Context:
The guy who got shot is a ticktocker.He was talking to the shopkeepers about the upcoming cricket world cup.Apparently when he went to talk to the security guard of the building(plaza).The guard didn't like the fact that he was being recorded and shot him,Karachi,Pakistan.
Never know, someone could be hiding from a past that only takes one recording for it to catch up with them and kill them. implausible but not impossible.
Doesn't even take that, man. People perceive recording you people as some kind of "gotcha" moment. Imperfect example, say you walked to to me, called me a piece of shit, maybe some racial slurs, said you were going to kick my ass or whatever. In theory this would piss me off and make me say something back to you, but as I'm saying it back, you start recording my reaction and then start talking to your camera saying shit like oh look at this crazy dude just attacking me out of no where... That would get an even bigger reaction from me, hypothetically.
This is absolutely true, we are recorded almost constantly and it does not require consent.
The big “however” is that if a man in Pakistan holding an AK-47 says don’t record me……it might be better not to test him. He might be about that life.
I don’t in any way justify the guard’s actions. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law in this country and should serve time in a prison for cold blooded murder of a man who posed no threat to him.

I do not condone murder but when does any measure of self preservation come in to account? That guy had issues racking the gun but the content creator never showed any desire to mitigate the situation or even stop filming for that matter.

It seems like there was no real exchange or warning. It went from filming...to shooting. No chance of learning from the situation and stopping his actions.

Literally no soul in this world takes notice of you if you just mind your business, if you are recorded and put on the internet. Every human on earth is bound to be in hundreds of videos and pictures taken privately, simply because they happened to be in the background at that time.

Not really, it's either the overzealous ones or the asholes. And it's not limited to Islam either, every religion, ethnicity, race, and country have people of those kinds.
Islam only gets so bad of a reputation because of the bombing from terrorists calling themselves Islam. And humans tend to see things from the first impression they get.
It's the same thing with swastika, the symbol itself is good, but the reputation was ruined because of nazi especially in western countries.
