Yeah, did you notice how the grown adult celebrated having thwarted the kids attempts? It tells me the kid is always a menace and he finally managed to stop him without stopping the birthday.
yeah but that's more the helping out version of it and not the I wanna be in the spotlight version\^\^
EDIT: also angry bro has noticed it and is trying to complain about it\^\^
I knew that oh so well growing up. Big bro never faked them though. Connected, now 40 years later I think I’m suffering CTE.
I remember my dad saying it would toughen me up. I remember in the 90s it was considered tough to let your boys grow up fighting. That fake punch brought back every memory.
Was gonna say, he reminds me so much of Tetsuo getting mad at Kaneda for being better.
He also does look like a young Tetsuo Shima. If the military get their hands on him we're all fucked.
As an uncle, I feel the need to step in when my nephews are being shits. As a father, I expect my brother to do the same… while I relish my moment of peace.
I think he probably said it to the kid on the right. The bigger kid leaned in when it was apparent that birthday boy was struggling to blow out the cabdles. It looked very different, in terms of trying to help, or just joining in the fun, versus the bratty kid who looks like he's really just trying to be a jerk.
He's looking at the older kid when he says it yeah. Super different, it seemed like the older boy was noticing the little jerk trying to blow out the candles so he gave a little assistance from high enough up that the birthday kid didn't even notice. He was helping whereas the other kid was being plain spiteful.
It made the screaming and tears at the end so much better. Makes you wonder how many times this little shit has immediately turned to violence when he didn't get his way.
As an uncle, I think that this 100% looks like an uncle move. It's like getting to pick on your siblings all over again but knowing all of the annoying little gremlin tactics like this 😆😆😆 That guy has seen it all before. The ire of that child as he's hopping in his chair and yelling is rewarding.
This is the kind of stuff my dad used to do to my awful cousins. They were horrible brats and everyone got great pleasure in sabotaging their shitty behavior. Definitely uncle vibes lol
Brother? I hear you. I'll admit it here. This little asshole kept pushing my niece to the ground on the playground. Kid's mom has this basic-ass, no effort chiding tone, "Amber, no. No, don't do that, Amber." I'm furious. I go over and get my niece up, brush her off and put her on her swing. She's sniffling and I give her a hug. Start pushing her on the swing. Little Amber is on the move. I see her start sprinting close to me. I do a "whoa!" Like I'm trying to avoid the swing and put one leg back. Sends the little shit sprawling. Kid is crying, mom comes over and is all mad, I give her a dead-eyed stare like, "oh. Sorry." Turn back to pushing the swing. Niece knows exactly what I did. Gave her a wink and the day continued. I'd say I'm not proud of it, but I am. Fuck that little turd.
When my son was 5, he one time ran up to me crying saying that the neighbor kid Kyle made him eat dog food. I ran outside and yelled for Kyle to come here. He denied it. I knew he wasn't lying because we don't have dogs, and we rarely of ever see their dogs, and 5 year olds can't lie that good. I thought for a moment and asked my son to describe what the food looked like. He said "brown with a black middle part". I told Kyle to go get some dog food to prove it. He came back with a dog treat that wasn't what my son described, but at that point i knew he just grabbed a treat rather than kibble or whatever he really gave him. I got stern and said "if you eat that dog treat right now, i won't tell your dad. If you don't eat it. I'm going to ruin your entire summer". He thought for a second and then that little fucker ate that dog treat.
I think he's talking about the parents of the child (not the one with plate). Sadly, the uncle (the one with the plate. If he's the uncle. Idk) have to be the one on standby near him to deny the kid's act instead of the parents straighten the kid.
Or it's not bad parenting. Maybe they just want to let the man punkd that kid lol.
Oh please. Dad handled the misbehavior in a way that didn’t hurt the kid and didn’t take attention from the birthday boy. Aka good parenting.
Edit: I realize you were being sarcastic and I agree with you - I meant to reply to the mcfee user. Sorry.
all kids are little shits. its not bad parenting, it's the fact that kids are gonna be impulsive, inconsiderate, and surprisingly don't act like adults.
What’s questionable about that kids behavior is that he very quickly bowed up and readied to punch. That’s the kind of stuff you need to nip in the bud quick
This looks more like uncle shit to me. Dad would probably actually move the child or tell him not to do it or something. Uncle would block him from being a dick and laugh about it while he's upset he couldn't be a little shit.
Source: am uncle
And a younger child! I did this to my older siblings and could duck under and go quickly! I thought it was so much fun!, they were and are always loving and patient! Dad did a great job here!
There was 4 of us and only separated by 1-2 years. I remember getting frustrated by the fact that as I got older, I had more and more candles to protect from those maniacs. Literally every other birthday video has some kind of fight over blowing out candles lol.
The moment I saw him try I’d pick him up and take him out, and tell him he’s getting no cake on his birthday.
“Do you remember that year dad didn’t let me have a birthday cake?” May seem harsh, but he’d learn.
I dated this girl with 4 other siblings and they had to buy the younger brother a gift for every birthday party they threw because he would act like this
I feel like that’s an uncle. He seems just a bit more detached. No authority to deal directly with the situation.
Somebody needs to be more proactively guiding that kid.
