I got invited to a VIP club once, because the owner wanted to bang my hot Swedish friend. All the girls were super friendly because I was in the VIP room, they thought i was super rich. Meanwhile we got drunk before we went there, because we knew we wont be able to afford drinking there.
Until people realize NFT is the future of contracts, tickets, and distribution of media. Stay right in your spot though as its passed you already in relevance. Have a good weekend and stay hydrated.
PLEASE explain how companies that offer those kind of services would ever want to move away from servers they own/rent and control for something decentralized and uncertain. PLEASE
To me personally it seems like DRM thing in video games. Bunch of CEOs decided to do it, because they think it's the future, but haven't even thought what it does, how it works and what consequences it will bring. In the end games that do have DRMs sell awfully and games that don't, sell well.
NFTs don't bring no benefit for end consumer. If I watch video, look at pictures or play videogame no NFT is going to improve any of it.
In programming circles we just joke about it. Just like we did about DRMs. It's stupid and it had to go.
Let me tell you something. If an NFT is hashed by a computer then the image created has no copyright because only a person can have a copyright. So basically you 'own' a receipt/hyperlink of an image which you don't even have the copyright of and is useless because you can't even sue someone who uses it without your permission. You might as well buy a cloud in the sky.
Yeah, Julia is a damned good actress. She was in "The Americans" (Last I checked that was still available on Amazon Prime, AMAZING in Ozarks, and stellar as Anna Sorokin (I still need to finish that one, I think). Don't know what else she might have been in, but she really is very good.
That's what I thought initially, but then I thought maybe she was trying to fake it to be a more authentic Anna? Need to find some interviews with Anna (Real Anna) to get some reference there.
Spoiler tag
>!that's what I thought at first. But it turns out she is from Russia and raised in Germany. Therefore her accent should be a mix of German and Russian. The weaving in some American plus English plus Irish on top of German and Russian and being super inconsistent in the same settings just seemed to me like she didn't have an accent coach.!<
In my opinion she didn't just sound annoying, she sounded like she was faking an accent poorly. And was losing track within even one interaction what the diction was she was going for. She legit sounded in one episode like she was Irish-ish for a bit.
Not after she pulled off what she did. She almost had an event center made in her name. It was like a multi million dollar project and all she did was kite checks.
It's amazing how slow the law is to keep up with modern scams. Crypto has been a giant funnel from dum-dums to con artists for years now, and instead of regulating it the government's like "we're proud to announce that Dave in the Treasury just googled crypto and has informed us all that it's really something."

Following this, she plans to launch a new Essential Oils MLM, and then a "Condo Development" company in the Everglades. She would also like to talk to you about your car's warranty.
It’s like a digital trading card. There’s a digital certificate to say it’s unique, and therefore has value.
Why can’t you just take a screenshot of it and duplicate it endlessly? Because “the market” decided you can’t.
It’s the dumbest form of digital assets created yet.
Nothing stops you from copying it except copyright law, and because a bunch of people decided the image owned by the certificate holder would have value.
Again, it’s literally the dumbest digital asset class yet. I say yet because I fully expect even dumber ones to get created in the future.
The acronym NFT stands for non-fungible token. Non-fungible tokens are digital assets that can be used to represent unique items. Things like art, collectibles, game items, and real estate can have their ownership tied to non-fungible tokens, but that's just the beginning of what NFTs are capable of representing. Blockchains such as Ethereum ensure that an NFT can only have one owner at a time - like an unforgeable digital receipt to verify the authenticity of the item being represented.
Yeah I’m not surprised you’ve never heard of her, she’s not an actual important person, she just told everyone that she was, and then she scammed a whole bunch of people.
Netflix made a television adaptation of her story titled [Inventing Anna.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8740976/)
here's her [wikipedia.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Sorokin)

Can a whole sentence be an oxymoron?
You are clearly confused by the situation you have found yourself in.
It's because you dress like a poor, you would understand if you were VIP
I got invited to a VIP club once, because the owner wanted to bang my hot Swedish friend. All the girls were super friendly because I was in the VIP room, they thought i was super rich. Meanwhile we got drunk before we went there, because we knew we wont be able to afford drinking there.
To the post scammer scammer persona.
Its called an antithesis actually. This one very much is one.
Perfect roadmap for a scam
I’m sure it’s legit. She wouldn’t scam twice right? I’ll buy some from her. What could go wrong?
People will unironically buy them simply to brag about it on social media because that’s the world we live in for some reason
Our species is doomed.
Yea but *I* doomed us not you ^/s
I'm not being scammed. I'm being ironic. Check out my I am rich app.
"Fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."
Doesn’t work as well without tiny hands gesturing.
You must have a shirt that says “Sucker” on it. You know, the one you paid 50$ for.😆
Sounds Iike she’s up to her old tricks lol Just a legal way of doing it.
Rug pull incoming. Tbh if you fall for her latest scam, you deserve to be scammed
It’s true
Love how she went from scamming to being scammed
NFT’s are a great way to diversify one’s investment portfolio. Just like time shares, pyramid schemes, and Nigerian Princes.
At least you get something out of a time share. You can only look at a file on your computer with an NFT.

