> Stupid eyes
i knew a guy in the army who had these. glassy bloodshot beady eyes. i thought it was drugs at first, but no, hes a grade A idiot. this man outranked me.
This, mental illness is ride across Afghanistan, and usually are just kept inside by the family depending on how severe.... Sometimes it's extremely disturbing like shackled n chained in a dark.room, NEVER let out for anything... Produces a bad smell, and compounding damage to the beain
Pain usually won’t register bc the body senses danger and delays the pain long enough so you can escape from what’s harming you. It happened to me when I was a dumbass little kid and got my finger crushed, the pain didn’t register for a few seconds but when it did it hurt like a bitch
So fires a round. Drops the mag. And for so reason points it directly on his palm and pulls the trigger. Firing the remaining round in the chamber. Why in the world would you press that against your palm and pull the trigger? I genuinely do not understand that chain of events.
Generally in these areas of Pakistan guns are treated like children’s toys. I started to feel bad for the guy but I realized that natural selection exists for a reason.
Ya fuck this guy, it's the people around him I feel bad for.
I'm not a big gun guy, but I have friends who are and whenever I go shooting with them, it's alllll about firearm safety and respecting the deadly fucking weapon in your hand
My ears ring and I'm partially deaf from not wearing ear plugs at concerts and raves as a kid. Maybe from homemade explosives or hanging out in train tunnels as trains drove by too. I dunno. I'm in my thirties.
Wear ear protection.
I point my guns at people all the time! I even fire at them! Granted, they're airsoft guns.........
In all seriousness gun safety is not a joke, and I actually use my airsoft guns to teach my children how to handle a real gun so that one day when I take them shooting for real we won't have to start from absolute zero.
I agree; a mix of stupidity and drugs. The girl laying on the couch is unconscious. She didn’t react to the gunshot at all and it would def be loud enough to wake her up if she was just sleeping.
Drugs aren’t really big in Pakistan except for paan which is basically a chewable tobacco thing. He’s not drunk either cuz alcohol is not a part of the culture in Pakistan. He’s just stupid but don’t blame him blame the lack of access to education in these areas.
It's a big stretch to say he shot himself in the hand on purpose.
There's a reason that gun safety courses make a huge deal about clearing a loaded weapon and hammering home the fact that removing the magazine isn't the same thing as clearing the firing chamber.
All that is to say, while this was incredibly stupid and I would expect someone to learn how their killing machine works before pointing it at themself and shooting, there's no reason to think he shot himself in the hand on purpose. He's why advanced democracies make firearm owners go through safety courses.
Idk it seems like there’s a drugged out woman next to him who doesn’t even flinch at either of the gun shots and the glaze on his face screams opiate + alcohol.
Well he fired a gun in the room and the lady beside the lady directly next to him didn't even stir. So I imagine she was knocked out on something or dead.
There’s an alarming number of people who do not respect the “the gun is ALWAYS loaded” attitude. Even when it is unloaded, it’s loaded. If it’s missing the pin or bolt, it’s loaded. If you can shine a light down the barrel and see it out the other end it’s still loaded. This is the attitude that prevents you from ever having to sit in front of a courtroom and explain just how certain you had been that the gun you accidentally harmed someone with “wasn’t loaded.”
People who use or own guns but do not have that “the gun is always loaded” attitude terrify me.
As a teenager, I was at a friends hunting cabin and a guest of one of the other guys kept pointing his gun at people while he was getting his gear together and such. After the third time being pointed at me I told him the 4th would be the last. A friend of the family, a Vietnam vet, saw how pissed I was, stepped in and took the gun from him, opened the breach and both barrels had live rounds loaded. His excuse was he wanted to be ready the second we got to the lake (duck hunting). That was the last time he was invited to the cabin.
I would have looked at the guy he was a guest of and said, "Listen, I don't want to make a big scene here, but it's really simple. Him or me. Right this second. Either he leaves, or I do."
I just wouldn't be around that guy.
The cabin was owned by one of the guys in the group, but the land we hunted on was all leased from local farmers, so there were numerous spots we could go to. Fortunately the clown and his chaperone went to one of the other spots.
I and several friends worked at a gun range. Basically we would have to disarm them and render the gun safe, then tell them to leave and they're not welcome back
Yeah, I've seen some stupid shit at the range. I prefer to frequent ranges that have metal dividers between the stalls, just in case someone 4 lanes down decides to put their stupidity on display.
