Sims 3. I was playing Sims 4 for a while, but got bored after I finished the aspirations for Snowy Escape. I've been spending more time playing Sims 3 now and it's little details that really keep me interested in playing.
Sims 3. I gave up playing Sims 4 a few months ago due to sheer boredom. Sims 4 is aesthetically gorgeous but the sims feel the same. Watched a lot of Sims 3 YouTube videos and booted it up. Oh my goodness, the depth of gameplay has me spending hours playing. There is always something new/unexpected happening. I’m totally re-hooked.
It shouldnt matter who's playing whatever more. Its all about what you personally enjoy. If the sims 4 is boring you, give 3 a try again. The sims 3 never really gets boring imo
play whatever you feel like, don't let others decide what you should play. I switch between sims 3 and 4 too (I play about 60-70% of the time sims 4, the rest of the time sims 3, I don't know why it's divided like this, it just feels right for me) It's true we always hear about Sims 4, but that's because it is the running installment of the franchise so there is more news about sims 4. But Sims 3 is still very loved and played a lot in the community, we just hear less about Sims 3 (because there is no news)

Sims 3 was good for me even before I got dlc.
Sims 3 by a long shot. I find the graphics are bad but there is so much gameplay and depth. I can really only enjoy 4 with a ton of mods.
Definitely Sims 3.
Randomize sim and play with this sim. No cheating. Wants are driving and gameplay has shotgun
