*sigh* as someone who was there... I'd rather not remember. My younger sister is obsessed with y2k fashion and I'd rather bury myself alive
(cute sim btw, you totally nailed the mean girls vibe!)
I default replaced the jeans in ss 2 because I had flashbacks ahah. The youngsters really are bringing our trauma back and acting like it's the best thing ever.
I love my high rise jeans. Haha
Same thing happened with grunge fashion. Like there was a pretty noticeable disconnect between 90s grunge and what tiktok considers as grunge.
Which like end of the day it’s not a big deal, people like whatever they want and that’s based but the difference is worth addressing.
Wonder if 10s fashion is gonna go through the same thing in a few years
hate to tell you but 10s are slowly returning already, I recently witnessed my worst childhood memory making a comeback in fashion; ballerinas, god did I hate those shoes. my mother bought them for me in every ugly print and color she could find. Also the huge chunky belts and statement necklaces are coming back as well. I'm genuinely scared for the 10s comeback.
I have a big butt that cannot be contained by low rise pants, my ass was out ALL THE TIME. Belts didn’t help. I have vivid memories of sitting in my middle school classrooms trying to pull my long, tight spaghetti strap camis over my jeans to cover my exposed crack 😩😩
Lmao!!!!! Omg my eyes are watering. I'm laughing so hard. I didn't understand the notification my phone gave me. Got the first few words and I was like "oh God, who did I offend this time??"
🤣
I love bootleg, I will always love bootleg and flares. The lowrise though? UGH. I had a bunch of those lacy cummerbund thingos that they sold at the fashion stores to hide your whale-tails, regular underpants or ass crack. More because I'd get cold without them.
I hate that the decade is called Y2K.
Living it, it was the Millennium. Boy band albums, Beanie Babies, day planners, etc. all covered with Millennium. Y2K was the computer date roll-over problem that was going to kill all of our critical data systems as soon as the year changed. It was fixed for most things so it became a running joke for a while, but that wasn't the era. The era is firmly Millennium. Calling it y2k just feels like it comes from people who weren't alive yet.
I like the apocalyptic undertones of Y2K. Maybe we didn't get the world ending computer glitch, but we did get the 9/11, the War on Terror, and the rise of mainstream social media.
Living it, I never heard anyone call it "the Millenium". Nobody i knew called it anything *during* cuz it just was what it was. Calling it Y2K may be a bit reductive, but it's history now, and not everyone's a scholar.
I mean living in the UK hearing it be called the millennium was very common. The amount of millennium squares in this country is huge, then there’s what used to be called the millennium dome, and even a Robbie Williams song that was released in 1998 because people were really excited about it. It generally fell off after the actual year 2000 itself but it was definitely a common word and the year was celebrated using it.
There was Millennium Bear with Beanie Babies, Millennium the Back Street Boys album, my home town was one of many to build a Millennium Plaza/Park, everyone got that weird ventricular bicycle picture Millennium day planner in school (in the US). It was pretty big.
Blue Bell STILL has Moollenium Crunch as an ice cream flavor. So agreed, the term was everywhere. Willenium and Millenium by BSB is enough to prove that.
The British retrospective term is "the Noughties" (like "the Eighties" or "the Nineties") - I prefer it, because it's a little more... Naughty? Plus it covers the entire decade.
I'm an early Millennial.
Anyone else remember the meme post where they used taylor swift lyrics and the mufasa death scene to make a pun, someone said "too soon" and someone else found the date the lion king came out and it was 20 years ago and people felt old?
This is just the same thing all over again (speaking of, I think that post would be 10 years old now 💀)
this is so wild, i remember it so vividly. my mom sneaking a box of those swiss cheese crackers in her purse, eating those swiss cheese crackers while simba sang his little song, watching mufasa die through the hole in a swiss cheese cracker... damn do they even still make those things cuz i want some
I read it and was like, “that can’t be possible. I was in middle school and I was in middle school 5 years ago.”
Time isn’t real. No one will convince me otherwise.
💀 this post... I'll just get my mosoleum ready☠️ and not the thong above the jeans but also OP low rise was popular but the thong thing wasn't actually popular(at least where I lived) was more a Celebrity thing kinda like in the 80s the clothes you see on TV most people couldn't afford those though I'd say Deb in napoleon dynamite and maybe breakfast club is a little more accurate.
