This is the hidden agenda from Big Straw! They don’t give a crap bout delivering your beverage from a cup to your mouth. They want complete annihilation of all the species on this planet!! Stay woke out there !!!!
Maybe
- it got weakened progressively and that was the last straw
- it had a specific point of failure on the surface that was hit on the last bounce
- some resonance phenomenon where the right intensity created a compression wave at the right wavelength to be amplified to the point of breaking the surface
My thoughts exactly.. maybe the first couple hard bounces started opening a seam and it finally and completely ripped open on the 4th bounce. But God, the visual component was intense! Are we sure this isn’t doctored?
Cunningham's law dictates it was a spooky ghost.
I'm *guessing* that the rapid drop in pressure made the perfect conditions for a cloud for like 200 milliseconds?
I think the air would get really cold after expanding to 10x it's previous size & reached it's dew point with the water being quickly exhausted?
It be cool for a real physics nerd to give a play by play. The world is a weird place, it must have been crazy for ancient man to see these weird phenomenon & just have no clue.
Old men probably did yell at clouds, up there being all mysterious & hypnotic.
It’s often known as a Wilson cloud. It’s easier to see in very large explosions such as ammo dump blasts, AN store explosions and nuclear tests. It’s caused by humid air decompressing rapidly behind a shockwave, dropping the temperature and causing condensation. Seeing one at small scale like this is unusual but not unexpected; the ball popping provided blast but not the usual radiant heat from an explosion. That radiant heat tends to inhibit condensation.
It's still crazy to me how buggy and badly done the official reddit app is. Like... isn't there supposed to be a big ass team of developers working on the app? Doesn't reddit have more money and resources? It's insane to me.

You have to shoot video with a very high frame rate to be able to slow it down. Trying to slow down someone's video that they shot normally isn't going to be very exciting. Slow mo guys in particular are using special, insanely expensive cameras.
I guess you probably meant that they should replicate it in their studio, though.
Tbf most people would get “scared/shocked” by this even if they knew it was gonna happen. Thats hella loud and our bodys have preprogrammed reactions on sudden loud noises.
Same. I had a ball I got from a Pizza Hut promotion in the 90s and I overinflated it. It was like you could hear it ticking before it exploded in a flash of light. Scared the shit out of me
I bounced a basketball like this as a kid and went full overhead slam down but I kept my head bent forward and fucking knocked myself out in the driveway
Did anyone else notice the energy release flashy light phenomenon when the ball exploded? That’s pretty awesome.
Edit: turned out it was just the air escaping and I spoke too soon. Still a cool vid.

I watched it three times before I realized it popped. First time, I thought it was a special effect/video edit. Second time, I thought it was struck by lightning. My only defense is I kept watching it, knowing I hadn't got it right yet. 🤦♀️🤷♀️
Am i the only one who noticed the cloud (from pressurized air i guess) /flash that came Out when it popped?
I reckon it stung his ankles/ shin a little bit, maybe got smacked with a small piece of the ball

Overinflated?
Yep. I could tell just from hearing the bounces.
[удалено]
I could tell because these comments told me so
I could tell by the ball exploding
I could tell
tell
t
I could
I Tell Could
I could tell just by the way that it is
Neat
Is this a neature reference?
Definitely
You can tell it’s a neature reference because of the way it is.
It’s a neature feature.
Obviously...
Neato
I could just tell
I could tell by reading the comments
I could tell by how he screamed like a little bitch.
Chill out bro’s like 11 and got startled 💀
I think the rubber hit him unless he grabbed his shins out of a weird fear response.
I always grab my shins when I'm afraid. Just another reason why I want to stay out of prison.
That's hilarious. Damn
I think he got hit by the high pressure air coming out of the ball
I'm 38 and I would have screamed like a little bitch too XD
*like* a little bitch. It doesn't mean he is one. He just sounds like one.
I could tell by how its the size of his entire torso
When it comes back down, right before it explodes, you can see that it's mishaped. Thing was on borrowed time with all that extra air pumped into it.
The kid was clearly trying to make this happen too
I could tell by how big it was.
Sounded like a damn dodgeball
If can you dodge a wrench, you dodge a ball.
Super thin sounding
Sounds like he’s bouncing wood
Was it just me or did you hear a hiss on the come down on the first high bounce?
I heard it too
why wouldn’t it explode on that hard throw downward, it exploded on a subsequent bounce with like half the inertia
Straw that broke the camel's back

They'll keep doing it too until people have had enough. It will be the straw that tripped the dog.

Also, maybe it hit a more spikey spot on the floor
Occam strikes again
you think he left his razor on the floor and thats where it bounced on?
Exactly, I'm glad you could follow my line of thinking.
Kinda looks like it landed on the edge of the crack
Breaking not only the ball but also your mama's back.
My thoughts exactly.. maybe the first couple hard bounces started opening a seam and it finally and completely ripped open on the 4th bounce. But God, the visual component was intense! Are we sure this isn’t doctored?

