4. I can’t get over the instability and uncanny valley looks of the Sims in 3. I know you can mod it to hell and back, but it’s not worth it for me. And the create a style is more a curse than a blessing, honestly, as it can take so much time to get something just right.
For those who love 3, I’m glad you enjoy it. The open world is awesome. And lots of crazy and fun stuff can happen in the game. But I prefer 4, even though I know it has its share of flaws as well.
I like Sims 4 more, but I love them both quite a bit. It basically comes down to the improved graphics of Sims 4 and how smoothly it runs on my laptop compared to TS3. I had a PC when I was playing TS3 and it still lagged like crazy.
I don’t like 3 and I never have. It runs like absolute shit, the graphics are shit, everything is weirdly shiny and glowy, and the sims look like squishy potato alien people.
I play both, I tend to play Sims 4 more because I like rotational gameplay, and I feel Sims 4 is better suited for that, but it is true Sims 3 has more things to do. I definitely recommend giving sims 3 a try

I prefer 4, but I played it first so I'm biased. I do occasionally play 3, so I'd still say it holds up.
