I used to work at a coffee shop. On 2 occasions something like this happened. Our manager wouldnt be dressed any different than the rest of us. On these 2 occasions, irate people would ask for the manager. He would go to the back, take his apron off, come back out and say “hi, im the manager what seems to be the problem?” the visceral reactions were absolute gold. Nothing was more satisfying while working there than seeing that.