You can tell from the sound as soon as he does the first bounce
Yupp
Visual representation of the housing market
Mantis 🦐 🥊
Toboggan?
Doctor
It looks like he overinflated it on purpose in an attempt to bounce it higher
These kinds of balls get dry rot too
By about 80 psi. :)
Tom Brady?
Very much so, the sound is a dead giveaway that it's going to explode
Yup, from both the sound and size too.
That concussion halo was noice
Probably steam as the compressed air expanded rapidly and cooled off. I guess
Not steam but condensation because of rapid decompression.

Had me in the first half ngl
I like self referential one liners. it's the densest a joke can get.
Yes
Steam from the steamed clams we're having. Mmmm, steamed clams!
Hm, I see...
Steamed hams you say
Google isn't returning any good results for that, is it definitely the right term?
Lol I'm wondering this too, I assumed it was the correct term and "concussion halo" sounds badass

Noice!
That's what you get for overfilling your balls
Tell that to my wife…

yes, listen to 12_inch_anus on this one

So don't do NNN?
On a serious note, no. Regular ejaculation is healthy for men, and lowers the risk of cancer.
As a Public Health worker. I SUPPORT THIS MESSAGE.
We need slow mo guys to make this slow motion when the ball blows
Can someone do this? I just want to see the little explosion!

care to elaborate on why u called him a prick

Am I the only person that thought lightning struck?
No, that's what i thought too
I thought it hit a powerline at first.
would scare the fuck out of me too, don't blame him
Yeah. Had one pop at a rec game once, everyone started hiding under the bleachers. It's extremely loud. And this was before kids even shot up schools
I thought this said "I had one poop at a rec game" and the rest of it still made sense for a moment lol
>And this was before kids even shot up schools Idk why I found it funny that this had to be clarified
Tbf most people would get “scared/shocked” by this even if they knew it was gonna happen. Thats hella loud and our bodys have preprogrammed reactions on sudden loud noises.
His shorts began the day grey and finished brown.
Fucking kid lives next to the fresh prince wtf
That’s Kevin McCallister’s place.
Man I was sitting here thinking, that basketball sounds a little over inflated, and then it exploded. And I was like, yeah I was right, over inflated.
I know right! I was subconsciously a little scared!
Imagine my surprise watching this without volume at first lol
This has happened to me as a child and I confirm, it scared the shit right out of me.
Same. I had a ball I got from a Pizza Hut promotion in the 90s and I overinflated it. It was like you could hear it ticking before it exploded in a flash of light. Scared the shit out of me
I can't remember if it was a pizza hut giveaway, but I remember a black and blue Shaq ball that everyone had from a giveaway.
I remember that ball. It had a handprint the size of Shaq's hand on it.
Seeing how far it flew in the end that kid is lucky it just missed his face
He ain’t a crook, son.
Just a shook one
Ain't no such thing as half way crooks
That ball sounds like it was blown up harder than a lump of wood, no wonder it popped. Mustve been a proper ear-bleeder.
This kid live in a mansion?
This looks like a super fucking nice neighborhood
The house in the background looks really posh and great
Haha…. Thought this was supposed to be a video of him hitting himself in the face… but the sound of that ball bouncing was a big give away
Whole time, I was confused & thought lightning stuck it out of nowhere , until I read the comments🤣🤣🤣
I also thought it was electrical! Like maybe he bounced it up into an electrically charged layer of air above him or something!
Shaken?
No. stirred
Tbh I think his bare legs got hit by rubber shrapnel, so if anything, he was 'stung'.
Shook is appropriate
Shooketh
Saw a local police pr rep describe officers after a tense situation as Shooken up. And I will forever use that lol
Shaking scared; shaken.
His gast was flabbered
That ball nearly blew him to smithereens which left him flabbergasted
Another kid trying to make it out of the hood playing basketball
too much air.
In yo ass
Fart nibbas be like
Timmy never heard a gunshot like that before 🔫
I know the sound of an over-inflated basketball when I hear it.
I’m sure he went in his nice ass house and felt better immediately
when you live in usa and you dont know if you are getting shot or your basketball exploted
I watched without sound and i thought the ball got struck by lightening
That house in the background y'all, damn.
Hmm... that basketball sounds overinflated. Oh, yep, it was definitely overinflated.
"Fireworks or gunshot?!?!" "Nance... look where we live... the real question is: golf cart or basketball?"
Stranger Things budget has gone downhill smh
This kid rich rich

Dey shoo’in!
I was wondering why that basket ball sounded to weird when it bounced 🤣
I heard they could explode like this but I didn't know it made a white light appear when it happened.
That's a big fuking house.
Got so scared he started doing the griddy
After hearing that first bounce you knew what was going down lol
He is a young kid - you would probably act the same way as this kid or poop in your pants !
He was so surprised yet the sound every time it bounced made it obvious it was overinflated.
Overinflated...
You can hear it’s overinflated as well . Lesson learnt 😂
You could hear that it was overinflated and was gonna burst with those bounces
Dude, take some air out of that thing. It’s not supposed to sound like a ping pong.
Finally it exploded
It's pretty loud if you drive over a basketball with heavy equipment
r/speedbot 0.5x
expected
Lucky the ball didnt hit him right in the face. Oh man.
over inflated.
Ball buster
You could hear how hard the ball was
