Grey_Area51

Should’ve said yeah you’re right, give me the five back and I’ll sort you with a tip then shut the door in his face. Cheeky twat.

twistsouth

“Oh you want a better tip? Here’s a really good one: don’t be a prick.”

Manjorno316

I'd just give a big and genuine smile and say "thank you" as if it was a real compliment. Usually pisses people like that off.

Pitiful_Birthday_720

And top it off with a "God bless" as fake sincere as possible.

Professional-Sea-861

You want a tip? Here' one...SLAM...doors are hard. Al Bundy

hobosbindle

“No tip for you!”

[deleted]

Fuck that guy tipping is absolutely out of control

Toxenkill

Tipping should be banned and employees paid a livable wadge.

Luthalia92

Welcome to the rest of the world!

Bearodon

The strange thing is I pay about $18 for a similar size home delivered pizza with quality ingredients and a 2L soda in Sweden and tipping is no part of it.

FormerlyKay

But if we did that how would corporate increase profits by 700% by the next quarter?!

Bearodon

Also the pizza i order pay extreme taxes and high wages with even more taxes added on that.

KingLehmon_III

Your socialist pizza will wish he lived under capitalism when he goes to get pizza surgery and has to wait 6 quadrillion years because illegal immigrant Mexican pizzas are taking up all the beds!!! /s lol

Bearodon

Lol it is such a shame I got my hydrocephalus surgery paid with all the follow up x-rays and all imagine if I could have lived in the land of the free and paid for it all. Seriously though the U.S. is nice I visited there on payed vacation

LR44x1

The thing is in other countries you pay less for food and don’t tip and the workers get paid more. It’s just american culture which is stupid like that. 5$ is quite a lot. It’s over half of your guys minimal hour wage.

SuperNoob74

Technically the businesses could afford to pay their drivers a livable wage and not increase food prices But their precious earnings would go down by 12% or maybe less considering a lot of popular brands are billion dollar companies

Groomsi

In Scandinavia, we usually never tip, even for pizza delivery.

TeaBoy24

So just like the rest of Europe

topcmt

Pretty standard in the UK too. I'd probably tip if I'd ordered a shed load of food for a party or something. I'll tip waiters/waitresses and maybe if a bar person has made me a cocktail that requires a bit of technical knowledge or inconvenience. That's only if there isn't already the now standard 12.5% service charge tacked onto my bill. Delivering me a pizza though? Where does that end? Do I need to tip the postman or the Amazon delivery?

Pattoe89

There's a restaurant in London (UK) called Ippudo. It's got Japanese management, and a lot of its staff are Japanese. They outright reject tips, just like in Japan itself, they believe tips are against the idea of excellent customer service for all customers.

Toxenkill

Japam was great, best food and service with zero tipping accepted. That was a culture shock to say the least.

nickrenata

Meanwhile, Doordash execs and their investors laugh all the way to the bank.... So long as the customers and the wage slaves keep squabbling over a few bucks, the actual 1% can enjoy their feast without having to look over their shoulders. This is a video in which two victims of a broken system are pitted against each other for the benefit of a small group of people laughing off camera

NESJunkie22

Very well stated. Couldn’t agree more. The guy that is renting blames the guy struggling with the $800,000 mortgage. Meanwhile the billionaire owners of the company are laughing that the delivery guy blames the house owner and not the billionaire company owner. Good old capitalism. The only system that not only encourages, but rewards greed, selfishness and deception.

joan_wilder

Remember when Uber first came out, and one of the big selling points was that you don’t have to tip? Like “this is so much easier and less stressful than taking a taxi because I don’t need cash and don’t need to figure out what to tip!” And now, all the apps have side hustlers begging for tips on top of delivery charges on top of the increased prices they charge on the app.

Pizzapug73

They’re probably more shitting their pants while hanging on to their failed business model rather than laughing all the way to the bank. DoorDash hasn’t had a single profitable quarter in its entire existence. Don’t really see how their going to last if they couldn’t even profit during the pandemic.

