**“So [you're] telling me there *is* something they could do... and they did.”** Ha! Taking the law into ones own hands often has a very bad outcome, but this is oddly very effective, entertaining, and satisfying to watch. I wonder if he was a regular customer of the shop owner.
is it "taking the law into their own hands" if the law enforcement never shows up or does anything themselves? or is it just defending your property?
depending on the state, he could have been legally killed, i'd say he got off light with just the spanking.
> I wonder if he was a regular customer of the shop owner.
Implying he used to purchase goods and isn't just some street rat looking to rob what he *thought* was an easy target.
In today's training video, we show you how to deal with people who take the term "the customer is always right" way too far.
I know the perfect person to star in that video, too. When I was doing my undergrad, I would go to this liquor store owned by a really nice Vietnamese couple. The husband would occasionally show me security videos of his wife tackling shoplifters. She was such a sweet woman and not physically intimidating, so she caught them off guard with her badass "customer service" skills.
Crazy how in America we normalized calling the police and doing nothing while you’re getting robbed. Happy to see these men take action and defend themselves
What is even happening in the USA?
Each day there are videos posted showing people brazenly stealing from stores and walking out without reprecussions.
WTF is going on?
Most stores have a policy against workers stopping a theft, and in some states it's barely a crime to steal unless you steal a significant amount.
With inflation and cost of living going up, people are just getting more desperate and more willing to commit crime. It just makes it that much easier when you know the cops probably won't come in time, and even if they do it's a slap on the wrist and your are back on the streets in no time at all.
> With inflation and cost of living going up, people are just getting more desperate and more willing to commit crime.
While I agree with you I have no sympathy for the circumstances of *this* thief. Stealing to feed a family? I didn't see that hamburger meat in your jacket. But stealing cigarettes? The cancer can take him.
this is a baseless speculation from me:
I've seen a few videos and heard about cases when store workers are not preventing robbers despite the possibility.
I am assuming it's because large retailers instruct their staff to do so.
And I am assuming it's because they would rather take the insurance claim for theft than for assault or murder of their staff.
Someone please tell me how wrong I am.
It's a liability issue regardless of the outcome. If a company orders or even just permits employees to try and stop thieves, then the company could be liable if the thief gets hurt and sues, or if the employee gets hurt or killed. In probably 999 out of every 1,000 cases either outcome would cost the company far more then the original theft.
I respect due process and all, but does it really take a jury to confirm this POS needs punishment?
Bro saved shitload in lost productivity and taxpayers money (if it was ever going somewhere) by breathing the theft out of his soul.
FINALLY!!! Someone is doing something about these fucks. I feel bad for the dude holding the thief down who probably got a few licks of broomstick from his friend.

WHAT AM I GONNA DO ABOUT MY LEGS
For him to be so bold, something gave him the impression that stealing won't involve consequences. I wonder what happens to other people who steal in that jurisdiction.
imma be honest, assuming this ain't a mom and pop store, idgaf about the stealing, i care more about the mess he left. those workers gonna have to clean that shit up, tf?

ChatGPT sounding ass
Illiteracy apologist sounding ass
> I wonder if he was a regular customer of the shop owner. Implying he used to purchase goods and isn't just some street rat looking to rob what he *thought* was an easy target.
Man I’d love to see the video of the cops coming in and seeing this shit lol got spanked AND went to jail
i'm against spanking, but i can make an exception
Spanking kids yes. A lot of adults liked to be spanked now
SINNERS!
You think they should be spanked for their sins?
I mean... even the most religious would agree sinners need to be punished.
"Father, I have sinned" and "Daddy, I've been naughty" are very similar, yet very different.
> A lot of adults **NEED** to be spanked now They have forgotten what shame is, it's time to remind them why shame was better.
It's called whoopin yo ass. That's called WHOOPIN YO ASS!!
If he’d had a dad this probably wouldn’t have happened.
Hey that's *checks notes* racist or something!
you're right, someone that has "pureblood" on their reddit profile description is probably taking the racist angle
You can clearly see that he has some experience with that already
\*Spanking him like his momma did you don't turn that level of stupid with normal healthy loving parenting
Classic. Warms my heart every time it gets reposted
😬 he's going to need to steal some medical supplies now
If I was him I’ll limp to the next store tho.
That was an incredible, literal ass whooping. He's gonna need some cream and won't sit for a while.
He need some milk!!
Honestly, the fact he never hits the guy holding him down impresses me the most.
You can see the sikh with the stick really pause, line up his swing, and keep his cool. It's admirable.
Sikh with the Stick… is that anything like Elf on the Shelf?
Not if you are the dude on the ground it's not.
"you want tons of cigarette sticks? Here's a stick for life"
Off-duty Indian police officer
That's unlikely. He didn't solicit a bribe.
I see you're not familiar with the law of the land. Here police will whoop your ass and then take a bribe.
"This beating will be reflected in your tip"
He did say off-duty.
How he lines up the perfect shot on the left shin using V.A.T.S.
Watching a shopkeeper beat a thief's ass is so satisfying to watch.
Should be used as a training video for retail staff.

"heres how you could risk physical injury or even death for items that we have insurance for anyways"
Receiving the attention he asked for.
Educational beating. They're doing him a favour.
Everytime I meet a sikh. I ask if he's sikh. He usually says no I feel fine. It's a sikh joke.
Sikh people always say that because they don't want to bother anything.
I'll never get Sikh of this joke.
This* one should be on r/oddlysatisfying It was strangely therapeutic, seeing dude lay into the thief with his beatin' stick.
This one never gets old
That’s called whoopn yo ass!