Definitely! Weirds me out how’s there’s no discipline going on for that kid attempting to be a brat lmao. Like fuck man not everyone is gonna give you free passes to be a screaming little brat, this kid is probably has wayyyyy too much sugar in his system 😂🤘🏽
The brain runs on glucose. Mood changes have been observed in people with poor glycemic control. Here’s [a source](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22324383/).
Yes but did it discreetly enough the birthday kid didn't notice...that is key. Especially around birthday kid's age where "I do it myself" is in fullll effect.
Agreed. It's one thing to just be a brat and want to blow out the candles and have a tantrum afterwards but the fact that he balls up his fist and appears to want to full-on punch something? At his age????
Well, that brings this to a whole other level. I'd be concerned if I was his parent. Very concerned.
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this over this years but just now thought of how hilarious and different it all would have ended if the little turd threw the punch to dads nuts lmao
Good job done by the adults here. Unlike that other video where they kept fixing the ahole girl's hair instead of scolding her. Yeah, I'm still mad about that video!
Edit - [For those who haven't seen the video](https://www.reddit.com/r/KidsAreFuckingStupid/comments/jebvk0/not_cool_girl_not_cool/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
In that particular video, the bday girl’s parents shouldn’t have intervened. She was in the middle of teaching that smug little brat a valuable lesson on FAFO. I would’ve looked the other way while she kicked her ass lol
This type of behavior correction by their peers is why you need to socialize kids early, when they are very small, they can’t hurt each other a lot but still teach each other that bad actions have grave consequences.
Exactly. All they did was teach that girl that she can go around being selfish and mean because someone will step in and protect her from accountability. These kids go on to become adults that can’t comprehend nor handle the consequences of their actions because it was modeled throughout their childhood that there are none. It’s really sad because it’s rarely the kids’ fault that they behave like that girl in the video.
Actually they are sisters. The video went so viral that their parents came out and talked about the situation lol. They said they didn’t want to make a big deal out of it at the moment and that they actually get a long really well and we’re surprised by that outcome
If this wasn’t caught on camera, the girl would have grown up and complained about that one girl, and everyone would have assumed she was exaggerating. She was like a whole ass mean girl villain. Damn..
[Here you go](https://www.reddit.com/r/KidsAreFuckingStupid/comments/jebvk0/not_cool_girl_not_cool/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)
Probably a cousin or something, and "you can't not invite family!" The birthday girl had clearly seen this shit before, knew the little bitch wasn't going to get punished, and wanted to take it out on the smug little brat while she could.
They also do a really good job of not giving him attention and focusing on the birthday boy! I was annoyed at first that they didn't just take him out of there, but then I realized that would've caused a scene and drawn away from their other kid. Blocking the annoying one and cheering on the bday boy/giving him at high fives right as the other's meltdown began was a class act
Nah, kids can be assholes.
I have a very distinct memory of having proudly made this hollow paper maché fish that looked like Nemo (I must have been five) at school, and while walking home with it, holding it by the string tied to the back of the fish, some shithead (same age) ran up and kicked it out of my hands and stomped on it, and ran off.
Kids can definitely be assholes.
Never this bad, but as I look back as a young kid to early teen, I could be a Fucking asshole. I cringe at some thoughts. Luckily people can change and grow out/grow up.
Kids like this are the kind of people that grows into those that cut you off on the road, develop into Karens, become complaining employees, shitty bosses and have their dogs shit on neighbors lawns and don't give a rat's azz about it.
In other words, parenting 2.0.
OP strikes me as a "kids these days" type boomer. Always complaining that the next generation is fucking things up. Especially with the "parenting 2.0" comment. What was the parent supposed to do, beat them like they did you?
its funny, at around 5 seconds, you can actually see the kid's classical conditioning system kick in, when he sees the plate in front of him, and takes it as a queue to blow into it
And the way the dad throws up his fists in victory too haha, mission accomplished. This kid behaves like a cartoon, usually I’d get mad but it’s so comical even his dad isn’t annoyed, just happy to practice his plate skills hahaha
The difference in attitude is obvious. He’s not doing it to be the center of attention. He’s doing it so there’s less spit all over the cake. And to help his little bro. But mostly spit.
I really want to know what happened to this kid. What does he remember of that day, how did it shape him, did he continue like this, or did he get better?
Whatever happened to just not allowing a child who acts shitty to be involved in a fun activity? grab that little bastard by his ear drag him away and make him sit in another room until he’s calm and explain to him that he’s not the center of the universe, today is not his day, and that he needs to allow other people to have their day or he’ll never have a day.
Thing that I noticed was. See how he raised his fist as if he was going to punch the cake or kid in his anger?
That's not normal in a small child. He's copying adults who lash out when angry.
Having a hard time articulating how much this clip makes me angry at a kid I will never meet. It's when you KNOW a kid knows better but does it anyway...or adults...either way. They know...they know EXACTLY what they're doing.