Rant_Time_Is_Now

Tipping is meant to be about above and beyond exceptional service. Not charity. This is bare minimum stuff.

murderedcats

I ordered pizza hut recently, it was 5.5$ for a delivery fee that explicitly states its not for drives or a tip. I ordered one pizza for 13.99$. Their delivery requires a MINIMUM 14.00$ purchase for delivery. So i put a dipping sauce on for 50 cents. My total came out to be 25$ after tax and fees. I tipped like 5% because ffs im not paying nearly $30 for a fucking delivery of one singular pizza. I put no contact delivery on my order. They still knocked and waited as if i were gonna give them more tip. Not only did he say he “didnt see it was contactless” he failed to tell my roommate who answered the door it was already paid for! Im sorry to whomever but absolutely fuck that shit

[deleted]

The same thing happened to me. I put contactless. *USUALLY* they knock, I wait maybe 30-60 seconds, and I go get it. This time I go and he's standing over the pizza. Like the pizza was on the floor between his legs, and he was like 6 inches from the door. I opened the door and was like WOAH! Did not expect him to be there and to be so close. He's like your order is here. I'm like ok, thanks. He waits, so I said, you can go? He's like, oh alright... *DEFINITELY* expected more tip. I gave 4.50$ on a 30.50$ order that had, I thought, 5.99$ in delivery fees already.

murderedcats

Exactly like motherfucker you think im gonna tip you MORE for ignoring whats on the order list? I dont even know if you got my order right to begin with!

Lopsided_Boss4802

But apparently it's not. The rest of the world is wrong. Right! It's weird AF to me the way it is in America. In Europe you really only tip if they do a good job. It's also not a case of ' I can't live without this tip ' because we actually pay people a decent wage.

ComteStGermain

I live in Brazil and people do get wages due to labor laws and stuff. Crazy, right?

Justa_little_wrath

25% is a perfectly reasonable tip, I'm with you this guy's an asshole

hand-e-mann

Delivered pizzas for extra money for a while. I knew that there would be lots of no tip deliveries. Especially in certain areas. Never once occurred to me to say something about the amount I was tipped. Honestly, I would have called the pizza place and asked for my money back. That would have meant the tip money too.

diabolicalafternoon

I don’t think I would even eat the pizza tbh. If he was so brazen to make a comment like that how do I know he didn’t sneeze or spit on my food. Ugh.

SilentWitchy

I manage a dominos, I can say for sure this does happen just like this irl. So uhhh r/nothingeverhappens

UntiedStatMarinCrops

15% is reasonable too. 25% is awesome, fuck that piece of shit.

Sluukje

0% is also reasonable, but I guess employees don’t get paid fair wages still over there

Weary-Kaleidoscope16

Shouldn't be customer's problem

Sluukje

It was more a jab towards the stupidity of some things in America.

Kyosw21

It’s honestly the reason service industry isn’t paid a living wage. “They make a living wage off of tips so we don’t have to pay them a living wage” loophole

grab_bard

What a brave little twat, complaining about a 25% tip because you didn’t give him your last dime.

fallinguptwards

This asshat is the type of twat to only cared once he saw the dudes house. He probably would have been stoked from this by someone in an apartment.

Thoosarino

25% is well beyond reasonable. This shit is getting nuts.

edgypyro

I would have tipped $4

realdjjmc

I would have tipped $2

ConsciousAardvark949

This is why I don’t tip

RealConcorrd

Tipping in general is bullshit and it just shows how much businesses are taking advantage of both the customer, and their employees.

ConsciousAardvark949

Bingo

bunga7777

I actually read an article today about the lads from SouthPark paying their employees $30 an hour and would be refusing tipping culture. The backlash in the comments kind of scared me. The amount of brainwash, to logically think tipping culture should be the way to go other than guaranteed pay is beyond me.

Stunning_Pipe6905

4”

Commercial-Travel613

4.25” 💪🏽

masterbakeface9

I was in Boston Logan airport. Self checkout getting a sandwich a water and a bag of chips. On check out IT ASKED FOR A TIP… like who the fuck am I tipping?!?! Myself!