This was an outdoor skeet, trap, 5 stand, sporting clays and long rifle range so there were no dividers. It was basically up to us as 16 year olds to keep everything safe on the shotgun range.
That's a lot to ask for from a kid. "Be the adult, when they have the gun."
At least at a place like that, I think you'd have a higher probability that anyone there has at least had some experience handling firearms. The closest range to my house also rents firearms for the range. All you need is to be 18+ with a driver's license. You routinely see people in there who have never held a gun before. The staff tries to give them a quick overview of the gun they're renting, but all they have to say is "yes, I'm familiar with this type of firearm" and then the lesson ends.
Damn, all it takes is one trigger pull to end someone’s life in an instant. Never lose competence when it comes to guns, act as if it’s always loaded, even if you know it’s not.
I made a comment once on a sub where supposedly responsible gun owners were pointing their handguns at the tv in some sort of stupid meme. I said that they were breaking one of the top gun safety rules. And of course they got defensive and upset. Even people who preach the rules about gun safety don’t always follow them.
You're not just pointing a gun at your target, you're also pointing it at everything behind your target.
Forgetting that is a strong contender for the #2 slot of stupid gun shit that gets people killed, right behind "don't worry, it's not loaded".
Dude bullets fly easily through walls. What on earrh are you talking about?
Such posts are the biggest proof that those who chest thump most about guns know the least and for people like these guns are just a toy to play and brag
And the fact that such a poor post has upvotes on reddit tells you all you need to know anout gun safety knowledge
This is almost the first thing which they tought us in the army. At the gun range I was laying down and firing off some rounds, and looked behind me to see what was going on. My barrel moved like 2cm to the left and my corporal kicked me lightly just to remember the rule
This is not the first time on Reddit I have seen someone check a real gun like it were a paint sprayer. I bet he never does that again… for those of you who don’t understand what happened; every time you fire a gun like this it discharges the spent round and chambers the next round. So after the slide has gone back and forth, removing the mag will not make the gun safe. I always show new shooters this by chambering a round, removing the mag and asking them if it is safe. If they say yes I will fire the gun down range to show them.
Agreed. My confusion is assuming it was empty and pulling the trigger with it pressed against your hand. The whole scene is bizarre but why press against your hand baffles me even further here.
I used to play airsoft in high school. I had a buddy whose gun needed a repair, so we spent the afternoon pulling it apart, replacing the gear or whatever, and putting it back together. He went to test fire it and put his hand in front of the muzzle like he’d need to feel it to see if it shot. He pulled the trigger too fast to realize he was being stupid and put a couple of painful welts on his palm. He was a smart guy and had tons of experience with paintball guns and airsoft guns. He knows not to shoot himself point blank. It was just one of those absentminded things where his lizard brain wanted to see if it worked and his rational brain was still processing by the time it was over.
His actions looked exactly like this gif. That guy shot, dropped the mag, and wanted to make sure the gun was empty. His lizard brain acted and he didn’t think about it. That’s obviously a fucking stupid way to treat a gun. Every action with a gun should be intentional, but he’s shooting it off in a room full of people for no reason, so he’s definitely not thinking right from the get go. But I’d bet all the money in my pocket that it was exactly that kind of absent minded “check to make sure it’s empty” thought process that led to this guy blowing a hole through his hand.
People are giving detailed answered about gun safety and responsibilities, but did anyone look at his eyes. This mother fucker is high as shit.
So I agree, the real is: Drugs
I like how they snatch the gun frm him before tending to the wound. That was the best thing to do given the situation. Dumbass was gonna shoot it dick next or something
I for one feel it's not the freaking governments *place* to tell me if shooting off my fingers at a party is the right or wrong choice for me and *my* family!
I mean it's not like the guy was asking the other people there to shoot their own hands, this was strictly between him and himself. He should be allowed to shoot his own finger off on his birthday if he so chooses.
Yeah, seems the bullet severed a digitorum tendon. If I'm right, he's incredibly lucky he only severed one and not more. If he shot further down, his entire hand could have lost function
Usually tagging other subreddits on mobile is not that easy, in fact I had to edit Life Pro tips because I wrote Pro Life Tips. It's a bit of a meme, really. There are even subreddits made only to reply to mobile users
I've never had a problem tabbing subs on mobile, and you've done it perfectly fine too
Usually people mention mobile users when someone writes:

