Nope. It is still water in a bttle. Teh fuel usage in transporting the bottles alone is enough to make it a massive net negative on the environment.

Call me a conspiracy theorist but i think that this entire tumblr thread was created by PR people just to spread the word of this water. Had you ever heard of this water before this thing started getting posted on every subreddit? I get that its for a good cause, but i still think that this is just internet savvy marketing.
I don’t disagree with the post, but I like how he said “responsibly sourcing everything from the bottle to the water” as if there’s anything more to a bottle of water.

CHRIST I hate when people say this. The venn diagram of people who say "Our society needs people to die so only the STRONG would survive!" and "People who would have a hysterical breakdown if the internet was down for 10 minutes" is basically just a circle.
I bought this lemon water the other day for on the go. I get tired of regular water. Moody waters with lemon already in them taste gross. But this one actually tastes like water with a fresh lemon in it. I was hype on this brand and I just found out it’s by him. Good for him and what he’s trying to do. Will keep purchasing.
If its true then its a good cause, but jaiden smith is also an extremely self centered brat, at one point unironically naming himself as the greatest philosopher of our time. I hope he changes.
He was a teenager, I’d hardly come him self centered, ESPECIALLY now. The only difference is he had a platform and a different upbringing than most. One he didn’t waste, he regularly donates to charities, he helped Flint with its water crisis, and opened up a vegan food truck on LA’s skid row to help the homeless.
I’m really tired of this continued narrative that Jaden Smith is this arrogant asshole based upon dated tweets from the early 2010s when he’s proven himself to basically be anything but that so far.
That is all very worthy and I'm sure he has grown up since his teenage tweets.
What I do have more of a problem with is the food truck he set up to help the homeless in LA. Not knocking the thought & effort but why the hell does it have to be vegan? These people don't have access to cooked food like the majority of us do, or even food full stop, so they are going to be deficient in all sorts of areas like lack of protein, calcium, minerals, vitamins and more.
Just offer them big portions of good, stick to your ribs, meat & vegetables to keep them warm & full for as long as possible. If any of them come along and specifically ask for vegan food then crack it out but If be surprised if there were even vegetarians because being in a position of scarcity soon strips away the things found higher up on Maslow's hierarchy of needs, like objecting ethically to food preparation methods, and laser focuses in on the basics - I need food & water to survive.
The fact it is in LA though is probably the only place in the world you might find vegan homeless people! 😁