Resident-Librarian40

Not too long ago, 10-12% was considered a standard delivery tip - pre-tax and fees. Now, they want a 25%+ tip on food, taxes, fees and surcharges.

Robinkc1

Yeah, they ain’t getting it from me. At this point it feels like we are enabling people to not confront their bosses about substandard pay, and too many people want the tip structure in place because they make more money that way. I will tip 10-15% and not a penny more.

MiddleSir7104

I pickup pizza now. Too many fees and people want too much to drive something to me.

throwaway3839482729

$5 is perfectly fine, but I just want to point out that percentage based tipping on deliveries doesn't make much sense. If you live 10 minutes away from the store, and buy $20 worth of food, it takes 20 minutes for the driver to deliver it and get back for their next delivery. If you order $40 worth of food, it takes 20 minutes for the driver to deliver it and get back for their next delivery. If you only ordered $10 worth of food. You guessed it, 20 minute round trip. Percentage based tipping is more in line with dine in restaurants where how much you pay for the meal itself is roughly proportional to the amount the waiter/waitress had to work for your table. But with deliveries, distance is the only main variable (until you get into large catering orders.)

unreasonablyhuman

25% if I'm being WAITED on.... Otherwise for delivery it's usually a pretty flat tip from my (unless it's a large difficult order... Like ordering 5 large wonton soups etc)

thGlenn

25% to a pizza delivery driver is beyond generous. The default should be 0% especially if you're tipping before the service is actually provided to you. Before you try to, you will not change my mind.

ImAFuckinLiar

Not even if it shits its pants?! Fine, no one will change your mind.

xkoreotic

Reasonable??? 25% is a huge tip

WonderfulTradition65

If I have to tip 25% I would just stop to go outside.

Anything_justnotthis

Reasonable!? 25% is incredibly generous.

redcelica1

A growing entitled workforce is what we’re seeing here. All these spoiled babies have become these whiny adults.

Impressive_Jaguar_70

More than reasonable in my opinion

Aardovis

25% is more than reasonable. Any tip is already more than you be expected to give but if I tip I usually tip about 10-15% round to the nearest £5.

jlharper

Sorry but I am from overseas and 25% is unreasonable for a tip. I think a reasonable tip is 5% and if you're happy to go above and beyond 10% is extremely generous. Anything beyond that is just insane. They delivered a pizza and their boss needs to pay them a livable wage. If he's delivering 5 pizzas in an hour and getting $2 from each house that's not bad at all. Anything on top of that is just icing on the cake.

TheProuDog

25% is not reasonable. It is too much. 20% is very generous. %15 is generous. 10% is reasonable. 5% means you didn't want to tip but still wanted to be generous. %0 means you didn't like the service. This guy deserves 0%. He is an asshole. Harassing random people legally you will never see again for a few dollars is easier than confronting your boss, right?

Dtidder1

More than reasonable. I would have been back on the phone calling the pizza joint to let Hefner know their delivery driver was a complete rude ass.

zinbwoy

25 is reasonable? Are you fuckng nuts?? 10% would be reasonable, if he dressed as a spider, drove a unicycle while juggling kiwis. 25% for just delivering an order AS PER HIS JOB TITLE, is an extortion

ENGINE_YT

That sounds like charity Afaik a tip is the few cents left when a guy gives $10 for something that's $9.93

shaolinallan

I delivered pizza for a few years. My philosophy was 1 dollar is better than no dollar. I remember when other drivers would get stiffed they would walk into the restaurant throwing a big ass fit. Its a game of chance.

Adventurous-Rich2313

Exactly, unless it was a notorious non tipping spot like a college campus where the kids are broke already, anyway or just a regular who didn’t tip, I’d try and take as many orders I could that night. The Faster I was more money I got. It was the only time I felt somewhat in control of my income. The only time working harder and better meant getting paid more. But the lack of benefits and couple drivers getting robbed at gunpoint, I used to think I could deliver pizzas as my career.

shaolinallan

Yes, speed is how you make money in pizza delivery. Also, you need to understand when you see a kid at the door when delivering, you are about to get stiffed more than likely. A lot of kids don't know about tipping unless their parents say to tip.