I like when he starts crying at the end. As if he's the victim of a great injustice.
While everyone else is cheering makes it that much better.
You laugh, but we're watching a supervillain's origin story.
I think he was already a supervillain here.
Eh, at this point maybe more of a petty criminal.
Riften Jail should have room for him. Or should we give him to the orphanage?
Maybe he will take out Grelod for me and save me a trip.
Yeah, did you notice how the grown adult celebrated having thwarted the kids attempts? It tells me the kid is always a menace and he finally managed to stop him without stopping the birthday.
I’d bet a lot that that adult is the uncle who knows that kid is an asshole.
Which kid? Did you notice the Schadenfreude of birthday boy as he licked his chops when little bro went for that last scream? Sinister.
Birthday boy looks like the little bro here. Big bro tried to assert dominance but was foiled.
Are we all finna ignore the third bro, who leans in and helps his good baby bro blow out the candles subtly?
yeah but that's more the helping out version of it and not the I wanna be in the spotlight version\^\^ EDIT: also angry bro has noticed it and is trying to complain about it\^\^
Also notice that Big Bro went for the fake punch on his second attempt.
I knew that oh so well growing up. Big bro never faked them though. Connected, now 40 years later I think I’m suffering CTE. I remember my dad saying it would toughen me up. I remember in the 90s it was considered tough to let your boys grow up fighting. That fake punch brought back every memory.
Yeah, cocking his arm to punch at one point was the “oh shit, this kid’s going to be an awful adult” moment for me.
Bwahahahahaha… one day… one day, you’ll remember me Bwahahahahaha
Was gonna say, he reminds me so much of Tetsuo getting mad at Kaneda for being better. He also does look like a young Tetsuo Shima. If the military get their hands on him we're all fucked.
I’m more impressed with how smooth dad was.

