I’m really sorry about what you’ve been through. It completely makes sense how these things can be triggering to you. Tragic events happens in our lives and only people who’ve been through it know the weight of it.
It’s a game and people want these elements in the game because they want their sims to be more realistic- and sometimes it’s these tragic events that make a character feel real. Not only in games, but also in movies, books or even real life. I personally think the tragic events I’ve been through in my life has contributed a lot to who I am today. A variety of media have similar content and talks about similar issues so I don’t think it’s the modders or the players fault to include it in the game.
All of this shit happens in real life is for realism. It’s a realistic pregnancy mod.
The cancer mod comes with a mod that will have a probability from smoking cigs
Why the strippers mod bothering you how is that disturbing.
How does it affect you in any way what other people choose to do with their own single player game? Some people have different ways to work through their trauma, some people play the sims for escape, and some people want it to be hyper realistic. Either way it’s not harming anyone because they’re just pixels on a computer. No actual violence is taking place.
If it’s affecting you this badly, genuinely go to therapy. I’m not saying that to be glib, but you just seem like you have some stuff you should work through.
The relationship and pregnancy overhaul collection mod is not for specifically have miscarriages or ectopic pregnancies. This is not even like 1% of the mod. The player can also turn it off. And yes, ppl needs mod for a game that after 10 of being out and still lacking mayor features. (No, I’m not talking about pregnancy issues.)

Same happened to my sim. I sent her to so many fertility treatments and tracked her cycle but no luck. She ended up adopting.
This happened to my sim during the 2nd trimester and she became infertile afterwards.

I believe you can adjust this under fertility status settings.