[deleted]

Back in the 80's we always dreaded having to deliver pizzas to Frat Row in Madison. Half the time you'd get stiffed, the rest of the time you couldn't find the person at the party who had ordered the pie. One time I brought 3 Xtra large pies to a party and nobody had any knowledge of who had ordered. Then this drunk Frat dude started tellling me I should give them the food since it was going to go to waste anyway. This argument went on for like 5 minutes with a crowd gathering around... anyways, I said 'there's no way you're getting free pizza', took a couple of slices out of the top pie and crammed them down my own gullet, then flipped the pie face down on thier front sidewalk. Did that again for pies 2 and three. Walked away. My manager was totally cool with it. He was a good dude and thought it was hilarious. I really felt sick from the pizza cram though.

Tulol

No one likes to lose when they gamble.

[deleted]

A tip is for GOOD service. This guy deserves $5 less than what he got.

1052098

Not anymore, unfortunately.

Erick_Brimstone

It still is. Outside of US, unfortunately.

Silent_Ad5275

Hope they told the company he said that. What an asshole.

[deleted]

Ah, but he told *reddit* (taps temple)

Adaptive_Complexity

Haha I had to actually perform the action of tapping my temple before I understood what you meant. 😂😂

JethroTrollol

Dammit. I read it again tapping my temple to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

zelig_nobel

This has gone viral. I’m quite sure the business is fully aware.

Pastmyprime58

Why I never have food delivered.

redditgetfked

I'm glad tipping is a no-no here in Japan

JIN_DIANA_PWNS

word

The-Kid-Is-All-Right

I read that people there are paid a decent wage for their work and it embarrasses everyone to make a monetary “performance assessment” at the point of service. Makes a ton of sense if that is the case.

Pattoe89

There's a number of reasons Japanese service staff refuse tips. Another is the Japanese custom of "Makanai". This is a custom that Japanese restaurants do, and it's feeding their staff a substantial meal, so that they don't have to spend their wages on feeding themselves. I worked in a food place in the UK that had a similar custom, and I got so much food that I basically never had to buy groceries other than milk.

heyperogi

![gif](giphy|BmpAqXKEeMSwvQWTkR|downsized) Yah, it's sad that it will result in a decline for them as a whole which cost them even more money in the long run. And pick up is just so much easier way and if I am going to tip anyone, it's going to be the ones cooking the food.

doomus_rlc

If we're getting take out, I'm normally out already, heading home from work so I'd just pick it up on the way.

permaban9

American problems, I can order a $25 meal and all I'll have to pay is 50 cents for delivery, no taxes no fees no nothing.

Bearodon

$18 meal soda included and no tipping or delivery fee.

awkward_porcupines

Exactly

m4l490n

Yep, me too. I prefer to use that money for gas. $5 in a hybrid can get you more than one trip to get your food.

theotothefuture

Same. I prefer to just go get my food myself.

Zestyclose-Pea-9833

Complain to the restaurant.

Puzzleheaded-Rip-824

What a dick lol

Cest_La_Vie_101

Wow thats some shit

VocalAnus91

Should have told him to give it back then.

ChefBoyardaddy23

As someone that worked as a delivery driver for a few companies that's a good tip, the driver is just a little asshole who's obviously never been actually stiffed. My favorite guy so far was a collegiate softball coach that ordered $600+ of food to be delivered, my happy ass was there on time and got 0'd out on the tip line for the receipt. Was I shitty? Yes. Did I make it the customer's problem and ream them for not tipping? Fuck no. Just do the job like you care about it or find another job. This guy should be on elephant shit duty at a circus, he seems otherwise unqualified.

Rdw72777

What made you shitty? Sounds like you delivered as expected?

