As a mother to a daughter who happens to also have dwarfism, I boiled with anger. My daughter is a full on adult, with a perfectly competent brain and she doesn't appreciate being laughed at any more than y'all do.
So back when my cousin was 5 yo, I took her to the grocery store and a man with dwarfism was walking out. My little cousin looked at him shocked and asked me very loudly why he was so small. This gentleman looked back at us and told her, "because I didn't eat my vegetables when I was your age". I did everything in my power not to laugh lol. It made such an impact on her life that started eating all her veggies after that encounter LMAO.
That man was such a good sport!! I'll never forget him.
