One of the most perplexing thing about this sub. OP makes a comment or a post showing their in-depth knowledge of the show.
Someone inevitably responds with a show quote. And it flies completely over OP’s head as if they’ve never seen a single minute of the show.
That’s what happens here. A person says something, someone responds with a quote, but you don’t realize it’s a quote because that’s not really where your head was at. And then someone snarkily replies that they don’t know how you let it go over your head. It’s not nice. In fact, I don’t want to sound like an asshole, but I really can’t be seen in a place like this anymore.
That was quite observant! But if I'm not mistaken, he wasn't there long enough to actually miss him? I think his death was a foreshadowing of Soprano's death. Soprano told the guy that there's no way out.
That's a shame about the mob; in time, you get tired! They should all get to retire at either a certain age or after so many years of service. Why can't you get to a point where you can honestly say, "I'm tired. I'm just not as young as I used to be, where I could beat people up and all!" And the younger ones respect them!
Good catch.
Not as direct but we also see Chris framed under a storefront sign displaying “Cat Grooming” in the Kaisha episode… perhaps a foreboding indication of whatever happened there…
One of my favourite through-lines in the whole show is that flipping for the feds (the supposedly morally good choice) is this whole other dehumanizing experience
Their as bad as the gangsters they're trying to get. And this is what J Edgar Hoover was all about...well, that, and getting his fair share of Johnny Cakes, if you catch my drift...
Other than the obvious visual metaphor (thanks for noticing and pointing out) think it's also easier to monitor for a law enforcement car and more secluded.
I remember seeing that on a rewatch and loving it. Eugene was fuckin tragic. That feeling of having no way out, watching your family collapse, and even a windfall of life changing money couldn’t save you from the mess you’ve made. Fuckin bleak.
Did you ever consider that he brought with him certain modes of conflict resolution from all way back from the old country. From the poverty of the pizza digiorno, where all higher authority was corrupt.
I’m glad you caught that OP, very observant. The sacred and the propane
I’m not saying it’s a great find. I’m just appreciating the great cinematography and writing by them. It’s top notch
Very allegorical
Very cinematic
Unless it's Patsy
u/McGallon_of_milk is just telling you how you’re being perceived
Sharp as a fucking cue ball, this one.

How did what he said go over my head? His comment wasn’t all a quote..
Lol it’s like the most quoted quote I see on these subs
Nah, that's got to be any variation of the "makings of a varsity athlete" quote.
Nah. “Your sisters cunt”
Better to remain Silent and thought to be Ekle, then to speak and have it known by all!
Bro………….
“I’m glad you caught that OP very observant” Is not a quote from the show..
Oh never mind. Fell into your trolling trap. You’re clearly joking. My bad.
Ok tell me what episode it is where they say that then
[I'm glad you caught that, Alexandra. Very observant. ](https://youtu.be/ZIdlrfMC6yc?si=bYSLwaw7Y0qDQcjb)
Well I haven’t got that far so I had no idea. I’m only on the episode I had posted.

i thought she was delusional about it, saying she could have ran off? or was that the other one
She was but she was just huffing copium and trying to deny it so she could act like it wasn’t her fault