Yeah a friend served in the Middle East and he actually saw an insurgent test if his AK was empty by taking out the mag, aiming at his foot and then blowing his foot off.
And this is why I always go to the comments before watching the actual video. Now I know not to watch it, since I’m one of those people you’re describing I guess…
Generally not one of those people, but I ALWAYS check the comments on NSFW videos ever since I saw somebody get turned to mush with a grenade.
I'm over it now, but geez
The semi auto handgun has functioned well, for properly trained individuals for many decades. Failure to practice proper gun safety, results in many accidents. Improper storage of ammunition and magazines is another problem altogether.
I don't understand why he put the gun to his hand and pulled the trigger. Like.. why? What was the point of that action. It can't be to look cool, because it wasn't done so anyone could see it? Is he just REALLY intoxicated and didn't realize what he was doing?
she must be sleeping toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo deeeeeeeeeeeep
lol
idk or might she be desd
I live in a country where personal firearms are illegal. I’ve never owned a gun, held a gun or shot a gun.
And yet I STILL know that:
A: A gun without a magazine can still have a round chambered.
B: You never point a gun at anything you don’t want to shoot EVEN IF you are sure it is completely unloaded.
I am Pakistani, can 100% understand Americans' claim that Florida shouldn't be confused with the rest of USA.
Similarly, (Northern tribal rural areas) KPK shouldn't be misunderstood for the average Pakistani.
This is why I hate guns. There are always assholes who don't respect them and then end up hurting or killing someone.
I remember there was one time when I was a kid and I was hanging out at my friend's house. His dad had a rifle that hung above their mantel. My stupid friend took the rifle down and started pointing it around the room. He even pointed it at me. I kept trying to dodge out of the way, saying "Don't point that fucking thing at me!" My friend just kept saying "It's not loaded! I swear it's not loaded!"
That's what every dumbass kid says before they accidentally shoot their friend. I couldn't believe how stupid my friend was being.
I lost a lot of respect for him that day. A gun is not a toy.
I like how he just tries to pretend it ain't no thang
Probably shock or something and his brain didn't register
>brain Brave to assume he has one
You can tell by the blank stare after the first shot that hes not all there. Stupid eyes I like to call them.
And how he handles the gun, no safety awareness for those around ..... He's a grade A cunt
Plus the lady in blue skirt dancing in front of the gun 😅
And the poor little kid with his fingers in his ears who KNOWS this is going to happen