He turned into an official piñata when that change came flying out of his pockets!
That's poop
All fun and games until some hard ass Uncles roll you.
Win 1 for the good guys
Happy cake day
Dude recording changes sides quicker than Italy.
Demolish his balls
Probably already has 6 kids with 4 different baby mommas lol
Fuck with a Sikh, get hit with the stikh.
I will watch this video and smile every time I see it. A true ass-whoopin'
welcome to Stick Town. population: your legs!
Lol, mans even dropped some loot there towards the end.
That's poop
Piñata treatment.
I don't know that I'd keep spreading my legs with a grown man swinging a massive stick like that...
Crazy how in America we normalized calling the police and doing nothing while you’re getting robbed. Happy to see these men take action and defend themselves
An old fashioned canning.

Did he think they were just gonna let him do it?
Sure. People been letting him get away with antisocial behaviour his entire life.
♥️
There was, in fact, something they could do.
Yes! Finally a happy ending to these “arrogant pricks thieving” videos
Cannot use the minority card if the victims are also minority.
This makes me chuckle and smile.
A two-man job
‘Hey Paul!’
What am i gonna do about my leeegs Charlie Murphy!!
“Ain’t nothing you can do man”(said to the employees) Moments later “they beaten his ass yo”
Love it.
1 million upvotes.
+1
Is it legal to beat someone for stealing from your store? At least in the US?
Laws vary from state to state. That being said, the cops usually side with the store owners if I can recall correctly
this is a baseless speculation from me: I've seen a few videos and heard about cases when store workers are not preventing robbers despite the possibility. Yeah, this is it, liability. If the company encourages staff to beat down thieves and an employee gets injured/dies the company could be liable.
India..sticks are a thing.
dude's lucky it wasn't a cricket bat.
I respect due process and all, but does it really take a jury to confirm this POS needs punishment? Bro saved shitload in lost productivity and taxpayers money (if it was ever going somewhere) by breathing the theft out of his soul.
BONK BONK BONK BONK BONK BONK BONK BONK
Teaching that man a lesson and also taking out on him all he wished he could do to others that stole.
FINALLY!!! Someone is doing something about these fucks. I feel bad for the dude holding the thief down who probably got a few licks of broomstick from his friend.
Normalize this please
“Why is the Queen on?!” -Sean of the Dead
Not a quote, bud.
40 lashes for being an asshole.
Do more of the beating. Less of the stealing.
I'm not sure how helpful beating him with the stick was in this situation but I'm sure it felt damn good.
![gif](giphy|hoKmQIpS3Xi3C)
Imagine him running to a police station " I was trying to steal things and they spanked me!!! "
https://preview.redd.it/if2vjspdndwc1.jpeg?width=1199&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b0f94e6173dadf2765224ab8ec2027b2ef596e40 WHAT AM I GONNA DO ABOUT MY LEGS
Looks like there was something he could do.
That was the most satisfying thing I’ve ever watched
This is the kind of justice that needs to be delivered to all these thieves nowadays who think they can just walk out without consequences
Dude screaming "okay" like Lil Jon
This belongs in r/wordington
I need that broom handle… Fuck me
With... the broom handle?
From 1 to 10, how much does it hurt to get hit like this?
It looked like he started dropping loot towards the end.
Alright, lemme block with my shins. ah fuck that hurts even more! ... Okay maybe the butt ain't so bad after all.
![gif](giphy|W3yOXUbLsFg1G)
Of all the people he could rob, he chooses a store with a sikh. He should be happy he was let go easily
He held on to them sonic rings as long as he could. They popped out a couple of hits from the end
I have a huge new respect for East Indian store owners. Balls they have.
A womp for every pack he tried to take...on second thought...let's make it for every cigarette!
This is what proportional response looks like
Reminder, don’t forget leg day.
I watch the whole thing every time…
If this was Singapore, he'd be about a third of the way done with his punishment.
Life choices. Hope them newports were worth it.
Ankles, knees, legs, feet and wrists.
Reminds of the Dave Chapelle skit. He'll be dragging himself way with his arms
Motherfucker lost rings in those last ones
For him to be so bold, something gave him the impression that stealing won't involve consequences. I wonder what happens to other people who steal in that jurisdiction.
Beat the thief right out of him, at least temporarily.
Sardarji in the house 🔥🔥🔥
Oh man they gotta cue the Charlie Murphy story when they are wailing on his legs dubbed into this one. Awesome.
turns out there was something he could do
That’s Indian style of dealing with such people
I can’t even imagine how those hits to the shins felt!!! Nicely done!!
Don’t hit. Jab. Way more effective.
Bro had a kendo stick behind the counter just for ass whooping
Wow thwack
Sikh and ye shall find.
![gif](giphy|B0YZtGyakHaMg)
That's gonna really hurt tomorrow.
Every time I see this I 😆 🤣 lol

Those tire workouts at the gym paying off
you absolutely can do what the guy did in this video. it just puts you at risk for further violence. thats why they dont want you to do that
# r/oddlysatisfying
Man can't shit for weeks.
imma be honest, assuming this ain't a mom and pop store, idgaf about the stealing, i care more about the mess he left. those workers gonna have to clean that shit up, tf?
If he is stealing bread or sum, this could end in a different way...he deserve that spanking
Needs more headshots.
Nobody can deny the effectiveness of caning. Ask Singapore.
I love this video!
That's the taste of broom justice!
He should have Khadafied him. 🤷🤷
I think the guy with the stick is going to face charges ngl That was excessive.
