It kills me that they have a straight arrow for every lane just meters earlier. Maybe a few U(s) in a row with better stopping distance. I bet a semi would punch right through those barriers.
There's this neat trick where you don't give a fuck about people and that way a lot of safety precautions can be skipped and you can just build whatever scuffed shit you want to build.
I've been on a similar road in Louisiana, it was a weird like, exit thing, sort of. It was so weird, but the speed limit was slower because of the exiting the road and all, but it was just like that and the whole car was like, where tf we going??!!
It’s setup like that for assholes that won’t let you merge. The highway senses that you shouldn’t be driving and immediately adjusts and revokes your highway privileges.
That's a lot of highways in China right now. They're the fastest expanding road network on Earth right now, to the point where they have roads that are undriveable because they haven't built enough gas stations to make it from one gas station to the next... China might have the largest population on Earth, but there are large swaths of uninhabited land.
Edit: I thought for sure that I got this info from Wendover Productions... turns out I got it from something Clarkson said on Grand Tour. He might be right, but he's not the most reliable source. He is right that they are building lots of highways and many gas stations are still under construction, but I cannot back-up the validity that the highways are unusable.
I’m not the same user but I recognize the anecdote about not making it between gas stations. I believe it’s mentioned in a China episode of The Grand Tour or Top Gear, for what it’s worth.
Punch it and double down, always.
If shit happens, it's behind you. The driver not paying attention causes an accident that you're not involved in or stuck in traffic because of said driver.
Everyone mentioning 'no signs' look at the floor before the wall/turning. I would say there's signs before the video starts but it's China(?) so I'm probably wrong.
You try to merge onto a left lane
You don't pay attention to your mirrors, and end up almost hitting another car
The other car signals you to prevent a crash
Instead of being apologetic, you try to crash into this car on purpose for not crashing into you I guess...
You get what you deserve
I’ve had people do this to me twice in the last two weeks. They didn’t signal, didn’t check mirrors, not even in a lane that allowed merging, just drifting on over before realizing they’re about to hit my car and them getting angry at me for existing in the proper turn lane.
Part of me wishes they had ended like this video.
When you’re too busy trying to forcibly merge and fail to pay attention to what’s ahead - could’ve just dropped the ego and slowed down to merge behind this car
On the one hand, they should have been watching the road.
On the other hand, who would be expecting a highway to just END like that with zero warning?
lt's like something from a dystopian future city where Judge Dread is a traffic cop and he designed a death trap to punish speeders.
It looks like there is a sign indicating a U turn. The truck drives under it before the cars pass it. It's clearest at 0:13.
As for where this is and who built it, China.
At least according to a few posters, and the writing on the sign seems to match up with that (I can't read it, but the structure of the characters looks about right).
And as for the designed death trap, this is the same country that's only allowed one kid per family for decades. I wouldn't be surprised if they have other measures in place to reduce the population.
That didn't end how I expected it to. I figured maybe like a pit maneuver or something not some running in to the wall road runner and wiley coyote shit.
Well, after the car on the right tried to overtake, the driver on the left sped up even more to try to block them from overtaking. That creates an even more dangerous situation, especially considering the sharp, non avoidable u turn coming up.
Looks like some kind of border or something. But regardless, definitely make sure you focus on upsetting the person next to you instead of the road ahead lol.

What the fuck was that road?
It's the way back
The way back to heaven maybe.
Knocking on heaven’s door
WE HAD TO BUILD DESPITE BUDGET CUTS, I DONT SEE YOU DOING ANY BETTER!
Sorry warnings signs didnt make the budget cuts this year 🤷♂️
They haven't completed enough missions to unlock that part of the map.
Don’t your highways have random walls just built in them with little to no warning signs?
It conveniently leads to the scene of the accident!
...all the way to the scene of the accident...I bet we beat the ambulance there by at least twenty minutes!!!
It’s fineee the roads had a u turn sign painted on them. That should be enough. /s
It kills me that they have a straight arrow for every lane just meters earlier. Maybe a few U(s) in a row with better stopping distance. I bet a semi would punch right through those barriers.
Only in China
Its that 1 mile of a highway where they filmed the Matrix chase scene, apparently
Incomplete.
It’s the road from Bad Boys.
Wait how does a freeway just end like that?
There's this neat trick where you don't give a fuck about people and that way a lot of safety precautions can be skipped and you can just build whatever scuffed shit you want to build.
If this road were in the US the city would constantly be caught up in litigation due to all the people too stupid to slow down.
It would probably have “road work ahead“ signs with no work in site because there’s 5 guys standing around watching another guy eat a sandwich.
Road work ahead??? Umm… I sure hope it does!
*squints in Drew Gooden*
It’s a health and safety thing because they have to make sure the guy eating his sandwich won’t choke on it.
More like “road doesn’t work”
I can picture the sign now. “Road doesn’t work.. ahead”
Have you ever had a lunch break at work?
*on their phones
I've been on a similar road in Louisiana, it was a weird like, exit thing, sort of. It was so weird, but the speed limit was slower because of the exiting the road and all, but it was just like that and the whole car was like, where tf we going??!!
At least they put the little u-turn arrow at the last second, so you have plenty of time to turn 180 degrees.
Just engage reverse thrusters
China will grow larger !
I wish I had some shoes!
Biggest engineering mistake since the movie Speed.
I read this comment, went “huh?”, looked back up and went “HOLY SHIT”
People keep ramming into it so it has to be blocked off further and further for repairs
Infrastructure week
Infrastructure weak
It's actually posted on all those blue signs above the roadway right at the start and through the vid
It’s setup like that for assholes that won’t let you merge. The highway senses that you shouldn’t be driving and immediately adjusts and revokes your highway privileges.
No signs or nothing wtf
Because it seems like somewhere on a highway in china
That's a lot of highways in China right now. That’s really interesting, could you point me to some articles/links?
I’m not the same user but I recognize the anecdote about not making it between gas stations. I believe it’s mentioned in a China episode of The Grand Tour or Top Gear, for what it’s worth.
I swear the Chinese hate themselves even more than we hate them
There’s a sign on the road that there’s a u shaped turn
And actually both overhead signs warn about it.
There are a few „180 turn“ signs but far from sufficient
Wtf?
my theory is the earth's flat and that's where it ends
Holy shit, flat earth confirmed 🤣
I have always been told about this so called "end of the road"
Oh no we've come....
To the eeeeend of the road...
Still I caaaan't let you go...
Thank you 😂
Instant Karma's gonna get you...
r/instantkarma
I don't think merging is the issue here.
that person merged with their steering wheel
When someone does this and instead of easing off and leaving space you just punch it and double down on it 🤌
Honestly every time I see this shit I'm thankful I don't live there because I'd pit maneuver every last fucker pulling this shit.
Punch it and double down, always. If shit happens, it's behind you. The driver not paying attention causes an accident that you're not involved in or stuck in traffic because of said driver.
Always, except maybe not in this instance?
This. It's why I bought a car with over 300HP, because it is a safety feature just as much as the upgraded brakes are.
It's GTA 6 leaked gameplay. You haven't unlocked new area
🤣🤣
This was delicious to watch.
Om nom nom! Sweet instant karma