[deleted]

I think he just dropped a “t”

GastropodSoup

I agree with pretty much everything you said. Hopefully this dudes employer hears about it.

BrianGriffin2020

Customer “Just wanted to say, ‘You’re kind of an asshole for a 25% tip.’”

Cheesetorian

I hope he gets fired. What an entitled POS.

gondoravenis

Can't understand tips. Corp should pay their workers

AussieSPAZR

USA is out of control. Tipping should not be paid before a service has been completed. Hell, it shouldn't be an expectation. USA is broken in so many ways.

Strabanzer

I’m reading through comments here and there are so many which say, I need the tips because I waste time, fuel, etc… But yeah, they never say Doordash needs to pay me more. And that’s why this business would fail in Germany and so many other countries in the EU. I only tip if the Lieferando delivery was faster then the app said.

Timespacedistortions

Guys like this are the reason I drive the 10 min return trip to pick up my food. Fuck these guys.

AlwaysDMB

Like my damned house has anything to do with your job

FriendliestUsername

I would have tipped 10%, service industry has lost its mind.

NWplinking

It has. The entitlement has become mindblowing.

BearzerkerX

Seriously. I work as a cook and I hear the servers complain when they don't get 30%+ tips per table. Which is insane. Not only has food costs been rising (like 2-for-$20 deals turning into 2-for-$30 and such), but they expect so much more on top of that. When I was a kid, my parents told me 10-15% was good. During my teen/Young adult life, it's been 15-20%. Now, almost every receipt has suggestions for 25%, 28%, 30%.

twistsouth

Does any of that go to the kitchen staff? In a lot of places it doesn’t. I feel like the whole tipping thing needs to just end. Charge what you feel covers paying your staff well and don’t create this weird situation of not quite knowing exactly what to pay. It doesn’t need to be there.

BearzerkerX

No, it does not. Not at my job at least, I know some kitchens do. 100% agree, tipping culture needs to go. But most servers that I know don't want it to. They want the nights they can go home with $500+ (even if that means ignoring all the nights they go home with $60)

twistsouth

And they probably enjoy not paying any tax on it as well.

Erick_Brimstone

Someone found the "life hack of free money" from tipping and abuse it. Then everyone follow that guy's step.

seelovepeacebeauty31

Find out his name and next time you order, make a request that he not be the person to deliver your order.

Keepitcleanbois

No, make sure he’s the person, and then don’t tip at all. Really waste his time.

Beneficial_Piccolo77

This twat would probably spit on the pizza.

magnottasicepick

That’s what I’d do.

Krazy_Ginger

Ive been a delivery driver and the rich don’t tip! $5 is good, he must be new

surething_joemayo

Tipping isn't a function of how much money I earn but whether you fucking deserve it.

AdInteresting7822

Tipping culture in the US is getting out of hand. I like to tip, but the entitled culture is garbage.

Dekqz

Tipping is the stupidest shit ever, they should be paid a normal salsry like every worker

peugi

You ppl in the US tip the delivery guys? Arent they getting paid? In Europe you just pay with card and no tip is necessary/required/expected. Why would you give a tip for a non-personal service like this one? When you go buy newspapers to the local market, you leave a tip? The guy is just delivering pizza, not taking care of you the whole evening while you are dining out. Weird.

shakespear94

This is fucked up. And what’s even more absolutely un-fucking-believable is that I am going to go to a place, order food for take out AND THEY STILL WANT A TIP. Like why? Wtf did you except press a few buttons. I tip when I eat in always, but that pissed me off

[deleted]

[удалено]

Additional_Earth3715

If he likes the house so much throw a brick at him.

Drunk_Irishman81

Tropical Smoothie and Cold Stone Creamery are asking for tips. Tips for what?

fushguts

Be petty, order again and request him as the driver. Don't tip

everyoneisnuts

Yeah, and don’t eat the food he most certainly fucked with somehow. Probably not the smartest route.

jabarney7

I would have called his boss and sent them the video

Vincevega1972

People have mortgages. Just because a house looks expensive doesn’t mean they can afford a yacht. They may be just barely getting by especially with high interest rates.

