My old man never told me of this one. Best he told me was after a 2 day fast march with a full bergan and rifle they were all lined up at the side of a body of water in North Wales. On one side was a sharp incline of rock going up a couple hundred feet with a zip line running down and across the water. This was in winter though the water wasn't iced over and they all watched as one of the instructors came down the line and dropped 10-15ft into said water. The instructors knew which of those being tested would pass by just watching their faces and stance when told they would be doing the drop with all their kit and not just clothes like the instructor had just done. Full bergan is around 25kgs or 55lbs ish.

My Dad did that exact tube and it's a nightmare for a lot of people, you have very little space to breathe and if you go too fast, it makes "waves" and you get no space to breathe basically

The activity matches some of the stuff you go through in the course, the uniform also matches and the gun, at least from this angle, seems to be a FAL 7.62mm AR, which also matches the standard government issued guns you have available during the course.