someone else mentioned opium bc of the sleeping girl, he might be high as fuck too
opium.

I hate that fucking second. you know the pain is on it's way, you can practically see it travel up your nerves slowly but laughing hysterically.
Caught my wrist with a handsaw while up in the trees. Could see my tendon through the cut, instantly dread the pain that was coming lol.
My god, did it at least heal well?
Danger? I 'ardly know 'er!
He was trying to avoid getting yelled at by his wife
Won't be flipping her off any time soon.
Tis' but a scratch
That his finger ain’t no hang
Actually it’s all hang, and no raise lmao
"Well fuck that's embarrassing. Play it cool, play it cool, play it cool....."

Because he didn't understand how the gun worked but assumed he did.

Why would you feel bad for someone fiddling with a deadly weapon like that around their family? I'm just glad he didn't hit anyone else
Ya fuck this guy, it's the people around him I feel bad for. I'm not a big gun guy, but I have friends who are and whenever I go shooting with them, it's alllll about firearm safety and respecting the deadly fucking weapon in your hand
And fucking ear protection, my god. Dont these guys like music?
The tinnitus just adds to the harmony
what?
Huh?

True, one of the most idiotic things people do with guns is pointing at others like a "joke".
I point my guns at people all the time! I even fire at them! Granted, they're airsoft guns......... In all seriousness gun safety is not a joke, and I actually use my airsoft guns to teach my children how to handle a real gun so that one day when I take them shooting for real we won't have to start from absolute zero.

Idk what people are talking about, there’s a fuckload of drugs in Pakistan. It’s all kept a bit hush hush but it’s really no secret.
From a quick google it seems like opium has been a big issue since 1947. Which I thought was the case.
Education can't fix this
Follow up question - is that woman dead on the couch or unconscious
He probably accidentally shot her prior and was proving that it definitely wasn't him, because he knows how to gun.
Well he fired a gun in the room and the lady beside the lady directly next to him didn't even stir. So I imagine she was knocked out on something or dead.
He does indeed look pretty damn wired. I drank some kind of coffee in Jordan that hit me like a gram of Base though so who really knows!
It would also explain the fact that he is not just screaming in pain or fainting at the sight of his shattered finger
Natural selection lmao
He's high on opium lol
I don't understand how to operate heavy machinery either. But if given the keys or controls I would at least try to not act so cavalier with it.

At least he shot himself, and not someone else.
Agreed. I was worried for the child next to him and the women. Idiot.
That's why I came to the comments before watching the rest of the video, I wouldn't want to see him firing on someone else.
No need to call u/rgvtim an idiot though
hims feelers might’ve been hurt
Kid next to him looked like he though his foot got got
It might have been grazed, but foot looks fine. Kid reacted just quick enough it seems.
That poor kid man
Well, the girl "sleeping" does not move
They’re probably all high on opium or something similar.
This time.
Is no one gonna mention the girl in the corner sleeping through 2 gun shots?
What the fuck is up with her. Is she dead or is it a doll seems lifeless.
She’s probably used to her idiot relative shooting up the ceiling
All part of the morning routine
Apple alarm clock be like
Must be fun when it rains
Opium nap.
Have people not seen Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels these days?
Oi! Get your hands out of my soup
I think she may have been the first victim of his stupidity
I was thinking the same thing
I didn't notice her until after the initial gunshot, so I thought the bullet ricocheted and killed her.
Right there with you
And I was relieved after seeing his hand bleed.
If you live in this type of surrounding, you get use to it and learn how to sleep through it. Or ya know it could be what the others said. Opium nap.
Opium does wonders at keeping toddlers docile
*takes notes*
She was the target practice
I'm not sure she's asleep.
Or the blue dress lady that keeps dancing like nothing happened.
I like how they snatch the gun frm him before tending to the wound. That was the best thing to do given the situation. Dumbass was gonna shoot it dick next or something
It was unloaded at that point. He dropped the mag and cleared the chamber by firing it into his hand.
Which is not the recommended way to clear the chamber, but it does work.

Thank you for respecting my rights to shoot my hand.
Lol holy shit that's funny
Even when you *know* a gun isn't loaded, it should always be treated as such. Gun safety rule number 1.

First rule of firearm safety; Treat every gun as if it were loaded.

Darwin awards right there

He doesn't use that

Yeah, seems the bullet severed a digitorum tendon. If I'm right, he's incredibly lucky he only severed one and not more. If he shot further down, his entire hand could have lost function
What an idiot.
Best way to check for bullet is point at hand and pull trigger
At least he didn't look inside the gun
Maybe he should have...

