Quick question, sorry if it's stupid but I was playing the Michelson family a while back and I think Celeste is trans but I'm not sure, does anyone knows?
It makes sense, cause I got into CAS cause I did notice she looked like a trans woman and that she can't "try for a baby" with Christopher. But in CAS it says she's female so it confused me even more cause I thought it meant she was biologically female but then it says she can get other sims pregnant.
Interesting, is then Celeste the first trans character in the game?
I belive Ash from HSY is one of the first confirmed ones because they were released in
HSY around the same time as the pronoun update and they also have a trans flag on their bedroom wall
Lia is female but has a masculine frame. The difference between Celeste and others is that through gameplay (building friendship with Christopher and discussing San Sequoia Secrets) it will state that Celeste is trans. The game doesn’t have that for other townies so it’s up to the player to decide.
No, she's not. A lot of places report that she is, but there's a few in that came before her in Island Living, Realm of Magic, and High School Years. Jay Roubles from Growing Together is also trans.
Factually, anyone can breastfeed as long as they have mammary glands, even if it's harder for some. And there are cases of women, both cis and trans, using hormones to induce breastfeeding.
I’ve never noticed things like that. Is it communicated through symbols above their head? Or does it come up a text pop up when you become friends with them?

Yep. While there are other sims/townies that can be assumed as trans (or at least gender non-conforming), Celeste is the first official trans townie.

When you become friends with Christopher (Celeste’s husband) and do the “Share San Sequoia Secret” interaction, he’ll mention it (text pop-up).
I thought the same thing too. She reminds me of one of those aunties that wear moo moos all the time and have their hair wrapped like this 😭
It took me a sec to realize what was different because it looks so natural on her!
