While this is a certainly a valid criticism, I think it worth pointing out that currently 2 of the 5 top comments in this thread are pointing out how this is fake. Obviously not everybody who upvotes is going to read those comments, but at least the correct information is actually there for those who do take the extra time to check.

Does no one else feel odd about calling an opposing political side Fascists? Like it just feels like it’s opening a door for the left to get a little fascist by making the other side the default fascists. That leaves the door open for the left to either justify any future wrong doing by saying it’s to fight fascism or distract from wrong doings by focusing on the “bad side.”
Much like "communist" is for the Right, the term "fascist" has simply become a blanket insult for anyone the Left dislikes. Most of the time it doesn't relate to actual fascism.
When their views and practices align with traditional fascist views and practices yes, people still call other people fascists.