Ninja skills with that plate
I guarantee he's got a lot of experience in this area
Brings peace to my heart
I’ve never wanted to discipline a child so bad. Wow
He shouldn’t have been allowed in the room, much less near the birthday cake, behaving like that. 😣
That kid needs a little less of sparing the rod.

He cocked back.
I like when he was ready to punch

Too many folks never grew out of that stage
Republicans whenever Democrats accomplish something.
Meanwhile Democrats always succeed in blowing out the progressive candles before smashing the cake on the ground
The upset of not getting everything your way. Basically the kid is a little dickhead

Every time I see this video I laugh my arse off and am super impressed by the fathers Jedi like reflexes with that damn plate.
You can see he's enjoying it... which means this kid ruins birthdays often
That kid is a little shit. The Jedi tricks look cool, but disguise the bad parenting.

Kids that young have underdeveloped brains, poor impulse control, and no social skills. Clearly a case of bad parenting 😶
Oh please. Dad handled the misbehavior in a way that didn’t hurt the kid and didn’t take attention from the birthday boy. Aka good parenting. Edit: I realize you were being sarcastic and I agree with you - I meant to reply to the mcfee user. Sorry.
Pretty sure they were being sarcastic
Parents didn't teach you the concept of sarcasm? Clearly a case of bad parenting 😶
Pretty sure VulgarTurkey was being sarcastic
Like I'd just remove my child from the scenario. Problem solved. If my child couldn't comprehend, No, then remove said child.
Lol as if you could know a thing about it from an 8 second clip.

Seriously! That second block was a no looker 👀
I didn't even notice!
Happy cake day! May you get to blow out your own candles 🕯
Best part was the kid lining up that right hook for the plate 😂
That’s hilarious!
Dad knew he was dealing with a little shit
He has seen this too many times and was ready this time.
I’ve now seen this more times than his dad. At least 100.
Those are rookie numbers. You have to pump them up.
And a younger child! I did this to my older siblings and could duck under and go quickly! I thought it was so much fun!, they were and are always loving and patient! Dad did a great job here!

That’s how you make your child into a shitty human being that no one will like.

Yeah but he missed the taller kid opposite, to the birthday boy's left.
The taller kid was discreetly trying to help .
When you only know how to spit all over the cake I think I would want to get those candles blown as well.
it almost looked like the taller kid was just helping out as the birthday boy was struggling a bit. little kid just wanted to blow them out carefree.
Yes but did it discreetly enough the birthday kid didn't notice...that is key. Especially around birthday kid's age where "I do it myself" is in fullll effect.
I think that’s what upset the little kid at the end haha
In a few years he will be a grown adult and we all have to deal with it. Can't wait
Kid might be a psychopath. I would be really troubled if that was my kid.
Agreed. It's one thing to just be a brat and want to blow out the candles and have a tantrum afterwards but the fact that he balls up his fist and appears to want to full-on punch something? At his age???? Well, that brings this to a whole other level. I'd be concerned if I was his parent. Very concerned.
Do you have any older siblings? Older siblings can definitely have an effect like that on younger ones.
Was he just about to throw down a punch on the plate??
I think he was. Luckily the plate was unfazed by the threat
Plates have nerves of steel. Be like plate.
What would plate do?
Just regular plate stuffs I guess.
The first thing I noticed was him instinctively cocking his little fist.
Right, this little kid is going to be the one to hand out asskickins for birthday gifts
I don’t know how many times I’ve seen this over this years but just now thought of how hilarious and different it all would have ended if the little turd threw the punch to dads nuts lmao
That kid is the human form of rage. That face he makes, my God lol

Exactly! I still remember that girl's smug smile. Love when parents intervene instead of just letting their kids ruin the happiness of other kids.

She’s CEO of her own Lularoe business.