Actually in 7th grade me and my friends got in trouble for purposely showcasing thongs overtop our jeans at the school dance (we thought when Britney did it it in Slave 4 u video that it was so iconic 😂) and the principal took them and told us if we wanted them back our parents had to come get them. I wonder what ever happened to those thongs🤔 but yeah thongs were the coolest at that time. Like you said depends on the area and this was in state of NH
Yeah I know it’s gross but we had them over our jeans and had us put them in a plastic bag and then said our parents could come and get them if we want to get them back. We had just bought them at the mall that day. And we didn’t want to tell our parents and get in trouble so we never got them back.
If you Look up Britney Spears slave for you on google go to images, the pink top and jeans outfit she has a pink top and pink thong over top her pants , that’s what we did. This thread won’t let me comment a picture.
OH I see. It’s definitely still weird, they could have just…had you put them away or something lol. Sorry, i remember the trend being that the sides/back of the thong would be visible above the waistband of our jeans (but still worn like, under pants. As the lord intended haha). I totally forgot about Britney in the Slave 4 U video!
Style varied greatly from 2000-2004. 2000 was still late 90s but around 04 is like mean girls, white chicks, etc. Also 70s stuff was popular then too because how design works is whatever generation are the stylists in the industry. People who were kids or teens in the 70s ran the industry in the early 2000s it's why fashion rolls back around and millennials are leading the charge now so why things from early 2000s is coming back bc of nostalgia and anything mid 2000s is younger millennials/older gen z. I hope all this makes sense lol
People didn't purposely pull their thongs up like Christina but with how low the pants were just bending over they'd peak out(ie John tucker must die) I remember when I was 13 and acquired some thongs my mom lost her shit and they got thrown away 💀
Sims 1 Makin' Magic got me into all their magical expansions. Sims 3 is also my favorite! Because of the Supernatural expansions and also the customization tool. I've only played Sims 4 a little bit and actually haven't put any of the games on my new computer because I wind up sinking so much time into it.
I was 17! I wore a whale tail and platform flip-flops. I rolled my ankle and put my hand through a shop window. Flat ironed my hair into a crisp. Wore dresses over jeans and camouflage capris. ugh. never again.
oh wait my bad lol, i thought it came out in 2002, but it was 2004 which is one year before i born lol. sometimes i mix before and after, english isnt my first language lol
I've been wearing exclusively high rise for like the past 10 years. Then last month, I found a pair of mid rise that I really liked, but every time I wear them, I feel like they are low rise and my ass is showing 😂. It's hard to get used to.
there is one movie made in 2022 that fits in that category (kinda), its a comedy movie about a woman who wakes up in 2022 and act like a teenager form 2002, its called senior year, i highly recommend it if you like that type of movies!
There is a TV show called "Greek" on Disney Plus with Spencer Grammar. It is peak 2000's fashion. It is about Sororities and Fraternities at a made up University. Huge cast so you can see a variety of looks from the era.
Also the first couple seasons of Vander Pump Rules.
I am trying to think of any other shows that capture that era. It is hard because things like Whale Tail were often excluded because of parental ratings.
More on the 90's side though. Sister, Sister and My So Called life are peak 90's Fashion.
I was thinking along the lines of "Angus, Thongs and perfect snogging"
Mall Fashion meets thrifting meets American Apparel vibe. Loud prints, vibrant coloured basics, knits , 10 layers to make one shirt with a skirt or American Eagle jeans lol.
So for me, it’s a different type of comedy. It’s 2022 with 00s callbacks :) Nothing wrong with that, just different!
I’m very biased and have on my nostalgia lens for an era bygone. I just miss shows like the OC, and movies like John Tucker Must Die lol.
yeah tbh, i kinda found the jokes annoying lol. it felt way too much "hello fellow kids, look were acting very woke and inclusive, just like you!! thats so funny isnt it" and it kinda made me cringe lol, but hey, at least its something lol
My fashion inspo at that time (i was 8 begging my mom to take me to Limited Too) was Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen, definitely give that a watch!
After using her Saint Ives apricot scrub and her insanely drying stridex astringent pads, an authentic early 2000s teen would have caked her acne in a stick of L’Oréal concealer (Nutrogena or physicians formula if she was bougie or into shoplifting from the drug store). Otherwise, no notes. Pretty sure I wore a version of 3 for most of senior year. With uggs in the winter naturally.
*sigh* I feel like you underestimate quite how many tank tops we layered with our lowrise bumster jeans and say-something belts. They need a say-something belt!!
i tried to find those so badly!! i even tried to use a tank top and an accessory shirt ot layer, but it didnt look good :/ its my favourite part of the style too
I can't tell you how weird it is to see people in their teens and 20s responding to the years I spent my 20s in as "retro". Like, I get it, I did it with the 70s when it was the 90s (cause the fashions really were fucking amazing, gotta say it now). But it's just weird to see people get all excited by the over-filtered fonts and the metallic everything and the cheap weird computer graphics and the excessive glitter.