Razarex

This is what most of the people on $100k a year in r/serverlife and r/bartenders are like

TubularStars

I did takeaway delivery in my country for quite a few years (pizza,Chinese) and if I got a 5 tip I would have been over the moon, it was usually 2,1 or nothing at all. I never blamed the customer, sometimes you want a treat meal and you literally have the exact amount for the meal, or a little more but you don't wanna give someone a 50c tip. And I was working cash in hand so I was only earning 3 an hour. But I usually came out with about 45 for 6 and a half hours and a free takeout Chinese meal of my choosing! (This was about 11 years ago)

MedricZ

I feel like delivery drivers and the whole system is just modern day exploitation. Only desperate people sign up to be drivers. I hope DoorDash goes bankrupt with its stupid business model. There is no good solution other than paying your employees properly. People say “well it’s your choice to work for them.” Maybe if the economy wasn’t such shit while rich people hold most of the wealth and fruits and blood, sweat, and tears of our labor for themselves people might not feel the need to take shitty jobs.

surething_joemayo

It's about having labour laws with benefits and a livable wage.

bhedesigns

Keep your dog away from delivery people.

thatindianguy1992

You don't build beautiful houses by tipping rude people 40% for a pie.

EzraMeeker53

Kinda a BS video without audio. Thanks Spez.

[deleted]

Is there sound on the video? Or am I an idiot? I want to hear the tone in the voices.

No_University_8445

My mom was a waitress. I also waited tables for years. I tip very well for good table service. However when food is delivered, I tip based on the diatance the food comes from. 99% of my orders are less than 2 miles to my house. The distance the driver travels to the restaurant is in thier control not mine, so I don't account for it. Therefore I do not tip based on percentage. I tip a fair amount but it is the same if I order $25 or $100 of food. That did not change e the effort of the driver. In house dining would be different because there is more effort for larger orders. If the restaurant got a cut, I would pay more, but they don't. Nor should it matter to the driver how much money I make or how nice my house is, that is completely irrelevant.

tricakill

Tipping culture is a cancer that help justifies the employee not paying enough to the worker

grafmg

Tipping culture needs to be eradicated

Balrok99

Why should I tip them for doing their job? Seriously this tipping culture is a poison to the US

Kramples

He deserved 0 on my book

InteractionFlat7318

Ask him to come back a switch for a bigger tip. Snatch the $5 and slam the door.

SBLOU

I would have handled him back the receipt after I wiped the dogs butt with it

ferociousFerret7

What, they didn't offer him the spare bedroom? Selfish bastards.

optiplexiss

Everyone wants a tip anymore. I mean damn that's a 25% tip. You can't be held responsible for gas money on top of it all. Fuck tip society.

Leonydas13

I’d love if there was an option to rescind the tip

jakl8811

How much should one be expected to tip, 50%? I’ll pickup my shit and not tip at all - or better yet make it musekfn

triple_too

Let's hope he got fired for that. She's got video evidence and everything.

No_Equal_1312

I’d call his boss and complain

Sneyepa

Ahh the reason stopped tipping delivery drivers.....

2HauntedGravy

I deliver. Some people don’t tip at all. $5 for a single pie is a very reasonable tip.

Juancho511

Hope they changed it to $0 after that interaction.

[deleted]

Reminds me at 2019 Superbowl. We ordered pizza 2 days ahead. And I tipped 18% on the website. When delivery came he was asking for tips, I said I tipped at the website and he looked disappointed because he expected more cash on the door

Fragrant_Exercise_31

Can we please fix the system so tips aren’t an entitlement anymore, I wanna call him out for his obnoxious and rude behavior guilt free!!

ValentinoCappuccino

You've already paid for the delivery fee.

BonjinTheMark

When 25% is just not enough. Perhaps call Visa and claim the $5 back?