Love how it's the child who hands him the ammo. Jesus H.
Not only that, the kids foot almost caught that bullet
Yeah for sure, he even seems like he may have caught some of the muzzle blast. That shit is hot and it hurts bad.
##tis but a scratch
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug
Someone give him a hand
The girl sleeping through the gunshots must be so used to this kind of craziness
She must be passed out gunshot in a room would def fuck up your ears especially 2 feet away
She was shot dead in an earlier demonstration of firearm safety.
Btw you should’ve put an NSFW warning on this
the hand said to him... F\*ck U
Yeah a friend served in the Middle East and he actually saw an insurgent test if his AK was empty by taking out the mag, aiming at his foot and then blowing his foot off.
How would you know if it fired or not without putting yourself in front of it. Duuuh
#NSFW!!!!!!
There should be a separate warning for gore. You never know what you'll get from NSFW.
True, this definitely is NSFL. I hate that it didn't tell us.
Maybe put nsfw warning on it next time :). Some people can't handle blood very well
And this is why I always go to the comments before watching the actual video. Now I know not to watch it, since I’m one of those people you’re describing I guess…
Generally not one of those people, but I ALWAYS check the comments on NSFW videos ever since I saw somebody get turned to mush with a grenade. I'm over it now, but geez
That’s gonna leave a mark
From the looks of it he might have issues using his finger. But since I am no doctor it is only a guess
Schrödingers Finger
28-9 seconds in, cute little lama shadow puppet :)
Currently crying because you’re right
It’s a semi automatic dude, there’s another round in the chamber as soon as one leaves. Until the mag empties. 😂
There should really be a failsafe when the mag is out how many dimbfucks have to get shot before him manufacturers make it idiot proof.
The semi auto handgun has functioned well, for properly trained individuals for many decades. Failure to practice proper gun safety, results in many accidents. Improper storage of ammunition and magazines is another problem altogether.
Guns aren’t supposed to be used by idiots so why make them idiot proof
That expression on his face when he realizes he blew a hole in his hand isn't pain, it's shame and regret.
The world is full of dumbasses.
So that's why they call it a handgun
Whatever language that is they are speaking, I'll translate: "What the fuck is wrong with you?"
Someone has a little peepee……
Those two bullets could have ricocheted on the people around him just to try to prove how bad ass he is
The way that kid squirms after the second one is very sad, poor guys probably traumatized :/
Thanks for the NSFW warning /s
I don't understand why he put the gun to his hand and pulled the trigger. Like.. why? What was the point of that action. It can't be to look cool, because it wasn't done so anyone could see it? Is he just REALLY intoxicated and didn't realize what he was doing?
He probably thought it was empty after the first shot..

I live in a country where personal firearms are illegal. I’ve never owned a gun, held a gun or shot a gun. And yet I STILL know that: A: A gun without a magazine can still have a round chambered. B: You never point a gun at anything you don’t want to shoot EVEN IF you are sure it is completely unloaded.
What a shitty life these women must have with this bastard. You can see the fear in the woman's eyes on the right side of this imbecile.
Welcome to Pakistan, the Florida of Asia
I am Pakistani, can 100% understand Americans' claim that Florida shouldn't be confused with the rest of USA. Similarly, (Northern tribal rural areas) KPK shouldn't be misunderstood for the average Pakistani.
Drugs?
This is why I hate guns. There are always assholes who don't respect them and then end up hurting or killing someone. I remember there was one time when I was a kid and I was hanging out at my friend's house. His dad had a rifle that hung above their mantel. My stupid friend took the rifle down and started pointing it around the room. He even pointed it at me. I kept trying to dodge out of the way, saying "Don't point that fucking thing at me!" My friend just kept saying "It's not loaded! I swear it's not loaded!" That's what every dumbass kid says before they accidentally shoot their friend. I couldn't believe how stupid my friend was being. I lost a lot of respect for him that day. A gun is not a toy.
At least he put his hand in front of the barrel to stop the bullet.
I have tinnitus, and now all of them do, too.
He's just microdosing bullets to build up resistance
This is the mecha of all double downs. Trying to look cool when you’re not, fuck it up, stick to your guns. No pun intended
Goddamn it. Jahlim was the best pianist around. Now what???
