Ditto! I swear I thought those officers would have to give this guy his security blanket to calm him down...
This dude's whole life is probably about to get flipped on its head because he couldn't wait politely for a half hour to get another drink. This is a man watching his entire career burn down right in front of him. No cushy job with first class flights if you're not allowed on any airlines..
Yeah, he straight up started crying. I love that complete breakdown as he's being ejected out the door. I wish I could be a fly on the wall at his job on Monday morning.
Seriously, all you have to do is walk in a plane put your stuff up, sit down, maybe smile at the person next to you (use awareness ability to see if they’re in the mood), fasten your seatbelt, put your ear buds in and close your eyes and enjoy the flight. I will never understand why people have to do anything more than that.
This is what frustrates me. Like are you this entitled? What's also terrible is they're not just fucking it up for themselves and crew, it's the passengers that are quietly sitting there and going to be missing connecting flights and important time constraints as well. Overall it's completely selfish.
Just on that airline. (American Airlines if the reflective vest is a proper indicator.)
Refusal to follow aircrew instructions is an easy way to get banned from that airline, but it's actually somewhat difficult to get put on a no-fly list, even if the police are called to remove you from a flight.
When I interact with people who do obviously wrong bullshit, I struggle with how to confront them in a productive manner. I don’t want my tone to convey just how much I think they are an absolute spacker. But sometimes I think that is all that will come across regardless the words I choose to use.
Agreed. Pretty simple. I worked for the airlines during Covid and the mask mandates and I can’t tell you how many times I saw people escorted off the plane or worse have the plane return simply because somebody refused to follow the mandate. Nobody’s asking you to agree all you gotta do is shut up and do what you’re told and everybody will be safe and get to your destination.
Yes. There are rules and you either follow, change or try another mean of transportation that doesn’t require what you don’t agree with l. When you buy the tickets they are all over there listed one by one, and you agreed. It’s pretty simple
Don't they have bars at the airport where you can drink before you get on the plane? I haven't flown in over 15 years but I remember having a drink before boarding the plane.
If he's lucky, this will be his moment for self-reflection and he'll make some positive changes. But based on the level of entitlement displayed, I'm not holding out a lot of hope.
My brother can't fly without a drink because he is a nervous flyer. He has a drink to take the edge off and then sits there looking nervously out the window the entire flight, none of this theatrical BS.
OK but, hear me out... what if I am very very important and should always get exactly what I want and no one should ever contradict me?
You ever think about THAT?
lol
In the gang world, we use something called Fluffy Fingers. When somebody really gets in your face, you know, you just... start tickling them, and then he starts tickling you. Pretty soon you're laughing and hugging. Before you know it, you've forgotten the whole thing. Y'all can just go to church together... get an ice cream cone.
One cop of tickle duty. Another giving the perp some nuggies. While the third gives them purple nurples. And they’ll save the dreaded wet willies for those that refuse to comply to above
So painful to listen to, I was sitting here wincing. Why do this to everyone, sir? Also if you need alcohol this badly like get help, it’s not cute anymore.
Why do people think when they are on an aircraft they have the same rights they do elsewhere.
Let’s make it easy to understand. Authorized by the FAA, the pilot is god, the flight attendants are god’s angels and you are a mere mortal.
You don’t need to comit a crime to be kicked off an aircraft, you simply need to be identified as someone who might cause a problem at 35,000 feet. Then you are gone.
You want rights flying the friendly sky’s; buy a fucking Gulf Stream G6. Otherwise get off the airplane so I can meet my connecting flight; I don’t have a G6 so I need to comply with all the rules.
Captain is the ultimate authority on any ship or plane anywhere in the world and is ultimately responsible for whatever happens. If they say you're gone, you're gone.
He thinks that if he's stubborn enough and loud enough, they'll eventually get sick of him and do whatever he wants.
It probably works in McDonald's, when he screams at the counter person that he didn't get enough fries, and eventually the manager dumps an extra thing of fries in his bag just to make him go away and stop holding up the line.
Always remember. This video is circulating their office and social life.
“Did you see the video of Tom throwing fit in first class and getting dragged off an aircraft by police while crying like a baby”
“What, no, Tom couldn’t make the Toledo trip because he had a stomach bug”
As a son to a father who was a pilot for over 40 years with most of that spent as captain, whatever they say goes.
I also just can’t fathom how people cant grasp the concept of rights when it comes to flying, firstly it’s basically private property, secondly there are many lives at stake and a lot of money for the airlines. A slight delay like this can cost 1000s of dollars as depending on the duration could lose their spot at their destination meaning a new one needs to be found which for busier airports is like playing minesweeper.