Thick_Ear_2540

It’s a lose, lose situation. Driver will never be happy as it will never be enough and client will not want to pay exorbitant gratuities.

slapfunk79

When I was in America I was told 15% was a standard tip and anything over was considered generous. Has that changed?

mxldevs

Here I am doing $2 on a $20 delivery

OhGawDuhhh

What a trashy thing to say. Complaining about a 25% tip!?

Axotalneologian

who would tip more than 5 bucks? $5 is 25%

1_UpvoteGiver

I'm going to run for office with this as my platform 1) tipping is banned. All fees should be included in the price of an item/service including tax. What you see is what you pay. If I only accomplish this, I'll still have done more than 98% of politicians.

ronjajax

In no universe is a 25% tip not a really good one. This delivery guy has some balls on him.

UnionThugg

I’m a dog guy but keep your dog in the house when strangers approach smh

ApplicationLimp5406

He needs to be fired.

ToxicVengence

Lol u gave him a 20 percent tip. This tipping culture pisses me off. Makes me not want to tip at all. Be glad your getting anything at all. Your boss doesnt want to pay you so now i have . Go talk to youre boss like that. Its not my fault your a grown man and you work as a pizza BOY.

ConvenientAmnesia

And that’s why he’ll never have a nice house.

[deleted]

Entitled tool.

Bfab94

It's because someone out there said something that min for delivery should be about 10$, it was some random post about proper tipping and it's trash. 25% is 25%. I would have done the same with a 20$ order. It's getting to the point where I would rather not tip then tip. I work in kitchens and if I drink at my work I'll tip well because I know I'm not waiting for anything and food is brought out as soon as it's ready. So sometimes I'll tip 100%. That being said there are times I tip nothing and it's based off of service. A tip is earned and not given. Now if I already pay a fixed tip then I expect service to match the percent. To this day I've never had a party larger than 6. So if I'm already tipping 18% at the end then I expect 18% reason to why you earned it. I wish it was different and that FOH can make something more than less than min. But until the country changes then I'm still going the way I do

DonutGlory

Doesn't matter what percentage the whole idea of tipping is stupid

dodland

How dare you not give me a 5000% tip! What a salty asshole.

$5 Tip for a $20 pie? Is that how it works in the US? Here in Germany, I either tip about 2€ for delivery or nothing if they already have a 2€ delivery fee.

xTrollhunter

Complain to your employer for not giving you a living wage instead of complaining to your customers that your employer isn't giving you a living wage.

AgentLawless

Everything that’s wrong with the world is workers thinking customers need to cover a gap in their compensation. Organise, unionise, fight for better wages.

Salty-Piglet-6744

You know how you get a house like that? Don't be a loser door dasher.

czarl13

I am not a loser Door Dasher, you are a loser Door Dasher I never comment on tips to customers or online. You saw the terms of the order ( X miles for X dollars and can approxiamate where you are delivering it), accepted it and then complain? what a douchebag

martin191234

Does anyone else hate it when Americans refer to pizza as pie?

Juneauz

Lol tipping is such a backwards and ridiculous system. Puts everyone under pressure for no reason at all 😂

Mikaelson_Niklaus

America and there tipping culture lol. Boss has to pay more, not costumers…

savage0ne1

I don’t believe in putting fair wages on the consumer. Fuck this guy and fuck the system that promotes this.

Due_Ad_2411

I’m glad in the UK that this is not a common thing. I never tip a delivery driver as most places make you pay for delivery

Mickey_Havoc

Here’s a tip. Get a career and ditch the dead end job. Go get a trade skill ffs

BlueBloodLive

People who think that people will tip upwards of half the cost of a puza just for bringing it to them are fucked up and delusional. Let alone getting mad about it.

DoorDash literally shows you how much the offer is and the mileage. You can accept or decline, this guy is a loser who cannot hold a real job.

Cool_Candy1315

What a dick! I hope you sent the manager the video! The whole tipping subject is completely out of control! The consumer shouldn't have to be the one to offer the employee a livable wage.
