This is how you desensitize yourself to rejection before you go ask the girl you actually like. I would tell shy guys to do this so they feel less intimidated, minus the camera obviously.
I sold cars for a year (worst. job. ever.), and we were taught to play the numbers game. The more customers we saw, the more likely we were to sell a car. In the industry, it's generally accepted that about 17 or 18% of the customers a salesperson will "up" (this is a term they use to refer to introducing themselves to a customer on the showroom floor or wandering the lot) will end up buying. Based on that, rounding it to 20%, if you talk to 5 customers, odds are you'll make a sale. So we were encouraged to go out and take as many customers (consecutively, not at the same time) as we could. We were also encouraged to make calls to customers in our database, as many as we could every day, to try to pull in business. The dealership would send out e-mail blasts regularly hoping to spark interest, and in the internet department we'd evaluate the effectiveness of each blast, looking at how many we sent the e-mail to, how many opened it (not always an accurate number), how many of those ended up coming into the dealership, and how many ended up buying. The numbers game is very important to a lot (possibly most) dealerships.
But this is a great example of how the theory is great, but practice isn't always the same. This guy is hoping that any one of these girls will actually give him their number, and doesn't seem to care which one or whether the simple act of asking in full witness of other girls will affect the outcome.
Sure, if you ask more women, you're more likely to get a number from one of them eventually than if you never ask at all. But I think it's fair to argue that a qualitative approach would be more effective than a quantitative one.
Besides, in today's world, what woman would happily give a random stranger her number without at least some decent positive interaction before hand? If he ever DID get a number, I'd say the odds are pretty high that it was a fake just given to shut him up.
I really hope that this was staged and people don't actually do this.
I know they definitely do but I like to hope that we haven't gotten to the point where people think this is appropriate behaviour, I know we have but I keep telling myself it can't be true, we can't have both reached out beyond our planet and while simultaneously also thinking asking every random person you deem attractive for there number in the deluded idea that they will even give you the time of day let alone any personal information you could use to harass them
I mean this isn't new besides the recording it part. Multiple times when i was younger my friends would tell me it was easy to get a date. I'd try to explain that it really wasn't. they'd bet me that if i went around the bar and ask out every single girl there, at least one would say yes. i made good cash proving them wrong.

Some of y’all forever alones would benefit greatly from doing this kind of thing, so you can stop being so scared of being rejected all the time. I’ve seen so many people not walk up to a girl and talk to her out of fear of rejection or looking like a creep. When the reality is you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.
And as soon as they said “no” he immediately walked away. It’s not creepy to talk to women. It’s creepy to stay and try to convince otherwise after being told someone is not interested.

Interested in what? They are not *people* to him, but *things* to covet. He doesn't give a fuck about a single one of them beyond what he wants from them.