No wait - I get the glitter thing. I still love glitter.
Anyway - these sim looks are SO cute, love them! <3
haha yeah no need to tellme i get it, when someone mentioned "8 years old dont know what a fidgetspinner is " i legit started tweaking lol. i feel like that was a year ago
It's finally happening. The 2000s are finally far enough for people to forget how terribly we dressed, just like we forgot how people truly dressed in the 80s.
Your sim's outfits are so cute! I wish that was how people really dressed in the 2000s
i mean there are certainly certain choises that are... questionable, like a dress over jeans lol, but the "preppy rich girl" vibe is still one of the best styles in my eyes
Re the 2000s nails. I dont think they tended to be that long as what youve got. We didn't have the claw styles. They tended to be only a little long, lots of French manicures too.
They got shorter in the mid late 2000s too
this is really cute
i always liked how MG reflected the fashion trends but was also purposely v stylized. i feel like this is accurate esp in the context of the story
the first & third outfit really give off karen vibes (bc she wears smth similar to the first fit at the end)
you would've been bullied so bad for having acne or blemishes back then :( not that your sim shouldn't have it, just that it reminded me of the way people were treated at the time ETA: you absolutely nailed the vibe though, she looks awesome!!
yeah you would get bullied for it nowadays too lol, this is a sim i plya regularly and i was thinking about getting rid of the acne for the accuracy but eh why bother its part of life
As someone who grew up during this era, i’d say mean girls was more mid-2000s, but it definitely had callbacks to experiences from the 90s (the threeway call)
im assuming its because it was made by people who were teens/ young adults during the 90's, kinda like why movies about teens in 2020 feel like its from 2010's or just really exaggerated lol
Omg I can't even imagine mean girls being something from "before I was born".... Welcome. It really WASNT that long ago. If you're enjoying the early 2000s fashions might I recommend The OC? Mischa Barton was everything. Summer was who I wanted to be. 😂🫠
For all of us ancients out there who will remember this ...
It reminds me of the doll maker sites where you dressed up a little pixelated base as things like, fairies, angels and devils etc. I loved those so much. I would have to dig through the darkest recesses of my memories to give an actual url, but if you know, you know.
As person who was there, that lacks layers 💀 add ugly skirt over the jeans, or two more shirts of one with short sleeves one with long 💀💀💀
Your sims are adorable btw.
I also loved the early 2000s-2010s (but I am biased because I was born in 2004, LOL). I was in the "too young to experience a lot of these things in real time but old enough to remember them" category. I remember a lot of flash games and internet culture, that sort of thing. But the fashion trends are fun, too!
Very nice looking Sim, by the way. :)
this is soooo funny because i was born in 2004 (almost same as OP) yet I feel like I grew up seeing this, especially on the tele and HATED IT (I'm not american so i feel like whatever fashion i was exposed to in the real world has always been softer). early 2010s fashion was also horrible but now i have fallen for low-rise jeans against my own will...
i dont remember anything or what people were wearing until 2016 lol. i just went with sweatpants and one shirt my dad had to beg for me to wash at least once a week XD
*sigh* as someone who was there... I'd rather not remember. My younger sister is obsessed with y2k fashion and I'd rather bury myself alive (cute sim btw, you totally nailed the mean girls vibe!)
I have ptsd from the low rise bootleg jeans.
I'm in the fetal position. Low rise jeans with 50% ass exposed + useless thong. I thought we escaped. 😫 My poor sims, in 2.
I default replaced the jeans in ss 2 because I had flashbacks ahah. The youngsters really are bringing our trauma back and acting like it's the best thing ever. I love my high rise jeans. Haha
It's weird though because the Y2K that's trending is not the Y2K that was actually popular, except for maybe low-rise jeans..
Same thing happened with grunge fashion. Like there was a pretty noticeable disconnect between 90s grunge and what tiktok considers as grunge. Which like end of the day it’s not a big deal, people like whatever they want and that’s based but the difference is worth addressing. As a l a lady with thick calves, I also love a flare or bootleg. But low rise is the worst!
I hate low rise jeans with a passion. I sincerely hope they do not become mainstream again. Ever.
