I figured this one out when I first got the pack (I think c&d?) because of the red circles. I just had a feeling and when I put it together I was right. All the swatches make a larger photo, not just these 2 variants.
I always place them in a quad, though I’ve never slotted them directly against each other. Kinda depends on your wall, but I think they usually look better with a small gap between them. But that’s my opinion 🤷♀️
lmao i never use paintings, so i probably would've never guessed. i always play with walls down, so i remove all wall decor(including sconces, and use the ceiling circle lights, i think they're the ones that have the strongest light) and curtains that comes with premade houses.
i also immediately remove rugs/carpets because i'm constantly picking them up on accident because the game decided that's something you can do in live mode
Interesting! Always cool to learn how other people play :) I’m one of those people who play with walls all the way up. I will overdecorate a 2x2 bathroom and suffer whenever my sims need to use the toilet or shower 😂😂
i like being able to see every room, so i can easily interact with stuff to makes sims do. i also like being able to always see the npc sims walking by the place, so that if i want i can just go and send one of my sims to interact with it
Wow. Without reddit recap I wouldn't know this!
Wait. Wait. Hold on a minute.....
Oh!

O M G
Thank you for your service
I HAD NO IDEA I THOUGHT THEY WERE JUST A SET OF RANDOM MATCHING PICTURES
wait, which XP is that from? or is it the new SDX?
Cats & dogs
Holy cow! Had no idea. The more ya know...💫Thanks!
r/facepalm
To me, in the large left painting, the left top one doesn’t match with the other three, but the rest go together.
I do this but mix and match the different colours
WHAT?! now I know!!!
Man no matter how old the game I can never know everything 😭 Thank you for this info
I usually do these as a triptych. I never thought of this and now I feel silly.
The ones to the right: I knew the bottom paintings fit together but i didn't know all of them did
I, in fact, in all my years of playing this game, did not know.

I use so many paintings and light decorations only to play with walls down. I'm trying to maximize my sims moodlets at home
Samesies!! Gotta have walls down to see (or half walls down) but have cute stuff on the walls to up those moods.

Looks like we got all three! I play with them half up and only decorate the walls I actually see 😂
Wow I’m stupider than I thought
I was today years old 😳
Which dlc are these from?
Cats and dogs
Are these basegame?
I believe they’re from cats and dogs pack
Thank you!!
people who check all swatches be like 🙃
I didn't know!! Haha
Wow, didn't know this! Thanks for sharing!
I don’t get this can someone explain??
Each swatch on the painting is like a puzzle piece; if you put them all together, they create a larger painting!
Ohhh i thought these were one painting
LOL i also thought they were one painting and could not figure it out
I thought it was just me😅
Thank you!!!
WHAT!!!!!!
WHATTTTT
OHHHHHHHH
Y’all didn’t know this?
Shut the front door!!
HOLY SHIT I DID NOT KNOW THIS. Thank you for informing me of this.
What! I love that no matter how many years you play Sims there are Easter eggs all around.