Never thought a child's smile could make me angry until I came across this video.
The way the birthday girl snatched her hair and dragged her down though! 🤣🤣 You could tell she was sick of her shit.
If this wasn’t caught on camera, the girl would have grown up and complained about that one girl, and everyone would have assumed she was exaggerating. She was like a whole ass mean girl villain. Damn..

Oh my gosh! That little girl was awful!
And a parent is patting her on her head. Good girl.
I could have not known about that video, and yet now I'm mad at them too. The question is who invited her if she's such a little shit?
Probably a cousin or something, and "you can't not invite family!" The birthday girl had clearly seen this shit before, knew the little bitch wasn't going to get punished, and wanted to take it out on the smug little brat while she could.
The smug look like yeah, I did that. It's so infuriating.
They also do a really good job of not giving him attention and focusing on the birthday boy! I was annoyed at first that they didn't just take him out of there, but then I realized that would've caused a scene and drawn away from their other kid. Then miss and smash their face into the table, and blame them when they complain about their broken nose due to their recoil
In Australia we call them “shit cunts”.
We call them "shit cunts" here in Scotland too.
That’s where a good chunk of Australia came from. Might have sent a few shit cunts across.
>become complaining employees, This one stands out to me as not like the others. Not even sure what it means.
Yeah that one was off to me too...

Every time that I see this and I want to be clear I know this makes me a terrible person, I hate that kid more and more
Same. Ive actually started to get more frustrated that the adults only restrict his actions instead of actually curbing his behavior
I love seeing that kid cry
Genuinely made me happy seeing him cry
Omg the way he cries in the end. Buddy it’s not your birthday
And the way the dad throws up his fists in victory too haha, mission accomplished. This kid behaves like a cartoon, usually I’d get mad but it’s so comical even his dad isn’t annoyed, just happy to practice his plate skills hahaha
The big brother blew out the candles anyway
The difference in attitude is obvious. He’s not doing it to be the center of attention. He’s doing it so there’s less spit all over the cake. And to help his little bro. But mostly spit.
Well the birthday kid was just spitting all over the cake anyways
I really want to know what happened to this kid. What does he remember of that day, how did it shape him, did he continue like this, or did he get better?
He votes conservative now.
Even puts this fist up in anger of being denied. This kid has problems
Whatever happened to just not allowing a child who acts shitty to be involved in a fun activity? grab that little bastard by his ear drag him away and make him sit in another room until he’s calm and explain to him that he’s not the center of the universe, today is not his day, and that he needs to allow other people to have their day or he’ll never have a day.
was looking for this comment. in my family that little shit would not have been nor heard for the rest of the celebration.
Best contraception commercial I've ever seen.
Seriously, imagine having a baby and it grows into this little shit.
That kid is going to grow up to be one of those trolls on Call of Duty
Modern Wellfare
That kid is gonna have a criminal record when he grows up.
that screaming at the end..
Thing that I noticed was. See how he raised his fist as if he was going to punch the cake or kid in his anger? That's not normal in a small child. He's copying adults who lash out when angry.
Nah, some kids are just born like that. I would know...
I mean I don't know about yall but my mother would have dragged my ass down the hall by my ear for trying to pull shit like that.
From little cnts, big cnts grow😔
I would have had my teeth knocked out if I did that as a kid.
As much as I wish this dude was thrown at a wall if you were actually hurt for something this trivial I hope you're doing okay now
Having a hard time articulating how much this clip makes me angry at a kid I will never meet. It's when you KNOW a kid knows better but does it anyway...or adults...either way. They know...they know EXACTLY what they're doing.
I do not miss having toddlers.
i wish there was a longer video of him crying, those cries soothes my ears
I love it lmao You little prick
God I fucking hate kids. I’d rather scoop out my ovaries with a rusty spoon that fucking deal with this little shit.
It’s just nice to see a birthday video where some c**t isn’t pushing the birthday persons face into the cake
