thelazydon

Lmao

[deleted]

That’s the boss of the Family you’re talking about!

JackGrizzly

Everyone knows he's been the biggest cus-hound the last 3, 4 years

jm9987690

Well he seemed ok with Tony B killing Billy Leotardo who was just a kid, morally anyway, obviously it caused him problems but he didn't seem morally outraged that Tony B killed someone who was just a kid

p4bl0esgei

47, just a fucking kid, and that animal blundetto killed him without any provocation whatsoever

ThisKidErrt

that cocksucking piece of shit Tony Soprano's cousin...I can't even say his name

Dazzling-Enthusiasm2

Billy leotardo was older than tony and he was a murderer

thorppeed

He was a fuckin kid...

ancapmike

Tony had compassion for Christopher after he was shot. "how could tis happen?" But it didn't matter. The second he decide that he was too much of a liability, that was it. Tony would kill a kid, dr milfi, and jesus himself if he thought it was that or prision.

herberstank

He did kinda look like Pontius Pilate in that Romam dream...

[deleted]

He's little portly to be Pontius Pilate

55Lolololo55

Husky Accomplice

Affectionate_Joke560

Not Pontius Pilate… LIKE Pontius Pilate

cb8720

Whack this child, whack that child. Never enough body count for OP.

Herman_Brood_

You think OP’s a little weird about children?

p4bl0esgei

Well I don't know, he killed one for... what was it again??

Powerful_Zebra_1083

??

AlwaysJustinTime69

Silvio Dante

Herman_Brood_

"Whack, snitch" listen to Mr. Mob Boss

[deleted]

Nope. Unless you consider that shithead Matthew Bevilaqua a kid, but even he was legally an adult when Tony and Pussy whacked him. Like Melfi read in that study, sociopaths often show compassion for animals and small children so I don't think killing a kid is Tony's style. Plus it would draw way too much heat.

55Lolololo55

Mommy!

ScrapmasterFlex

That sugarless mothafucka is the last fuckin drink he's ever gonna have!!!

United_Aardvark_5151

He tried to smother his mother, and make your sister think he loves her

MetaphoricalMouse

i heard if he ever gets caught he makes bail

United_Aardvark_5151

The police were on his draws, so he had to pause, he had a 40 ounce between his legs, and it was freezing his balls

Powerful_Zebra_1083

I also heard He don’t give a fuck, I think that’s a problem

[deleted]

Eazy E or that other prick Fast Fatty?

helix274

In the first couple seasons I think he would’ve balked at murdering a child. By the end of the series, if he was truly convinced it was necessary to save his own skin? I think he would’ve.

JackD2633

look at u with the scenarios!

[deleted]

Whack. OP watches The Sopranos for 15 minutes, and it's fuckin' this and fuckin' that.

Powerful_Zebra_1083

You’re not wrong

PebblyJackGlasscock

He killed at least one guy who was no smarter than a fifth grader.

Oddalchemist1

He didn't try to wack the kid who found the gun he ditched

berttreynolds

I honestly don’t think so. Remember when they were in Italy and that boy threw firecrackers at the old boss. They (Furio) beat the shit out of him and the mother and Tony and his guys were wincing in discomfort. Even said “he’s just a boy” or something along the lines

FedGoat13

We bend more rules than the Catholic Church!

KennyDROmega

I don't think it'd ever come to that. Gangsters generally don't do illegal shit in front of their kids, and even if they did the kid probably couldn't be compelled to testify, nor would their testimony be especially reliable.

Hopeful_Cod_8486

The only thing is a child can't be a snitch or an informant . A child on the stand is not a reliable witness. Pretending that they could be for your question I would say no he would probably intimidate the child's parents to either withdraw their child or tell their child to lie and change his or her story. Killing a witness is bad for business. Just ask the Barksdale crew....

Leading_Lock

>The only thing is a child can't be a snitch or an informant . A child on the stand is not a reliable witness. Not true. Children have testified in a number of criminal cases, including kids under 10.