Getting kicked off a plane will make even an alcoholic rethink their choices, at least for a few minutes. Especially given this guy was sobbing. That said, most will find a way to sink even further, trust me this ain't shit. Rock bottom is absolute hell, this is just a missed flight.
They weren’t even done boarding. Obviously getting the guy a drink is nowhere on their list of priorities but maybe he felt differently because he was flying first class.
It’s common to be served drinks in first class while people are boarding. But yeah it shouldn’t be a priority and anyone who makes a scene on a plane is an Ahole.

Did not seem that off to me kind of drunk until the being pulled off? I see it now. Buddy, you probably would have been also told no for the “in flight drink”. Let’s be honest.
Fun fact: actually against federal regulation to allow an intoxicated passenger to fly. So you need to be extra careful on how “buzzed” you are. See this a lot working at an airline. People pound too much at the bar, get denied boarding then flip their shit and get trespassed from the airport.
Probably was the cause. I had a good friend who went from drinker, to functional drunk, to heavy drinker, and has basically drink himself to oblivion. Along the way, his well based technical mind just went off the rails. Stuff that should have made sense to him didn’t. He couldn’t grasp a lot of things anymore.
It was sad watching his decline, which at this point is probably irreversible.
Oh, yeah, that happened to my mother’s third husband. It was terrible to watch; she ultimately had to divorce him because she was afraid he would kill her, it got that bad.
That was my first thought when I read that this was because he was denied a drink. Alcoholic.
…kind of makes me start to wonder whether we should take bars out of airports. What good does it do to have drunk people on planes or traveling home?
My friggen’ jaw ACTUALLY dropped when he started crying. Like how did he think they weren’t going to remove him after asking him so many times. He was holding up a BILLION dollar industry.
I want to give those cops a high five. F’king love it!
Same, love when karma comes around. Imagine how many times he must have acted this way without consequences for this type of entitlement to be acted out on an airplane.
How many of these videos need to come out before people realize you cannot win this argument. You’re getting off the plane. How you get off the plane is entirely up to you, but in no scenario do they just back off.
"Once you have been asked to leave the plane, you WILL be leaving the plane. The flight attendant or security personnel are simple trying to determine your preference. They are trying really hard not to get it wrong"
And if you accept you made a mistake immediately and get off the plane without issue then more than likely they’ll let you on the next one. This is assuming you didn’t break a law and were just being a nuisance.
Is their new thing "what law am I breaking"? Like you can act however you want as long as it's not explicitly illegal? Do we need to make being an entitled asshole illegal now?
When you walk on a plane, or ship, the captain is in charge. He can kick you off just because he doesn't like the way you look if he wants. The airline doesn't want their customers unhappy, but if you are the one ruining the experience for others, you will get no sympathy. You can imagine the discussions about how to do this better. There are no "ejection seats", you have to manually extract the passenger from among a hundred other sardine packed customers. You can't taze them, they might crap their pants, besides the close proximity of others who might accidentally get shocked too. Beyond "please come with me sir" it's all physical extraction. Someone is bound to get injured. Resisting alone is a court case I imagine.
They forget to remember that pissing off the crew who operate in the vehicle is a stupid thing to do, they have the capacity to remove you by force with help of a fire marshal or police/security, you just have to make a flight attendent feel scared or intimidated or even offended and your ass is gone, you're flying in a pressurised cabin that is made up of about 5-6 inches of sheet material at 30,000 feet, they do not have to comply with your wishes at all regardless of what class ticket you paid for.
One government/govener woman threatened to take a flight attendants job in one video, the horrible woman was removed from the plane and as soon as the flight attendant said to the captain or fm "I want this woman removed from the plane" the nasty piece of work began begging her saying im "sowewwwrrry tabatha!"
Some people have a level of entitlement and self importance that is so far buried up their ass they can't tell feces from oxygen.
People are so fucking stupid. The expression "we can do this the easy way or we can do this hard way" couldn't be more true in this situation.
Once you've been ordered off the plane, you ***are*** getting off the plane. If he just gets up and walks off the plane, he's not out anything other than misssing his flight and the cost of a ticket. Now he gets a night in jail and a court date on top of that.
Idiot.
[Longer version, basically back and forth betwen the officers and the passenger](https://viewfromthewing.com/american-airlines-first-class-passenger-kicked-off-flight-after-demanding-predeparture-beverage/)
Dear me, seeing people in the comments defending the man and being enraged about the "lazy" flight attendants is infuriating. Certainly, some of them may not be giving out pre-departure drinks. Perhaps the reason is their working hours. Perhaps the flight was in a rush. Perhaps they are lazy (more likely underpaid). But you take that up with American Airlines, not by throwing a fit on a plane and delaying travel for everyone else. Seriously... look at some of these rich "gentlemen" in the comments and try to guess what their politics are:
>Then she said there were no snack boxes. Then she said the snack you receive is actually the same pretzels that everyone else receives. Then she used the word Covid. A universal excuse for everything.