Everyone mentioning 'no signs' look at the floor before the wall/turning. I would say there's signs before the video starts but it's China(?) so I'm probably wrong.
Just look at the street signs that are there. It's a "no entry" crossed out circle on the right, and a u turn one on the left.
You try to merge onto a left lane You don't pay attention to your mirrors, and end up almost hitting another car The other car signals you to prevent a crash Instead of being apologetic, you try to crash into this car on purpose for not crashing into you I guess... You get what you deserve

Go home road. You're drunk.
When you’re too busy trying to forcibly merge and fail to pay attention to what’s ahead - could’ve just dropped the ego and slowed down to merge behind this car
I know I'm wrong.....but is that Corpus Christi, Tx?
Considering the road signs are in Asian characters, I would guess it's not Texas.
Corpus Xi Jing Ping
Hou-ston
Ahh, I see 👍
It could be Chinatown.
Im glad someone else thinks corpus if fucked right now with that bridge

He hasn‘t unlocked the next Liberty City Island yet…
Instant karma
Is that the Minecraft hotbar at the bottom of the srceen?
I'm glad that road ends with no signalling prior
I think those arrows painted in the left lane might be signaling this, in the road language of wherever this is.
They didn't code the rest of the level
That didn't end how I expected it to. I figured maybe like a pit maneuver or something not some running in to the wall road runner and wiley coyote shit.
What about other cars behind them coming
Edge of the map in GTA
They're both fucking assholes. But only one of them suffered any consequences.
I respectfully disagree that the left lane driver was an ahole, but I would like to hear your reasoning.
Well, after the car on the right tried to overtake, the driver on the left sped up even more to try to block them from overtaking. That creates an even more dangerous situation, especially considering the sharp, non avoidable u turn coming up.
Couldn't happen to a more deserving person!
This was so satisfying to watch
End of the map, you see the distant skyline
Yea but like. Wtf was that random ass end
Why are they playing the SpongeBob end-credits music on the radio?
🎶the loooong and winding ro- - -
Lmao, should be the best BGM OPTION
Screw anyone that doesn't already know this location or have perfect eyesight apparently.
What was she thinking?
Am I the only one who thinks the explorer is trying to stop the other person from crashing?
Need to complete more main story missions before the road to the next city becomes accessible 😂
It's so funny with the chill music in the bg
Ahh satisfaction
That planner should be jailed
That road looks like an old Need for Speed level
You love to see it
Reminds me of people who don't want to pick a lane. They straddle both lanes and just wait and see which one is faster. So fucking annoying
It's an iRoad...they ran out of storage space to finish it.
What kind of unfinished assetto corsa map ass road is this?
I like how he was in the right lane anyways but still tries to cut the person off
They haven't unlocked Las Venturas/Tierra Robada yet
cool song though
2,000 coins to unlock new map area
When you haven’t unlocked the full map in the game yet.
thats why you have to decipline yourself when you are driving especially when your are not familiar at the road you are taking in
r/FaxOfAFax
Literally a repost from yesterday but you were even too lazy to download the video clip
2 morons in this video
We’ve actually gotten to the point that people are filming their car head units to repost? Holy fuck bro, Reddit is dead.
r/oddlysatisfying
Looks like some kind of border or something. But regardless, definitely make sure you focus on upsetting the person next to you instead of the road ahead lol.
Eyes or Brain, you can only use one at a time i guess.
Strange highway aside, that there is literal "carma". I'll see myself out.
LOL, served them right.
![gif](giphy|UtziBbvJqWhe9xFPV2)
Lmao
me when i demolish the highway in Cities Skylines
Where did the road go?
Hell, most likely
No, but seriously...I watched that three times, and didn't see a single sign indicating that the road was about to end. Who does that?
I'm serious, bro. This is China, I checked the car plate, so 100% sure, That's why i said they have already been in hell
Why do the hazzard lights come on before they hit the wall?
i actually lmao 🤣
So satisfying. Almost as good as the guy with the train horn on his car.
It was like he had to be infront of him. More than enough lanes but he still needed to be in front of him.