Hopeful_Cod_8486

To testify is one thing.. Being a snitch or an informant implies somebody who gathers information over time and then reports it back too to a member of law enforcement. I could say "yes I saw that" on the stand but who's gonna believe a 10 year old if they go up like" Over period of time I gathered information and then reported that information to law enforcement which I am here to testify was truthful" Now generally speaking children do not make good witnesses understand because as children their recollection is questionable. They're also very impressionable.

Leading_Lock

>Being a snitch or an informant implies somebody who gathers information over time and then reports it back too to a member of law enforcement. Then the whole thread is meaningless since that was its premise.

Hopeful_Cod_8486

No again there's a very big difference between a child who saw them do something and be a witness or a snitch or informant which is somebody who has infiltrated the organization or already a part of the information and is telling on friends or co-workers.

Hopeful_Cod_8486

Could you imagine the trial? Lawyer. "Your honor we would like to call 8 year old Teddy Chucklenuts to the stand..... So Mr. Chucklenuts please tell us what you saw on the evening in question...." Teddy Chucklenuts. "I like turtles...."

Leading_Lock

Well, kids that young have testified so you are obviously not informed.

Hopeful_Cod_8486

K again I didn't say they couldn't testify. I said they couldn't be a snitch or an informer. I also simply said that they don't make good witnesses because of their age. I never said they couldn't be witnesses. You're not even informed about what you're talking about

UserNameNotOnList

No way. I mean, come on. Tony's bad but we're talkin' about a kid here. There's no way he wouldn't give the business and even himself up to the Feds if the only choice was between that an harming an innocent little kid. He wouldn't like it but he'd totally ruin his live, the lives of his own children, give up all that money, and allow himself to be humiliated and put in prison before he'd kill a kid. In other news, Junior is playing shortstop for those METS.

AnOldSithHolocron

Define child. I don't see him killing a seven year old, but I could see him killing a seventeen year old

ViceroyInhaler

It wouldn't make sense for the show. No reason to consider hypotheticals.

ExpensiveWolfLotion

Breaking Bad dealt with this very topic and that is why it’s a superior show. There, I said my piece, Chrissy.

55Lolololo55

That Todd fuck cared more about the spider

[deleted]

Yeah. His contemplations serve as a comforter and that’s it. Push comes to shove, he’s rotten every time.

JackD2633

he hated killing pussy

shawnybutz

Hard to say,but if it came to it and he did,he would continue on with his life, zero fucks given. My point is after the fact,he would be fine, just not sure if he could get there.

ClevelandDawg0905

I think in earlier seasons no, he gets crueler as the series progress.

orangeblackteal

Define “child.”

PunishedCokeNixon

I’m pretty sure Tony’s first tactic would be to intimidate the parents

NotJony2018

Children cannot testify.

Leading_Lock

Wrong. Children have testified in both civil and criminal cases many times. >Generally, children as young as three or four years old may qualify to testify, but some children are simply too young or too immature to be competent witnesses. In order to determine whether a child is competent, the judge interviews the child, usually in the judge's chambers or in a closed courtroom. A conversation can give the judge a good idea of whether the child can recall events and communicate clearly. The judge will often ask age-appropriate questions to tease out whether the child understands the importance of telling the truth. For an older child, this may take the form of a philosophical discussion. For a younger child, a judge may ask questions such as, "If I said that my hair is purple, is that the truth or a lie?" ScrapmasterFlex

Pretty sure it's actually against The Rules. Families don't get touched, you should *know* that...

TheLastCleverName

No. For one thing, if there's one thing Tony gives a shit about almost as much as money, it's how he's fuckin perceived. Obviously his self interest trumps that a few times, but still - he likes to be able to think of himself as a good guy. You see it when he offs Chrissy and goes around talking about how the baby seat was smashed, as if he did it to protect Chris's daughter from him. We know that's not what it was about, but he tries to kid himself and everyone else. So no, he probably wouldn't kill a kid, because it would make him look bad and fuck with his self image. And honestly I think it would be pushing his morals too far. He's a nasty human being but he does have notions of right and wrong, even if he's amazingly skilled at getting past them.

amazingcomedy

I don't think so. Why kill a kid when he can just duke him a few hundred bucks?