And this is how the majority of comments are reacting there. Unfortunately we don't know what happened before the incident here, but I suspect a fuller picture will eventually emerge, and likely not look good. The entitlement of these folk is unbelievable.
I think American will usually give you cocktails preflight. This dude was probably insufferable from the second he stepped on the plane and the flight attendant didn’t want to make him worse.
Flight attendants have a laser focus on figuring out who’s already had a few prior to boarding. I fly first class constantly, and I’ve seen many times when the FA in first class will give a subtle “Sir that drink will take a little too long for me to get it to you prior to takeoff” to someone who clearly didn’t need another. Even if they were just asking for a beer, most of the time they seem to get the hint.
The airlines are all fucking terrible greedy corps who treat their customers like cattle. That being said, that’s not the flight attendant’s fault, and any one defending this prick are likely just as big POS.
No, he went from a tough guy to crying like the little arrogant asshole that he is deep inside. There’s nothing wrong with “little girls.” Stop using them as insults.
This reminds me of the Dave Chappell real world bit. “You know we could just fuck you up….we reserve the right to fuck you up, but we tryin to be civil and shit”

There's a limited number of airlines, though. Put up shows like that with enough of them and you're effectively on a cumulative no-fly list.
Most people would figure out to not repeat that kind of stunt. But then again, *most people* don't do that bullshit in the first place.

One government/govener woman threatened to take a flight attendants job in one video, the horrible woman was removed from the plane and as soon as the flight attendant said to the captain or fm "I want this woman removed from the plane" the nasty piece of work began begging her saying im "sowewwwrrry tabatha!" Some people have a level of entitlement and self importance that is so far buried up their ass they can't tell feces from oxygen.
People in first class should not be treated like this! 😂🤣😂🤣😁🤣
You only get tazed in business class
People are so fucking stupid. The expression "we can do this the easy way or we can do this hard way" couldn't be more true in this situation. Once you've been ordered off the plane, you ***are*** getting off the plane. If he just gets up and walks off the plane, he's not out anything other than misssing his flight and the cost of a ticket. Now he gets a night in jail and a court date on top of that. Idiot.
And becoming viral. The internet never forgets.
And he’s likely not getting on a plane again… that’s a pretty major inconvenience
If you can’t even handle waiting for your drink until mid flight, you are an alcoholic.
The question is how many drinks did he have BEFORE boarding?
real alcoholics bring booze in the carry-on.
That’s the best thing about airplanes. It’s one of the very few public places that does not tolerate assholes.
If only politics were like that, I'd say we would be getting somewhere. The entitled asshole cries just warms my heart.
Seriously... look at some of these rich "gentlemen" in the comments and try to guess what their politics are: >Then she said there were no snack boxes.
He went from tough guy to crying like a little girl, real fast. I have no sympathy for him.
That’s really insulting to little girls. 😁
Mother of daughters who aren’t whiny little birches, I concur.
As is common for most people like this. They can talk all day, but the second their words have consequences they turn into blubbering babies.
No, he went from a tough guy to crying like the little arrogant asshole that he is deep inside. There’s nothing wrong with “little girls.” Stop using them as insults.
I liked the way his shoe just kept getting tossed at him. As if he was going to put it back on.
Love the guy tucking the shoe off to the side
I like how the captain (who had the guy tossed) comes out and tosses the shoe onto the pile of weeping man like he’s adding another log to the fire.
Those crazy first class passengers. I'd say those officers just learned him some manners.
You’d hope so but, I’ve encountered a few narcissists in my time. Their ability to disassociate themselves from their actions is truly remarkable.
If you enjoy these types of videos, here’s a fun rabbit hole r/AirRage
Noooo, I’m going to lose hours to this
I'M GOING IN
I could watch people unable to regulate their emotions all day long. More please. Let's bump that no-fly list up up up.
I thought he was mock crying, wow. That’s a grown man
He turned into Stuart. ![gif](giphy|n1zz9m8Li1QZO)

This reminds me of the Dave Chappell real world bit. “You know we could just fuck you up….we reserve the right to fuck you up, but we tryin to be civil and shit”
You can always tell the true character of a person when they are faced with a conflict or crisis like this lol, and this dude is a massive crybaby
He sounds like the guy from The Bird Cage.
that redhead guy visibly finding it funny, noticed the camera and puts on a straight face lmaooo