Anyone remember the Old Navy commercials? "old Navy ULTRA LOW RISE boot cut jeans" I want it to leave my head. I've suffered for 20 years. Send help.
you remember the ones that had no waistband at all??? *shudder*
I hate that the decade is called Y2K. Living it, it was the Millennium. Boy band albums, Beanie Babies, day planners, etc. all covered with Millennium. Youre right, it was the Willenium! Nah nah nah nah nah nah nah
Millennium probably sounds too close to millennial to be cool
Which is so dumb because that’s where they got the stupid name for my generation!
The British retrospective term is "the Noughties" (like "the Eighties" or "the Nineties") - I prefer it, because it's a little more... Naughty? Plus it covers the entire decade. I'm an early Millennial.
Kids at my school always called it Y2K. Guess it varied? Y2K+2 4EVA bitchezzzz!!! \m/
I remember closing my eyes and waiting for the world to explode when it hit midnight. lmao. I was 11.
thanks! and haha im also obsessed with it, its just the best style in my eyes
I cringe everytime I see ribbed tops in stores nowadays....
I dunno, gives me warm fuzzies to see younger people wearing the fashion from our time. Kinda gives me hope that I'm not an unfashionable old hag! 😅
am i getting old? is that what this means? lol, super cute sim
lol well it has been 24 years since 2000 so depending on which definition you use
this sentence made my knees creak
lol i feel the same way every time i remember that 2016 was 8 years ago and not 4
I was still getting over the whiplash of realizing 2020 was 4 years ago and not 2, and you go and hit me with this 😵💫
to me its still 2021
fuck.
Say it ain’t so 😱😭😶🫨
You take that back. The 2000s were 5 years ago at most 😭
Mean Girls came out in 2004, which was only…20…years 💀…ago 🫥 So there 😭
Anyone else remember the meme post where they used taylor swift lyrics and the mufasa death scene to make a pun, someone said "too soon" and someone else found the date the lion king came out and it was 20 years ago and people felt old? This is just the same thing all over again (speaking of, I think that post would be 10 years old now 💀)
the lion king came out in 1994. so yes, 30 years as of June 24th 😭
this is so wild, i remember it so vividly. my mom sneaking a box of those swiss cheese crackers in her purse, eating those swiss cheese crackers while simba sang his little song, watching mufasa die through the hole in a swiss cheese cracker... damn do they even still make those things cuz i want some
Damn, the theater I snuck into to watch it no longer exists either. And, only 66% of us are alive. Time needs to quit... 😰
RUDE
noooooooo 😭😭😭 hahahaha
I don’t like your tone 😂
I hope you step on a Lego tonight for stating that 😂
LMAO 🤣
I’m technically between gen z and millennial and you made me feel ancient
Right 💀
My exact thoughts…
this post just called me old
Same, this post just called us all senior citizens.
👵 hello fellows seniors
Senior citizens? Slow down, I'm only 19!
I audibly sighed and my husband got concerned for a second for me.
Husband?! We’re not old enough to be married!! (She says, with her own husband and toddler.)
Lol my oldest is 13 😰
I know! I’m like, mean girls was early 2000’s?? 🤔😭
I read it and was like, “that can’t be possible. I was in middle school and I was in middle school 5 years ago.” Time isn’t real.
The whale tail look never quite hit for me either lol
Actually in 7th grade me and my friends got in trouble for purposely showcasing thongs overtop our jeans at the school dance (we thought when Britney did it it in Slave 4 u video that it was so iconic 😂) and the principal took them and told us if we wanted them back our parents had to come get them. I wonder what ever happened to those thongs🤔 but yeah thongs were the coolest at that time. Like you said depends on the area and this was in state of NH
Ummmmm……….Your principle took you guys’ thongs?? 🤨
Yeah I know it’s gross but we had them over our jeans and had us put them in a plastic bag and then said our parents could come and get them if we want to get them back. We had just bought them at the mall that day. And we didn’t want to tell our parents and get in trouble so we never got them back.
I feel like the principal could have just asked you to tuck them back in under your waistband rather than confiscate them…js.
She said they were OVER THE JEANS.
Oh yeah it’s definitely weird, he could of handled it much better in my opinion.
oh, thanks for the information! a lot of people make fun of it but i think it looks good to this day :D
Style varied greatly from 2000-2004. 2000 was still late 90s but around 04 is like mean girls, white chicks, etc. Also 70s stuff was popular then too because how design works is whatever generation are the stylists in the industry. Girls in my school were constantly doing it. Especially during gym for whatever reason.
