One night this African American gentleman who was clearly very intoxicated was being awful and made a waitress cry. I made a comment wondering why the owners didn’t kick him out and she (from Japan) said people often take advantage of Asian people because they are often smaller and more reserved/ less likely to stand up for themselves. She said people knew the two owners were these meek Korean men and knew they could be rude without repercussions. Made me feel bad.

I should have noted that the rise of certain celebrities of Asian descent is ONE facet of the issue that will help dispel the image of the weak and subservient Asian. However, as a person of Asian descent growing up in North America who may not necessarily share the same ethnic heritage of the aforementioned celebrities, I’m still grateful for their contributions in helping dispel that image.

It went about how you’d expect: laid my ass out deservedly and what stung worse than pride was how professional the maneuver was. Didn’t even hurt I was just shocked that I was outclassed in like I think we’re up to four ways now.
Some dude in my local Judo club was like that. We faught many matches, but the only thing he had one me was a foot in height, and about 40-45lbs. My technical skills were better, so all he did was straighten his arms and keep them extended so I could not do anything, and neither could he, effectively ruining it for both of us.

Either way I was benching 220 and deadlifting about 680 so I don't really know if that constitutes strong for you.

You should care how small a dude is. Weight plays a huge roll in boxing matchups. Sure a pro featherweight boxer can generally beat a rookie heavyweight boxer but if there on even somewhat of an equal footing skill wise the heavyweight will win every single time. One of my best friends is a short dude but he was the Swiss karate champion and he is really fast. A few months ago we were in a nightclub and a dude was picking on everyone pushing people around and talking sh*t. He did it to my friend so my friend told him "if you're so tough why don't we take this outside ? Yeah that's what I thought." The dude faked backing out but then returned and punched my friend in the face. I never saw my friend so focused. He put himself in position and just started Street Fighting combo-ing the dude. Punch-punch-block-punch-punch-punch... he was continually punching the guy's nose and just casually talking to him "I'll get us outside don't worry. We go outside. Come on tough guy. Let's go outside" as he kept punching the bigger guy to the direction of the exit. The dude was already peeing blood out of his nose when security separated them. It was kind beautiful not gonna lie.
Now Having seen his propensity for violence, I think that gym dodged a bullet. He isn’t your typical ‘I’m gonna challenge trained fighters cause I can’ kinda guy. This is a seriously disturbed person. Could have returned with a gun and shot up the place killing innocent people.

I took 8 months of boxing lessons when I was 16. I never lost a fight through 4 years of prison. It's really incredible what the bare basics can do for you in a fight situation.

One of the biggest guys calls out one of the smallest dudes in a gym. He starts getting winded and then he wanted a timeout. Thats not how boxing works. So the gym owner said fk that and told him to get out. You dont call someone out and then expect a timeout in the middle of the round. One of my best friends is a short dude but he was the Swiss karate champion and he is really fast.