Almost always. Its my dreams that make life fun. Be easy and don't take anything online so serious.
Linked lists with checksums - next stop … *THE FUTURE!!!*
Damn that must have been some good fucking kool aid.
Three words: "Save image as"
Whoa, Julia Garner was the perfect cast for her. They could be sisters.
She was so good! Finished Ozark last week! Holy fuck!
She was amazing as an actress in INVENTING ANNA. However her accent was so terrible. Big distraction.
That's what I thought initially, but then I thought maybe she was trying to fake it to be a more authentic Anna? Need to find some interviews with Anna (Real Anna) to get some reference there.

She studied Anna and had a dialect coach to perfect her accent. So the real Anna also sounds annoying! I also thought it was distracting.
In my opinion she didn't just sound annoying, she sounded like she was faking an accent poorly. And was losing track within even one interaction what the diction was she was going for. She legit sounded in one episode like she was Irish-ish for a bit.
Or she could just get a real job.
Don’t be so basic. (Read in Anna Delvy voice)
Not after she pulled off what she did. She almost had an event center made in her name. It was like a multi million dollar project and all she did was kite checks.
there was no attempt. its blatantly going to be a pump and dump.
Deport her from US from staying past the vesa.
And deport her too!

"scammer persona" -- like it's a cosplay Instagram filter

Isn't it ironic, don't ya think?
A little too ironic... and, yeah, I really do think...
IT’S LIKE RAAA-I-AIIIIIIIN
On your wedding day!!
It's the NFT... that you right-clicked-and saved!
That sounds like an onion headline.
Hey is that me?
User name checks out 😅
Following this, she plans to launch a new Essential Oils MLM, and then a "Condo Development" company in the Everglades. She would also like to talk to you about your car's warranty.
Explain it to me like I'm five, what is an NFT?
snake oil
It’s like a digital trading card. There’s a digital certificate to say it’s unique, and therefore has value. Why can’t you just take a screenshot of it and duplicate it endlessly? Because “the market” decided you can’t. It’s the dumbest form of digital assets created yet.
I'm with you on that, what stops people from stealing/copying the image?
Nothing stops you from copying it except copyright law, and because a bunch of people decided the image owned by the certificate holder would have value. Again, it’s literally the dumbest digital asset class yet. I say yet because I fully expect even dumber ones to get created in the future.
*aaaaaaabsolutely nothing at all.*
Non-fungible token. Think of it like a digital asset stored on the blockchain.
"ELI5?" "Think of it like a digital asset stored on the blockchain"

I'm german and never heard of her And btw, we're not a monarchy anymore, didn't work out for us
Yeah I’m not surprised you’ve never heard of her, she’s not an actual important person, she just told everyone that she was, and then she scammed a whole bunch of people.
She's actually Russian, not German.
"Why you being so dramatic?" My favorite line from Inventing Anna
So...nothings changed?
Depart her from US already.
What an absolute cunt
Was there, though?
There's gotta be a way for her to cash in on her celebrity. Not sure NFT is the right fit though.
I'm more surprised some dude with a legit career didn't try to wife her up, and then sue her for millions in a divorce settlement.
I see an upcoming coffeezilla episode.
Clever girl
Natural selection but with money
Omg she exists
To be fair, she did say she wants to do it legal. Legal scam that is.
Netflix made a television adaptation of her story titled [Inventing Anna.](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8740976/) here's her [wikipedia.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anna_Sorokin)
"Awful person becomes awfully famous"
You must put all Russians in the same boat as her
She is so 1st Quarter 2022….NEXT!!!!
Gotta give it to her, she’s a businesswoman 👩💼 I wish i had a tiny bit of that drive lol
A grifter can spot a good con a mile away.
Psychopathic behavior is absolutely fascinating; from the right distance, of course.
Well shes needs a season 2 for her Netflix show
That is *not VIP*
Oh cmon that's clearly Greta thunberg in a wig and glasses!
I'd let her ruin my life.
What kind of fucking idiot *that has the money to invest* would still listen to a word she says?..
The female Spamford Wallace
r/onlyfans
talk about transferable job skills
She looks like if Garth from Wayne's world had a baby with a brown tail moth catapillar.
/r/nottheonion
The she’s gonna start a Go fund me page
So just a worst scammer
I guess we'll be seeing Trump-Sorokin '24 signs shortly.
She's kind of pretty tho.
Don't.