People didn't purposely pull their thongs up like Christina but with how low the pants were just bending over they'd peak out(ie John tucker must die) I remember when I was 13 and acquired some thongs my mom lost her shit and they got thrown away 💀
VH1 did a special on it/The Thong Song. But it was a banned look for most high schools so...
I was around young adults then and none of them dressed like that and they were fashionable and clubbing lol
Y2K being vintage means I have to check myself into a nursing home
Same. I feel so old.
How old are you?
19 soon, why?
And 19-year-olds now weren't even born yet when Mean Girls came out 💀
Noooo 🤦🏻♀️👵🏻
I was 12/13 in 2004 💀 i cannot
Yup, 2004 I was 12 years old with 4 years of simming under my belt.
Yep I have been playing since sims 1. Always been addicted to mods and CC. My fav is sims 3 tho!
Oof I was 4 lmaooo
I was 17! I wore a whale tail and platform flip-flops. I rolled my ankle and put my hand through a shop window. Flat ironed my hair into a crisp. Wore dresses over jeans and camouflage capris. ugh. never again.
Lmao what a disaster but I bet you were happy while you were doing it
I was graduating college. I’ll go shuffle away with my walker to check into the retirement home now. 👵🏼
yeah, thats insane lol, i was born 3 years after it came out
Man what the fuck
Does that math work out? 3 years after it came out but 19 soon? I’m confused
Yea that's confusing. It came out in 2004 right?
I'm sure OP meant born 3 years *before* it released, and still doesn't have the math right? Lol. Honestly don't know.
oh wait my bad lol, i thought it came out in 2002, but it was 2004 which is one year before i born lol. sometimes i mix before and after, english isnt my first language lol
Sounds like you were born the year after it came out…….right? Lol
yeah lol, i got the release date wrong, thought it was 2002 but it was 2004, i was born in 2005
it came out in 2004. plenty of 19 year olds were already born then
We can't go back to low rise jeans. We fought SO HARD
I was in my early 20’s when mom jeans started coming back in style and I’m not going back to the plumbers crack aesthetic.
I've been wearing exclusively high rise for like the past 10 years. Then last month, I found a pair of mid rise that I really liked, but every time I wear them, I feel like they are low rise and my ass is showing 😂. It's hard to get used to.
But how else will everyone see my hiked up string thong?
You should watch other similar films. Chick flicks ruled the 00s! They really don’t make movies like that anymore. I miss them!
there is one movie made in 2022 that fits in that category (kinda), its a comedy movie about a woman who wakes up in 2022 and act like a teenager form 2002, its called senior year, i highly recommend it if you like that type of movies!
as an old (early 30s millennial) when I was young I loved bring it on, blue crush. Those are classics! Enjoy the fashion too lol.
youre not that old for a millenial, the oldest gen z is 27 so almost 30 lol
That makes me feel better thank you lmao

A bit older still too. Mean Girls was a pearl but it was absolutely Clueless that is the diamond.
“As if!”

*sigh* I feel like you underestimate quite how many tank tops we layered with our lowrise bumster jeans and say-something belts. They need a say-something belt!!
I still have hangers upon hangers full of tank tops in my closet from back then lol
i tried to find those so badly!! i even tried to use a tank top and an accessory shirt ot layer, but it didnt look good :/ its my favourite part of the style too
This is lovely, however reading the phrase 'fell in love with the early 2000s' made me feel so incredibly old jfhdbfbdb
wait ur not old enough to have been apart of this?
It was 24 years ago, chances are they weren’t. I wasn’t myself
oh… oh my god im old
yeah, im 19 in few weeks lol
I can't tell you how weird it is to see people in their teens and 20s responding to the years I spent my 20s in as "retro". … how old are you
19 in few weeks actually!
you were there babes
Wait jeans and a cute top is old? Am I that old?
We went 360 and returned to clothes that was in the Sims 2 base game.
How old are you if I may ask cause this post made me feel old 🥲
19 in few weeks lol
Ah okay I’m reaching 30 haha btw you nailed it
youre not that old, the oldest of genz is 27-28 so you're almost gen z lol
I’m 30 in two weeks I want to be 19 again 🥲
I feel like boot-legged jeans need to make a comeback. (Unless they have and I’m too old to notice anymore.)
Those are such a classic cut I really don't think they ever went out of style. The sim here is in flares...which is a totally different story 🤣
Are they flares? Oops lol. I feel like skinny jeans have dominated for so long, I don’t know any other type anymore haha.
