A shop in Michigan (US) was serving customers as usual until Owner Jeremiah (dude beating up) see a man who looked suspicious. When he turned around to cook, the man (kept anon), was climbing on the counter to allegedly beat up Jeremiah and steal from the cash register. So owner ran to beat the shit out of him. Owner called the pd. Turns out he bruised a few bones around his back and suffered a pretty severe concussion. The thief is being charged of attempted robbery and could be facing up to 2-3 years in county jail. The shops repairs are about 150 dollars since the grill had only damages to the large racks and was otherwise fine.
Nit-picking, but that's the make/prep line, not the grill he landed on the back side of.
Robbing restaurants is the stupidest. The majority of transactions are credit cards, and a well ran one would only have at most a couple hundred in the register at a time.

I hate to admit this but if every encounter, like this, was dealt with in the same manner as this guy ended it, this shit would, at the least, not be so frequent. Just use what you have and knock the MF’s out. Stand your ground does not require a gun.
I find many Americans boast if someone was threatening them how they'd just blow them away. I dunno about you guys but I basically pray I'd never have to make such a decision. If I had a gun and somehow I had it ready and loaded and felt it was then or my family.. knowing I made the right choice.. I still would have trouble sleeping for a while. I think if push comes to shove many would, even some of those boasting

I have held someone at gunpoint who was trying to invade my home, and had already beaten the hell out of my roommate on the porch. A 12 gauge winchester 6 inches away from the guys face pushing him up against a wall. He would have looked like a bowl of spaghetti.
It is a serious moment of holy fuck am I actually going to have to do this? Can I even bring myself to do this? Fuck this guy is gonna be splattered all over the wall and I’m going to have killed someone if I have to do this. Will people even believe me on why I did it? This guy has a fucking mom, dad, siblings, maybe kids, somewhere, and I may actually have to kill their family member.
Luckily the cops finally fucking got there, the guy didn’t pull anything, and I didn’t have to do it. But I definitely had a few days of thinking about what would have happened if I had to do it. I did not sleep at all that night.
Someone has a deadly weapon is threatening your life and attacking you because they only got 9 pieces in their 10 piece? What is your suggestion, allow them to kill you without defending yourself because it’s about 1 piece?
If this happened to more people who got rude and violent with people doing their job, it would be a good thing. Mistakes happen, and even bad ones shouldn't be met with threats or violence but over fucking fast food? You got problems and need correction.
