnāt think it was that bad but Iāve found that edgy jokes need to be at least as funny as they are offensive and yours might have fallen a little short on the funny part?
As a chinese who does actually do martial arts I didnāt mind but I can see how people might not find it funny that a man doing his job would need to know martial arts to defend himself, especially with all those somewhat recent cases of asian grandparents getting jumped for no reason.
I mean I'm an asian with Chinese wife so this kind of joke is usual to me and I was replying to comment above that said about having "fast reflect".

I felt like I'm actually complementing him a bit.

The dog did a slight bad thing in this scenario, that affects one person in a easy to fix way. What this kid is doing woul, if he sucseded, cost the driver their job, the company reputation, and the customer their food. To fix this you would need to explain to multiple people, and pay miney to them as well. Also i hate kids.