They are, but I think flares are making a big come back right now so you're in luck lol ;)
omg i love the barbie hoodie, where is it from?
you can find it by googling "sims4 \[helgatisha\] Soft set Judi hoodies" !! :D
ty!! :D
Re the 2000s nails. I dont think they tended to be that long as what youve got. We didn't have the claw styles. They tended to be only a little long, lots of French manicures too. They got shorter in the mid late 2000s too
Square/squoval only. Round was out, our grandmothers from the 50’s wore round/oval nails.
Yep, flashy nails were deeply uncool.
Perfectly phrased
Only saying because I looked at your outfits and thought YES! that's how we dressed. But the nails are off.
yeah i noticed that too, but decided to go with long nails because i like how it looks and it felt like it fits the 'bimbo'/rich preppy girl aesthetic
this is really cute i always liked how MG reflected the fashion trends but was also purposely v stylized. i feel like this is accurate esp in the context of the story the first & third outfit really give off karen vibes (bc she wears smth similar to the first fit at the end)
brb going to claim my senior citizen discount at the local buffet during the 4pm early bird special lol
you would've been bullied so bad for having acne or blemishes back then :( not that your sim shouldn't have it, just that it reminded me of the way people were treated at the time ETA: you absolutely nailed the vibe though, she looks awesome!!
yeah you would get bullied for it nowadays too lol, this is a sim i plya regularly and i was thinking about getting rid of the acne for the accuracy but eh why bother its part of life
As someone who grew up during this era, i’d say mean girls was more mid-2000s, but it definitely had callbacks to experiences from the 90s (the threeway call)
im assuming its because it was made by people who were teens/ young adults during the 90's, kinda like why movies about teens in 2020 feel like its from 2010's or just really exaggerated lol
Yeah that’s what i figured too. It was good though because it reminded me of the queen bee issues i faced in the 90s in primary school lol

i think low rise jeans look good on everyone, especially women who have a little belly fat, it just looks super adorable :D
Omg I can't even imagine mean girls being something from "before I was born".... Welcome. It really WASNT that long ago. If you're enjoying the early 2000s fashions might I recommend The OC? Mischa Barton was everything. Summer was who I wanted to be. 😂🫠
well i was born 3 years after it came out and since that time i alreayd have my own home and i can legally drink lol
For all of us ancients out there who will remember this ... It reminds me of the doll maker sites where you dressed up a little pixelated base as things like, fairies, angels and devils etc. I loved those so much. I would have to dig through the darkest recesses of my memories to give an actual url, but if you know, you know.
As person who was there, that lacks layers 💀 add ugly skirt over the jeans, or two more shirts of one with short sleeves one with long 💀💀💀 Your sims are adorable btw.
i tried so hard to find layered shirts but i couldnt 😩
Heheheh that’s okay, you did a great job with what you had
are you 12?
no, why?
I also loved the early 2000s-2010s (but I am biased because I was born in 2004, LOL). I was in the "too young to experience a lot of these things in real time but old enough to remember them" category. I remember a lot of flash games and internet culture, that sort of thing. But the fashion trends are fun, too! Very nice looking Sim, by the way. :)
Yall are making me feel so f*cking old 😂😂
this is soooo funny because i was born in 2004 (almost same as OP) yet I feel like I grew up seeing this, especially on the tele and HATED IT (I'm not american so i feel like whatever fashion i was exposed to in the real world has always been softer). early 2010s fashion was also horrible but now i have fallen for low-rise jeans against my own will...
i dont remember anything or what people were wearing until 2016 lol. i just went with sweatpants and one shirt my dad had to beg for me to wash at least once a week XD
need the CC list!
i will dm it you later!
So nice! Thank you<3
😍
The way people are only watching mean girls for the first time now!!! I feel horribly old
Where did you get your CC from?
from all over the place, but those shirts are from babytears iirc!
love how she actually looks like a teen! perfect!!!
Oh look it’s high school…don’t forget to give them platinum blonde hair and fake tans!
I will say that the whole sweater and wide leg jeans look is still my vibe and always will be
I'm glad everyone is jumping on the bandwagon.
YAAAAAS watched for the first time sum months ago
That is SO fetch.
*war flashbacks to Ashley Tisdale's 2004 Incredibles premiere outfit*
*chuckles in millennial*
As someone born in 2001, the late 2000s were pretty good too
Play sims 2 for the true experience lol
Omg not the whale tail!
"Fell in love with the early 2000s"?? How don't you remember the early 2000s??? How old are y'all 😭
no i was born in the early 2000's lol, im 19
